BJ's Wholesale Club

I love this store, so much better than Costco and Sam's Club. Everyone is really friendly and I love the deli counter. Definitely not something you'll find in Sams. The deli staff are awesome as well!

I waited for the tire center to open for my appt at 9 am. After 9:15 there was still no employee. I called the store & found that the person running the tire center had a family emergency that morning, which would explain his absence. I was not the happiest camper, but Roman came to unlock the door. He apologized to me & another customer waiting. He gifted both of us a BJ’s gift card which was incredibly unexpected & kind of him. Roman, thank you for making this a great experience. I appreciate your service & will see BJ’s again soon. Excellent customer service & Roman deserves a raise!!!!

Growing up in RI my parents had a BJ's membership and a year ago, when I saw one was being built in New Albany, I was so excited! My husband and I became members as soon as we could. We love the customer service associates at this location - everyone is so helpful and lovely to interact with. The baked items and prepared foods are quite good and the value of the wholesale products are absolutely worth a membership.

BJ’s basically stays well stocked, but what I’ve experienced in the Electronics got a crazy buy on some TV’s and it appeared that they had sold out. I looked up top and spotted 4. Asked for the dept mgr. He told me he would have them pulled down by night stock and put my name on 2., I could pick up the next day after 12 noon. I wanna say his name was. HAROLD. BUT IF NOT HE KEEP HIS WORD HE WAS HELPFUL, Respectful and spot on that CUSTOMER SERVICE. !! And the price was nice but his HELP MADE IT ALL POSSIBLE 😊

The hours are convenient, 8am to 9pm. Never crowded. Good selection and consistent logical layout. Plenty of cashiers, self checkout or express pay so you can get through quickly.

Every time I go to BJ’s I have a good experience. They are not as big as Costco or Sam’s Club, but I like that. I don’t spend as much, especially with their pick up. They have coupons and great prices on meat. Every time I get a pick up, it is ready quickly and the people are so friendly. I love having a BJ’s so close to home.

I like this store. They have pretty much anything you can think of. The prices are reasonable. They even have a gas station. You should check them out.

I just want to give appreciation for Rthym. He helped me at the service desk and was very quick, professional, and helpful. This location is very calm and so far I like way better than Costco.

So glad I got my membership. It has already paid for itself, I have only shopped in the store twice, had the best fuel price I could find from Dayton, OH to New Albany, OH and I got it even cheaper with fuel points. Hands down the best option between all the bulk store like Sam's Club and Costco, in my opinion. Plus they give you awesome coupons and with a 100% money back guarantee on your membership, you really can't go wrong. Cancel your membership on day 364 out of the 365 days in the year and they will give you back the cost of your membership!

BJ’s or at least this location is as good as it gets. The employees were awesome and they accept all major credit cards unlike some other wholesale clubs and I personally prefer this over Costco or Sam’s solely on the criteria that there are not a lot of people coming in and that is nice. Overall, would definitely recommend this.

Glad to see some serious competition for Costco in the area. The excellent grocery store-like deli counter offering sliced meats and cheeses is totally unexpected! I also noticed quite a few items no longer stocked at Costco or Sam’s.

Their cafe is much smaller but like the competition they too have the loss leader $1.50 hot dog & drink combo. Same as the $4.99 3 lb rotisserie chickens. Holding firm even with our lovely 40 year inflation highs.

Overall very impressive- glad I checked it out and joined despite the greater distance from home than Costco. (My go-to for more than 20 years. Sam’s, not so much…)

I like BJs, but I feel like Costco & Sam's are more convenient for me. However, if you don't want to renew your membership to one of the other ones, BJs is a good option. I think that I got a membership deal where I paid $40, but we received $40 back on our 1st trip! So far, I have had good experiences there.

BJ’s in New Albany, OH has the very best pickup. They are so nice, efficient and go out of their way to help. Thank you!!!!

Nice alternative to Sam's Club and Costco, particularly living in New Albany.

They grocery section has sizes better suited for smaller families or individuals. Selection is on par with the other clubs.

Well organized displays and friendly staff. They have long-time employees from other locations here to help ensure a smooth opening and train staff.
Load coupons to your membership online or with the app, and when your card is scanned at checkout, the coupons work just fine.
Also there are lots of free samples Fri-Sat-Sun of opening weekend, so you can graze as you explore.

My wife's glasses needed repaired (quickly) and at 5:30 pm I rushed into the optical department at BJ's. I wasn't expecting the results I received that late in the day, and especially since they hadn't been purchased at BJ's. However, I had the great, good fortune to be greeted by Bambi Avey, whom I believe is the manager of the Optical Shop, and if she isn't, she should be! Fifteen minutes later the glasses are repaired and I'm on my way without any charge and free cleaning cloths and case. Bambi, you are rare in this day and age of employees who have little or no interest in providing high level customer service. You have earned my family as customers, and I thank you for your superb service.

BJs is new to our city. We bought a membership for $55 and received a $40 gift card in return. There are 3 Costco's in our area and this store is very similar..except for the crowds. BJs has a great selection, very friendly and helpful staff. The selection is just as good as Costco. A big difference for me is its location. Easy to get in and out and right off the freeway. I'm very impressed and look forward to shopping there regularly.

I did a drive by first and then made the time to visit. The handicap parking is definitely a plus. I have several handicap family members and BJ's definitely put some thought into the parking lot. We were like 5th in line and I'm eyeballing everything I ca before signing up for the membership. I see a sign that says 50 % off. First, I saw a purple shirt. I had no clue. It was a Gloria Vanderbilt purple plaid for $42. No way I'm paying that much for a shirt. But wait! It's half off. Now I'm thinking 21 isn't so bad🤣 Get up to the membership desk, after signing up; it's scanned for $7.00😁 . I'll take it. Tyvm💜💜

Husband got a job there so we went to look for a nice planter arrangement for a friend who lost a loved one and to show what they offered. It is a new store and they had similar items and similar prices as Sam's Club. Nice clean store and the employees were friendly. I will go back for some items and try some different items.

I had an issue upgrading my membership and went to BJ’s new Albany. The staff was very helpful and I felt taken care of. Thank you for your time and willingness to help!
