Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Love it! If I could get there daily, I would be eating custard EVEDYDAY!! My Dr. Said eat all you want, when u want! I am having trouble gaining weight & I hope this helping me. Frozen custard at RITA'S IS THE BOMB! They're closing 10/15 & I'm panicking. LOL

Another place I always stop at in Pittsburgh ♡ I love Rita's Italian ice! Highly recommend sweedish fish with or without vanilla custard! Cotton candy and smores are also really good or for fall time pumpkin Italian ice with vanilla custard!

Very delicious! And I asked for a personalized note for my bf, and they put it on there! Great service. 10/10 would recommend

This Pittsburgh gem is serving some delicious treats. The peach and custard delight, was blissful. Ima make a special stop next time I'm close. Cant get that taste back home.

We are longtime customers of Rita's in general and this location since it opened. The staff is always very nice and helpful and they always let you try any flavors to help you decide. The parking lot is small but sufficient.

Amazing as always! I always get the mango gelati but I did try their new frozen coffee and it was amazing!!! We come here a few times a week!

I LOVE Rita's. Not only is it part of my childhood, but it's soooo good! It's easily one of the best places for something cool and sweet. The staff is quick, and also professional. I have nothing bad to say about them at all!

We were so glad to see Rita's open for spring. My 15 yr old and I stopped in on our way home from an appointment. This particular location has lots of parking. We both enjoyed gellati which is custard and ice together. I had blood orange and my teen had mango, both flavors were excellent. It's a fairly inexpensive treat that is sweet but not too sweet.

I couldn't wait for Rita's season. My all time favorite flavor is vanilla. It wasn't one of the day's flavors. I kind of expected that. Cotton candy was a pretty good second choice. I talked about this with the girl working. She told me it wasn't really a popular flavor but I could request a flavor for a specific day. I did. I knew I'd be back 4 days later and sure enough, vanilla on the board. I made sure to buy 2 quarts. Very nice girls working.

I love this particular Rita's. I drive past it nearly every day, and every day I'm tempted to stop. Every winter I drive past with sorrow that they aren't open, and Glee that I'll be able to save some money. The staff are always friendly and surprisingly personable, often putting up with my incredibly inane questions.

Love this place! They were very nice when waiting on us and the service was pretty quick. I like the variety of flavors and how they constantly have different flavors. The prices seem just a smite bit high but not enough to complain.

Glad I live close and it was well worth the wait for the shop to reopen. Workers were friendly and kind to all customers and even gave us samples to make sure we liked the flavors

First day of summer, and a few other days they give away free Rita's Italian ice. Also free to service members and volunteers. Great flavor choice. Banana is awesome, try a gelati you will not regret it. Better than most ice cream shops. And hands down best italian ice around

I look forward to Rita's opening back up every year, the different flavors of italian ice are to die for. My son looks forward to the first day of spring so his summer can begin. The people who were working there were very nice also.

I personally go all the time to the Rita's on Babcock Blvd in Shaler. The woman who opens during the week is great, very professional, polite, and respectful. I would recommend a visit there to anyone!!!

Who doesn’t love Rita’s? Tons of flavors that rotate regularly with frozen custard as well! My favorite is the blue raspberry gelati. Blue raspberry Italian ice with creamy vanilla custard on top.
