Jackson Rhodes Series Flying V:
Bridge was constantly raising up, drove around NW Ohio, and nobody knew what was wrong. Tony took a look and fixed the problem by restringing it and made some adjustments. Very affordable!! Thanks Tony!!!

I really like this shop. Reminds me a lot of the old Peeler Music. Maybe not so much in size and inventory, although they have a great selection, but in the experience. They have everything from high-end Les Pauls to inexpensive starter guitars. Prices are better than competitive. I walked away with a Gretsch that has some serious MOJO. This will be a store that I stop in at regularly.

Brought in my Squier CV 60’s Jazz Bass to get the frets leveled.

Wow!! Kevin their technician did a top notch job on it top to bottom. Action was set way lower than I usually have it and I was blown away by its playability. To know that I can have that much margin in my action height with no buzzing is fantastic and gives me confidence in changing it to accommodate anything from rock to slap to lighter, quicker touch runs.

I appreciate that though mine isn’t a top dollar instrument, Kevin put in the time to prioritize getting my instrument done and doing it so well. Not just the frets, but the tuners and control plate glistened. The whole neck played with an ease I didn’t know it was capable of.

I stuck around to check out some compressor pedals (good used selection) and the staff was courteous and informative. Ben set me up with an amp and a few pedals to try and gave me space to just sit with ‘em and see what felt good.

It’s a bit of a drive for me, but I’ll be coming back for any future instrument care or pedal needs in the future!

I think Heights is the best guitar shop in Toledo. The staff is super laid back. The tech is amazing. There's always cool gear in there, whether it's an amp, an instrument, a pedal ... even speakers and pickups, there's always something cool there.

Went to Heights for the first time recently. My new favorite place to buy a guitar!

I spent hours looking for a guitar at other places. How well a guitar plays, how fast the action is, etc is all very important. Most places don't even do an a set-up on their guitars. Instead they try to sell that to you once you buy the guitar. The result is you have no idea how well the guitar plays until after you buy it and pay them $100 to do a set-up on it.

At heights their guitars all have set-ups completed on them and you can get a much better idea of how well they play. It appears even their new guitars have set-ups done. I picked up a new Jackson guitar recently and it plays like a dream without paying the $100 set-up cost most places charge.

In fact I have been to heights 3 times in the last month and walked out with a new guitar all 3 times. I bought a guitar the first time for my son who wanted to join Jazz club. I was so impressed that I went back the next weekend and bought one for myself. Then I stopped back a few days later to buy a case for my guitar after I got paid, and saw a guitar I liked even better than the one I had bought, so I traded for it. They gave me an even swap for the guitars since they were the same price. I couldn't believe it. Most places I would have had to throw some money in to do the trade I am sure.

I also took one of my old guitars in that had 2 dead frets on the high e string. They took one look at it and new exactly what was wrong. Quick 5 minute fix.

Love this store, these guys are awesome. I will be back to add to my guitar collection in the future.

This is my favorite music store in the world. It's always full of surprises. 80 percent of their inventory is used and their is a constant rotation. You never know what you might find. The staff are good. Very knowledgeable. Not arrogant like some of the big chain music stores. Definately worth a visit. I live in Canada and venture there 3 or 4 times a year.

Dan the manager was great! My band was playing at the German American Festival and my guitar electronics stopped working. I took it and Dan had it fixed within an hour! Saved me that weekend! He even put new strings on the guitar and all of it for a GREAT price! Would highly recommend this place!!

Super chill & way amazing store and staff!!! Good selection of instruments, store has an awesome layout with a laid back atmosphere. They also buy, sell & and (fairly certain) trade. Which makes it perfect for tracking down rare, unique or hard to find items. Definitly recommend stopping here as opposed to Guitar Center!!!

Awesome staff, very helpful and friendly. I go in there to browse their selection almost once a week to check for any new good deals and they've always been very courteous. Bought a 4x12 guitar cabinet the other day and they even helped me load it in the car without me needing to ask. Great store.

I live in a travel trailer and brouse around all over the country. Most towns, I check out the guitar stores... you never know what you might find.

Google Maps "guitar stores near me" found me Heights Guitars. Stopped in, they had really reasonable prices on used and new guitars, and on everything else - and there is a HUGE selection of new and used equipment. Try out anything in the store. Had a fun blues jam with two other customers and the owner, found some cable adapters I had been searching for - inexpensive.

I could rave on. The more you look the more you find. A Great Store.
