Marketon Supermarket

It is a good place and they treat customers very nicely. I buy most of my fruits and vegetables from this place. I recommend visiting it.

I have shopped at Marketon since the day it opened. It used to be a Raley's. It's a perfect size store and laid out simple. The prices are always fair and usually below anywhere else. The employees are helpful and courteous. The butchers always cut any special cut of meat I need. The small deli counter always has something delicious. As for not allowing backpacks, I don't know of any store that allows them.

This store is conveniently located near major intersection & main thoroughfare of Wells Ave. The prices are incredibly low! Way below reasonable! The products are fresh, especially meat. The staff are friendly and always stocking inventory. Some on this Review site complain the store doesn't allow backpack. Well, damn it, no store in Renoallows this not even 7-11!

The store is well stocked, employees all working doing their tasks, prices very reasonable and pretty friendly staff. Bought some ceviche, while it's not the most elaborate it satisfies the urge and the price is reasonable .

An adequate and fresh grocery section. The freshly prepared meals such as the tacos from the cocina were delicious, authentic, and a great value. The bakery is good, but I found some of the products a bit dry. The staff is friendly. Great prices for the center of Reno.

Only store 3 years running that was open Thanksgiving and Christmas

Friendly, clean & staff is helpful. Fresh fruits & vegetables. Delicious ready to eat food in the bakery department. Prices a bit high but worth every penny. 🤑

Neighborhood store. Serving the South Wells Neighborhoods. Very friendly, large produce section, a large meat counter a bakery, a smaller than average grocery store but more than adequate. They also serve hot food to go although today they were closed for remodeling. They just added 4 spaces in the parking lot for curbside pickup. They seem very customer oriented and there is rarely more than two or three people waiting to checkout. Years ago this was an IGA Grocery store. There was never more than three or four people there at any time. When Marketon took over it was immediately busy. Marketon has definitely improved the neighborhood.

When they have sales I love to shop here Also, I can get vegetables, fruit, laundry essentials, pastries, breakfast items at prices that doesn't break my bank. The employees are professional, courteous, friendly and very helpful. I give them a big thumbs up 👍

Ok b so here is the deal with this place its a little "seedy" and from what I've seen you can get better deals anywhere else EXCEPT FOR THE FRUIT SALES.
I look for the ad that is sent out every week on Wednesday, sometimes Tuesday, to find out what the weekly fruit sale is. There is an all week sale and there is also a Wednesday / Thursday fruit super sale~ I have gotten 6lbs of navel oranges for $1 from that sale.... eating fruit is good for you, eating foods that are good for you is COSTLY, there is no excuse for skipping fruits and veggies when this place has the sales it does.

We find here a lot of vegetables and herbs that we don't easily find at other big stores. The store is relatively smaller but packed. Sometimes they have good deals on fruits and vegetables like a few pounds for a dollar. Sometimes we find some items ridiculously expensive though. We have to stop there once a week or every two weeks.

Great store for we Latinos. I get my platanos, pasta de Guayaba, and galletas there. I'm trying some canned Cuban black beans so I'm hoping to get my fix!

Clean store easy parking. Best supermarket on Wells Ave. Did a complete walk through and this store has everything!! If you need households they got and mega food selection. You gotta check it out!

Great prices on everything in the store. Their meat counter is A-1. The selection you have to choose from is sometimes kind of overwhelming because there is so much.

A very Mexican experience, there are things we only go to Marketing to buy- dandelions for instance.

If you ever planed on going to Mexico but are afraid of getting stabbed then come to this store. This place is what I figured Mexico would look like, if it was a store. This place has Mexican, Spanish, Puerto-Rican and Brazilian products (Guaraná Antarctica and Pão de queijo) at a bom preço.
