DR. Akers has done wverything for the fur babies of my household for the last five years. She has done everything from routine care to life saving emergency surgery. She is both fair in price and always giving of high quality care. Her and her team are patient and deserve the highest praise! They are assets to our community and to families of fur babies under their care. Thank you!

I want to especially thank Mark. I recently experienced a tragedy in my family and Mark was very kind and caring when he talked to me about it and asked about it (while also excellently taking care of my cats that I brought in).

He was very genuinely concerned and that truly meant a lot to me.

Empathy and being genuine is not common these days. Appreciate their whole team. Always worth the wait for expert care. Providing services for the community nobody else is because they believe in making a difference.

Dr. Akers and her staff are exceptional. We took our service dog Harley in to see her. It was our first time there and we went during walk-in hours. It was very busy but her staff was very friendly. We saw Dr. Akers and explained his symptoms and that we were very concerned because he lost 7 lbs in a week and was vomiting. She treated him and said, "Bring him back the next day( even though it was her surgery day and didn't see patients on surgery day)." I knew we brought him to the right vet right then and there. She examined him again treated him and said an ultrasound would be best ( she didn't do the x-ray which wouldn't cost me over $100.00)and to call her in the morning to tell her how he was doing. I called and said he wasn't any better. She told me where to go for the ultrasound. After all was said and done, it was determined that an ultrasound wouldn't give us any answers other than what we already suspected. Harley was 1 month away from being 13, and he was at the end of the road. I made the call to get an appointment to see Dr. Akers on Thursday. The girl at the desk told me they are only open a half day and walk ins only. I explained that Harley was at the end of the road and we needed to put his suffering to an end. She immediately said to bring him in at 11:30. Hopefully, most of the people will be cleared out. I was beyond grateful. I checked him in and filled out the necessary papers. The staff was comforting, kind, and empathic. Dr. Akers came into the room, and we talked about his condition and that it was time to let him go. She said that we were very intune with his condition and did the very best we could for him. She asked if we wanted to stay to the end. We said absolutely. We couldn't let Harley go by himself. Dr. Akers explained everything that would take place. Dr. Akers and her staff were so caring and thoughtful. I chose to have Harley cremated, and his ashes returned to me, and they did a paw print in clay for us. This is something that every pet owner will go through ( I have 2 more dogs and 1 cat)in their life and when this painful situation happens, Dr Akers and her staff are beyond top notch not just for this situation but for standard appointments. The level of care and compassion you simply don't find other places. Thank you Dr Akers for helping Harley cross the Rainbow Bridge. She was also wonderful in taking care of our rescue cat, Momma.

I got a Sphynx last summer 2021 that passed only 2 months after I got him. I finally got my replacement almost a year later. Took him in to be checked out, the staff and Dr was very nice and polite. Took my dog in twice this month also Blanco.. wish I knew about them sooner I been driving to mount Gilead the past 6 yrs, only 4 mins from me.. my kitten and dogge are doing so much better. Love the walk in

Couldn’t recommend this place enough. The walk-in times can make you wait awhile, but it was absolutely worth it. Dr.Akers gets right to the point while remaining kind. Thank you for your hard work, and thank you for making your walk ins so accessible.

Walk in appointments are very convenient but you can also schedule select times. The veterinarians are well experienced and very knowledgeable. Excellent staff and they really care about your pets

Dr. Jody is one of the best around. Besides being a wonderful person, she is a skilled veterinarian that is practical and compassionate in her care for both animal and owner. I drive one hour each way so that my Littles have care from the best!

Our dog scobbie loves it here and she cares for the pets. My wife and I drive an hour each way with our little Doxie Scooby we know he will always get the best of care and her dedication is very much appreciated David and Betty hopkins

They were great, gave very honest opinions and helped to keep my little one safe instead of just selling me stuff. They have walk in hours which in a pinch is a life saver

I called for a friend, who was saying goodbye to her senior cat, receptionist was really nice and explained everything gently and kindly. They ended up handling everything very well. Definitely recommend, they seem genuinely caring for animals and their families.

I am here from out of town and have my cat with me, he was experiencing some health concerns so i was recommended here after calling every single vet office in the area since the closest Emergency was in Columbus. Thought I'd try here first since they had walk-in hours. I am so grateful i could cry. Yes I had to wait a long time, but when i saw the love and care that all the staff did for my cat and for all the others coming in, my heart was full. All the staff here are so loving and attentive. My cat who is normally a nervous wreck, showed his true loving self within minutes with all the vet techs. He was such a little flirt with them. I can't tell you how much i would recommend this place to others if i could. The Doctor was the best veterinarian i have encountered in such a long time. She was so attentive and showed true concern for my cat. I am so incredibly grateful and happy to have found this place.

Very friendly and reasonably priced. I love the walk-in times since I work 2nd shift it makes it very convenient!! My boy Si had a mass on his neck that they removed and he’s doing better than ever! We didn’t realize how much it was affecting his everyday life until we got it removed. Thank you all for your work and love that you show each one of your fur babies!!
