Southgate Hotel & Tiki Lounge

Ladies at the Tiki Lounge are ALWAYS amazing people to talk with and so friendly, and make you feel at home!
The rooms are clean, but we had no room service the whole time we were there. Guy at the front desk told us he would have room service come and take out our trash and bring us fresh towels, but, nobody came.

Thank you so much for the hospitality I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff at front desk guy is really awesome they were really helpful and friendly the kind of services I received is awesome the amities that they are providing is awesome. I would highly recommend for your happy stay.

Me my old man & daughter & son stayed here after driving a good while to come check out a truck to pull our camper but it ended up not working out & it snowed so we stayed here for 2 days to figure out what we was going to do now & hopefully find a truck to pull a fifth wheel. It's a pretty decent spot there's a lot to offer the rooms are pretty decent size & there's a mcdonalds that's literally 100 ft away there's guest laundry ice/vending game room & a lil gym with 2 tred mills & 2 bikes & a TV & scale seasonal pool so if your here on the summer time you can swim there's plenty of rooms & there's a lil nice lounge bar to go relax & play pool if your alone. We enjoyed it you will too also there's WiFi so your connected!! Easy access to the highway. Easy online booking rooms & easy check in the front desk was very welcoming & helpful so Come check in you won't regret it. We enjoyed it I'm sure you will too!!

It is located close to a variety of restaurants and really close to the freeway and has easy access to service stations and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable, the front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, I will be staying here again soon.

I know this doesn't count, but my lost s necklace that was a Christmas present, never thought it would be found let alone turned in but it was, returned and restored her faith in humanity! Thank you to all that helped make this happen

I haven't stayed in the rooms in a long time, but the staff and the conference rooms are awesome. They try to accommodate everything needed to make your event special. Also, stop in the bar for a few great drinks and at times live entertainment.

I have to give a great big Thank you to the Southgate Hotel. We help a free "clinic" on credit for the local people to learn and talk about how credit works and how to fix or build their credit. Not only did they try to make sure it was set up nicely for us and do everything they could to let people know. They helped us on cost so we could keep the training free.
On top of that, Carla at the bar makes some great drinks, so you have to stop in there too.

Loved it there. Had live band on certain nights. Never any drama . Great staff and welcoming people. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Great little town

I left some belongings behind and they set them aside for me to pick up later. They are very honest. The hotel is a bit older but its extremely clean and the beds are super comfortable. It was also very quiet. No complaints here!

I love the tiki lounge bar. Carla is the heart and soul of this place. You always feel welcome and have fun when she's working. ❤...

have stayed here on business trips - nice place, good staff. Even if you are not staying here The Tiki lounge is worth a stop into!

This is an independently owned non chain hotel. It is an older establishment that is well maintained, and modernized. My room was clean and comfortable. I will stay here again any time I am in the area.

We loved Carla and Jenna at the Tiki Bar! We checked into a few doors down but quickly decided to stay at Southgate instead. Recommend!!

Great location. Right off the highway. . Great value. Very clean. Very comfortable bed and the pillows are the best. Most of all, very friendly. Did I mention that it was very clean. There is a McD's literally a few steps away. Also a good 6 or 8 other restaurants of any kind of dinning you want. Sheetz right across the road, as well as a shopping center.. Save some$$.

Safe location, close to places to eat. It may look a bit shabby, but you can tell they are keeping the place up while keeping the price low. The towels were nice and fluffy. Plenty of electrical outlets for charging devices. Cheerful and friendly staff. Good place to find late at night when you are too tired to keep driving!

While the hotel may not have five star amenities, I would definitely give it five stars in relation to the price. It was very clean and quiet. The location is very good. All staff was very helpful and amicable. The tiki bar was bizarrely welcome and entertaining. I highly recommend this place to anyone just looking for a quick stop on their way through.

Had a great time at the Tiki Lounge. Carla really made the experience, awesome personality and made you feel at home. We will be back!!

This is an older hotel but it is clean, somewhat updated. I would stay here again. There is no breakfast but Bob Evans and Denny's are very close.
