For a smaller pharmacy, it is very efficient. Because of its size, there MIGHT be an occasion that a certain medication might not be on the shelves and they have to order it. But most common prescriptions are usually on hand. Even though they can get very busy they do everything possible to fill each prescription in the shortest time. The staff is extremely friendly and the prices of my prescriptions are very low.

Pharmacist AnnaMarie was very helpful. She expeditiously solved an issue regarding my prescription. As busy of a pharmacy that they are, she took time and really cared about solving the problem. Very wonderful!

My family has used this pharmacy about a dozen times in past couple years. I gave them benefit of doubt at first but now I'm certain they just have outdated policies/procedures that need to be modernized. Alternatively, could be they have such in place and not a single soul there adheres to such and no one is managing them/ensuring things are done correctly.

Don't get me wrong, they are okay if they have your script; otherwise, you'll have to contact them. If they receive your script and cannot fill it because they don't have it, they will NOT contact you - not the same day, next day, or the following - not via phone, email, SMS. This even goes for medications that are time sensitive I come to find out i.e. only effective if taken with 24-48 hrs of illness onset.

For some perspective and for those who don't like Walmart, Walmart picks up the phone and calls us immediately if they don't have the script and they tell us when it could be here at same time.

Publix doesn't lift a finger nor have they setup any form of automated communication for such. You would need to call and check on your script at which point they will look it up and say yep, we don't have that, sorry. Then they don't even have the back half of the resolution i.e. when should I expect it. They figure that out when you call too. I don't expect a phone call but needs to be some timely communication regarding medication availability i.e. SMS perhaps. I consider this patient safety concern.

Hard to stick with a pharmacy that is so far behind the times especially when the issue and respective solution would literally cost them next to nothing to implement and would improve their employee morale and provide value to their customers.

The only one worth anything in the pharmacy is the pharmacist manager. The gentleman who does more ringing than the cashiers. They drove me in circles to get a prescription filled prior to leaving, one day in advance.

The “cashier/customer service” lady, I use that term loosely, directed me in circles. And then still did nothing. I’m switching my prescription to Express Scripts starting in May. Thanks for ABSOLUTELY nothing.

Dropped off prescription 11.00am , the woman had little clue and was flustered stated it's been one of these days. ( not one customer in line). She took all my information and stated that the prescription would be ready in two hours and would text for pick up. At 3.00pm no text , I phoned the pharmacy it was closed for lunch ! I phoned back at 4.00pm and the person had no clue in regard to filling of the prescription and therfore it was not fiiled and therefore unavailable for another hour.
Had to wait until the next day for pick up. I certainly will not be using this pharmacy ever again.

I hate to complain, this place hasn't got its stuff together, ever. They text to tell us our prescriptions ready, we go in. They tell us to wait another hour, we leave, go shopping, go eat, come back and they made us wait another 30 minutes. Very few customers, five people in the pharmacy working, this is just poorly managed and very unprofessional. As I'm sitting here waiting, I can see two of the employees giggling and kibitzing while they're supposed to be working. My time is valuable, it should be treated as such.

Just had a terrible experience at Publix Parkway Palm Coast, FL
Prescription was sent December 19th, 4 days later still not ready.
Unfortunately the pharmacy didn’t handle well the situation. As a pharmacist I’m very disappointed with the Publix local Pharmacist that gave zero care when requested more information. Made zero efforts to solve the problem.
What a joke!

I have been going to this pharmacy for 6 years and in the last year it has become the worst place ever. It is giving Publix a bad name. You never know when your prescription is ready. When you call ahead and get a pick up time it's still not ready when you get there.
And if you call in refills they wait until you arrive to pick up the medicine to tell you it's not in stock and that they need to order it. How about order it when it is requested not when the person shows up days later. This place needs to get it together.

I was pushed for time AND shopping for two seperate clients at once. Both small orders. But the cashier "Gerry" couldn't ring up the order I had on the belt in a carry along shopping cart unless I unloaded it for her- all nine items. Please Publix, do better in your hiring. Who wants to deal with a cashier that's SO lazy she can't preform her job because although the order was neatly on the belt, That was just to much for the ole girl to handle. Jamel, the gentleman bagging couldn't even wrap his head around that kind of lazy. Poor Jamel was a complete gentleman though, and deserves a medal for having to work with someone that lazy! 👏

Poor customer service. Arrived with a small child. No other customers in the area. Stood in the “wait here” line. Tech made me walk around the pharmacy just to hand a prescription to another person 5 feet away from the tech. Thanks for going the extra mile Publix Pharmacy.
