Hampton Inn San Diego/San Marcos

Excellent experience all around. I was treated really well at checkin and breakfast. My room was spotless, and the shower was awesome.

Stayed here for a wedding, which the location was super convenient for us.
Rooms/property are due for an upgrade, but they were very clean.
Breakfast was good and was always filled as needed.
Amanda from the front desk was awesome. She helped me sort out my billing/rooming issues and was overall great. Would love to stay again

Very clean and safe property, staff was welcoming and genuinely interested in making sure we were comfortable and had everything that we needed. The 24 hr coffee service in the lobby was a great perk as well. Beds were very comfortable, we had plenty of towels and toiletries, lots of TV stations, and breakfast was filling and well maintained. Didn't use pool and hot tub, though it looked nice. The fitness room is small but had what I needed. We definitely will stay here next time we're in town. Thank you Hampton Inn staff!

This is our 2nd time staying here and we love the people that work there. Always friendly and happy. Room is perfect for my husband and I, + chihuahua. We get the 2 queen beds and are comfortable with all the amenities. This time I joined their rewards program as it seems we'll be there quite a bit to visit family. Thank you

I would call it home away from home. The staff always greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond to assure our stay was pleasant. The breakfast was good but a little more variety would have been nice.

Zylene at the check in desk is very sweet, professional and a great employee for the hotel.
She even suggested a great pizza place.
When I am in town for business I always stay here. The pool and jacuzzi is definitely a must to use.
The breakfast is always fresh and delicious!

Was an Excellent and Very Relxing experience. Loved the Breakfast done on Thursday morning. I'm Gluten free, so maybe a gluten-free option for bread would have been nice.

My stay at Hampton Inn in San Marcos was very pleasant. We where in town for a HS competition so many places where getting booked up. Price for 2 queen bed room was under $200 a night. Facilities where clean and welcoming. Pool was great. The free breakfast was above par compared to other hotels. Plenty of space to sit and eat with your family. Very deserving 5 stars.

We stayed at this hotel close to 50 nights over a 6 year period when our son was attending the university. For the price, it is a fantastic hotel. The customer service was always excellent. The rooms are pretty standard, but what you would expect for the price. Wireless was reliable, which was extremely important to us. The best thing, however, was the breakfast. Always spot on, and those ladies worked hard to pull it off. Can't say enough about David, the owner. He always bent over backwards to keep us happy.

Great hotel, needs some updating to infrastructure but room was comfortable and clean and staff was very friendly.

Very nice spot to rest and refresh. Good clean rooms and beds. Staff is helpful, when needed. Pool looks nice, though I didn't try this time. Breakfast buffet was great, waffels, eggs, bacon, juices, cereals and, needed coffee and teas. Good spot to relax and prepare for another day.

The manager and supporting staff were awesome and very understanding. I accidentally booked my hotel for San Marcos, TX, and after they saw me waiting with the 3rd party for an hour on the phone they matched my price with the TX location, and were very kind along the entire process. The hotel is extremely clean and they were great with restaurant recommendations. If you are looking for a hotel in San Marcos, CALIFORNIA, this is definitely the right place.

Great convenient location. Walking distance to the old spaghetti factory which was quite good. Nice clean comfortable bed and room in general. Friendly staff & fast checkin. Breakfast was good and their dark roast coffee was awesome. I'll stay here next time im in town for sure.

Staff was great, the grounds were clean, room was spotless and super comfortable.
I love the Hilton honors app where you can check in and get a digital key all without ever having to even go to the front desk, the app also lets you choose what room you'd like.

The Hampton Inn is great for quick business trips, The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The bathrooms are large ad include a functional tub. The all day coffee as very good and the breakfast was excellent.

Very good basic/slightly fancy hotel. Free breakfast is reasonably good. The cookies at the front desk are pretty good and a nice treat when you get in. The room was clean and the water pressure on the shower is good.

This property is centrally located for visiting all areas of interest in San Diego County, such as downtown San Diego, various harbors, parks, places of interest, the mountains and the beaches. The property present itself well, is in excellent condition and is very clean. The staff is friendly, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. It was a pleasure staying here.

Nolan has an amazing sense of customer service and will accommodate ANY need you have. The hotel is great but Nolan is greater. I can’t imagine any more properties a human being could have to make your stay better. This has been a wonderful experience even with my crazy family!

The rooms are imaculately clean and tastefully decorated. They have a pool, spa, fitness room and breakfast is served in the morning. The staff there is of a 5 star resort. They are extremely, nice, helpful and accommodating. The entire facility is prestine. Highly recommend.
