DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC - Crystal City

Rooms were just okay. No microwave (only 1 to share downstairs that was super dirty).

The market gentleman and the gentleman at the front desk were extremely nice. Very good staff.

Common areas (other than the microwave area) were nice and updated. Parking was simple but lots of people parked like fools. Area surrounding the hotel was a little dirty but it's walkable to the important things.

Jordan at the front desk has been very helpful during my stay. I also appreciated being offered an upgrade for a fair price at the start of my stay. Lots of restaurants and shops near by and very easy to get an uber or lyft anytime of the day.

If for nothing less you should stay here and experience the rotating restaurant on the top of the hotel that overlooks DC, the Pentagon and much of Northern Virginia. The service is amazing and the rooms are nice. Parking is limited.

Convened a conference here in early September, and the conference staff were terrific! Everything went accordingly to plan. And the hotel staff were courteous and accommodating. Conference rooms worked out perfectly and options were solid and comfortable. We needed a low cost lunch option for conference attendees and they gave us three menu options that worked well given our packed agenda. Hotel rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Appreciated the in-hotel "mart" where we could purchase food, beverages, and snacks as needed throughout the day and into the evening in addition to a comfortable bar area where you could have dinner. Hotel shuttle from Reagan National was particularly convenient. Only ding would be not quite as close to Crystal City area restaurants as other area hotels. Would convene another conference here in a heartbeat.

Excellent hotel close to the airport. Had to wait in the morning at reception with our luggage while my husband got our hire car. Lovely lady at reception got me a coffee while I was waiting. Excellent service with friendly staff.

Our experience with this hotel is overall good. Although beeing a older and busy hotel, it still keeps a sertain standard. But the most important factors where in place like, cleanlyness, service and a good beed to sleep in.

Excersise room is pretty good equipped.

I really like the close proximity to nearby Whole Foods Market

Good hotel. Our room was clean, and service was excellent.

Seth was the best, he accommodated me along with many other guests that had cancelled flights due to weather. He provided the most seamless and easing experience amongst the havoc at the airport.

Exceptional customer service from check in to check out. Shak remembered me from my stay last month and upgraded my room and gifted me a bottle of wine. Room was meticulous, adorable view with balcony, and quiet. Upon check out Delphine, called a taxi and I was given a bottle of water while waiting. Breakfast was top notch too! Plus, you can't beat the location. Highly recommend this hotel!!

We got set up in this hotel after American Airlines messed up our flight. Bob at the front desk was absolutely fantastic. Some of the best service I have ever received. He made the end of a very frustrating night easy on us. Above and beyond service, and we are incredibly grateful!

Front desk lady is very very rude. I went to her about my parking garage key not working the first thing she says is “well did you pay for it” also this is my first time visiting this state city and hotel so I’m a little confused about how things go here. She made me feel more belittled than helpful. She was helping someone at the desk and I was standing behind the guest the front desk lady yells across to me without speaking or greeting me or even knowing what I needed. (same lady) “mam you’re gonna have to go over there” in a lobby full of guests. I never got her name but she definitely made my stay and trip uncomfortable and unwelcome.

I picked up a relative for dinner who was attending an Acquisition class. I saw the room an it was fabulous.

The hotel is well put together, the food nearby is very good, and the rooms are reasonably priced.

We stay here whenever we’re in town. Check-in is always seamless, the staff is friendly, and the room is clean with great AC. This stay we got food at the lobby bar, in which the staff was attentive, and the food was yummy. The cookies are always a delicious treat as well.

So Google maps has a new section beta section for things that are walkable safety nearby activities so I've listed things in there as well hopefully you'll be able to see it. The staff here is really great they offer a lot in this hotel and you're near everything and walking distance unless you want to go across the bridge to see more of the actual DC area. If you don't there's a gym around the corner there is food there's shopping there's so much near the area they also have a great gym and they have a really good breakfast it is definitely worth the price. And the staff is very friendly to recommend things around the area if you stay here I am quite sure you're going to enjoy your time here whether be for business a romantic getaway or family you're definitely going to have fun.

Nice hotel just check in took long and it was almost midnight when we checked in. The price is crazy for parking too.

Our flights were cancelled last night. We were exhausted and got to this hotel close to 11pm. We went to the bar area and met me tell you the entire staff and the manager were absolutely wonderful. They got us food right away and the food was delicious. I want to thank the bartender and the bar manager. Spot on service for 3 exhausted senior citizens including a 96 yr old.

It's nice, good option to stay close to DC. The hotel is not new though.
