We finally found a honest, reliable mechanic, close to our home, thanks to my cousins Mike and judi Bean for referring me to your mechanic Carter's garage. I totally trust this place and never had issues with my cars after being fixed. I go for my oil change after being ripped off by the 19.99 oil change places, it's worth paying the extra money for my oil being changed and I don't have to wait for hours or be harassed by the cheap oil change places, they always try to sell me a air filter which I don't need and replace it with a totally old filter, and charge me 35.00 for a 10.00 filter. I give David Carter a 5 + stars, very Happy I found this mechanic.

This is a great small family owned service station. I work close to this place and they were highly recommended by my colleagues. My colleagues were right. I find Dave the owner to be very honest, friendly and competent. He never overcharges and knows what he can and can not do. Most of the times he takes care of my auto related problems at reasonable. At time he has referred me to other providers when he knows others can provide the service cheaper. That kind of honesty is pretty rare and I commend Dave for this. This place will remain on my recommended list.

Carters Garage is by far one of the superior auto mechanics available. We use them for all of our vehicle needs. They treat you with respect and like family and do exactly what you needed done nothing more nothing less unless you request it or your vehicle really needs it. They are a long-standing family business with great core values and quality work. We have been taking our vehicles to Carters Garage since 2008 and would never take them anywhere else.

Truly stand-up group of folks. I called up late Monday afternoon with an A/C condenser fan that had just gone out. Being close to closing time, they said come on over and we'll take a look at it but might not be able to fix it till tomorrow morning.

They had the problem diagnosed with 5 minutes and a rough estimate over to me. I say rough estimate because the owner was driving to pick up a customer to get his truck from servicing and couldn't write it up until then. You don't see that kind of effort picking up customers around town from other shops. THAT shows their truly down home, respectful operating standards.

When he got back to write up my repair, he told me the extremely reasonable and honest pricing for the parts and labor. He had me come by the next morning bright and early at 7:00am. I dropped off the truck and the owner then drove me to the office so I didn't miss work. Once the part was fixed, he called me up and came back to pick me up from my office.

I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Carter's Garage. They did a bang up job getting me nice, cool Air Conditioning again and did it all at a fair and reasonable pricing, in a short turnaround(2 hours) all with the best customer experience I could've had.

The best place to get your car worked on. My son-in-law is the lead mechanic, the shop is honest and do great work at a reasonable price.

Don't hesitate to have work done here. The owner was fantastic. Respectful, professional and efficient. I came in around noon in desperate need of fresh brakes, pads, and rotors and they had me all set up and out the door by 2 or 3 in the afternoon. "The real Mccoy". Check them out.

Always reliable, honest, and courteous! I never feel intimidated or like they trying to get one over on a young girl in her 20’s. I trust them && they’ve always been good to me. I’ve taken 3 of my cars to them && I’m satisfied everytime!! They will do inspection for me then tell me the honest truth about what’s urgent and what’s not and how much time I have to get each thing fixed.. once we couldn’t figure out the problem so they said if this fixed the problem then $60 if not it’s free! This was a problem I had taken to 3 other mechanics who replaced my battery and alternator 3 times!! I come here && they say it’s just the battery wire.. and it was just the battery wire!! They didn’t make me feel silly or stupid. I’m proud to call this place my mechanic. && I refer everyone here, especially my girl friends because it’s hard not to feel used and taken advantage of at other places, but not here! U can’t understand the relief that is for a young woman trying to make it by with a young child.

Dave and Scott were excellent - very fair price, great service and helped me all they could in making a difficult situation become very fixable! I would take any mechanical issue back to them and highly recommend them! I did not know them before this problem, but feel they are friends now!

This is a great place to take your vehicle if you're in need of a car mechanic who wont overcharge or rip you off. The staff is wonderful and the work is top notch. I love this place.

You can't go wrong with this shop, family owned business for 3 generations. My neighbor owns one of the biggest auto shops in Melbourne but I usually use Carter's just because they're closer to my house. My neighbor even recommends them, even though he's a competitor! Lol

Been having a squeaking noise underneath my Crown Vic everyone told me it was nothing it was scary driving it it was a little loose hurdle are good things about this Carter garage stopped in this morning 15 minutes later had it on the lift and for a very very reasonable price was told it could be fixed didn't have time to do it today I'm bringing it in first of the week I'll let you know what happens so far they're great people and the prices seem to be very fair I would highly recommend you go there
