We stopped here while charging our EV in the area. Had some wraps from the counter that were really fresh! Great selection, attached to a coffee shop. Really friendly staff.

Best fresh food you can find. No chemicals no GMO.. they do an awesome job at providing in season veggies. Grocery prices are high for a family but I still get their produce and they have fresh medicinal mushrooms. Also the cafe is wonderful and I have never had anything I didn't like! Highly recommend if you're looking for healthy natural local food for yourself or family.

Super tired and getting twitchy having drove all day from D.C..( Staying off the toll roads.) Wanted something "clean" to eat. An old high school friend brought me to Roots last year. It might seem a little pricey for some products. But the quality is top notch. At least on the products I've purchased. Nice selection of gluten free items. I guess you can get a membership for 50$ but didn't dig into the details since I'm not staying too much longer in the area. Stop in and grab some take away. You'll be glad you did.they have a great selection of specialty teas. (3 for 25$)

Wow. This is a must go to if in Wooster. I had lunch here and got fresh veggies and soups and other delicious items. I had a bowl for lunch that had thin cut radishes, cilantro, red cabbage, romaine lettuce, carrots, shallots, think cucumber, seasoned chicken and a aiole sauce and it was astounding good. They also have a had crafted store attached that has hand made items from paintings ,stoneware, etc plus a coffee shop. The folks there are super nice but make sure you go there for lunch it is only served till 2 to time it right but damn

Got me some Bent Tree coffee at Local Roots today. Love this store. I always liked local before local was cool. If you haven’t been to Local Roots in Wooster, it’s worth the time to stop by and browse their eclectic offerings.

We arrived at Roots 15 minutes to closing everyone was pleasant even bought a delicious coffee. Unique store w/local artists.

I really like this place! They were the only place I could find the goat milk I was looking for, and I purchased an all natural body oil that is wonderful!

We needed a morning coffee boost, and decided to not go with the traditional chain coffee shops. We found this place on Google maps, and it surely did not disappoint. We both got iced coffee’s to go and you could tell how popular the spot was by how busy it was. The coffee was delicious and the staff was fantastic. They made my coffee fresh right in front of me with a smile on their face the entire time, great spot I would totally recommend

My kids and I thoroughly enjoy this store. If Local art and food is your thing, this is your place. We have been coming here for over three years for Linda’s Local Thyme chocolate and peanut butter cookies. They. Are. To. Die. For. Best cookie of your life!

I come here for jam every month but the Andio sisters were serving breakfast. I got the piadina!! It was amazing!!!

Local Roots has improved their services greatly since I had been there about 7 years ago. They have a wonderful selection of coffee which I bought 3 bags. It was so great! I also bought some Amish half-n-half which was all natural!(no artificial ingredients, non-GMO, and came from grass fed cow's.

The store has expanded to having a coffee shop, and they serve food items such as sandwiches. The staff was friendly and professional. There are a plethora of items available for the needs of everyone.

If you are from Wooster or out of town, come visit this store! I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Good vibes and good food!

We were visiting from out of state and grabbed some things to have in our rental for the week. Everything was amazing. What a unique and delicious selection! This place is especially great for those of us with diet restrictions like gluten intolerance, vegan, or anyone conscious of organic eating. Everyone who helped us was lovely too. It’s very clean and organized as well.

I stop here whenever I’m in the area. It is such a treat for a California-grown vegetarian to find so many wonderful options of healthy food, many produced locally here in Ohio. There are so many options for different dietary preferences. I often pick up pierogis, snacks, cereal, tea, spices and other specialty products. Staff is always kind and friendly, following health ordinances which make me feel safe. The lunch options are wonderful, and I always find another new product I want to try! And it’s so cool that they are a coop, if I lived closer I would definitely join.

If you are looking for local food, whether meat, dairy, produce, baked goods, gluten free, vegetarian, or anything in between, Local Roots has it. I love grocery shopping here and am always tempted by the fresh baked goods especially. Not limited to food though, there are always really nice handmade soaps and all kinds of arts and crafts. They also have a cafe which is great for a healthy lunch option. It's basically a high quality indoor farmer's market if you are still unsure what it's all about!
