The Home Depot

I've shopped at Home Depot for over 20 years for various home items. Aside from all the shopping I have done, I have recently been most impressed by the employees. Today, I toured Home Depot with my adult vocational group of students to learn about different jobs at Home Depot. We randomly spoke with about 8 employees from various departments. Every person took the time, was kind, informative, patient with our questions and even showed us how some of the big machinery works. Every employee from 4 months to 20 some years of working at Home Depot, spoke highly of the company, and said that they enjoyed their jobs there. We were all very impressed. Thanks to the employees today who made our tour amazing!

Al was the most helpful person I have ever met. When I walked into the store and passed him he has a huge smile on his face, little did i know I would need his assistance buying a bathroom vanity that was out of stock in Clifton Park. He helped me pick it out and was the most kind and knowledgeable gentleman. Thank you Al! More should be like you!

The associates were extremely helpful,When I had a portable welding business I was contracted to replace four feet of the tube stock columns outside the store that had split open from the condensation building up inside and then freezing, you can't even tell where the columns were welded back together...

Updated rating after reaching out to the store. Great customer service provided by them. Allowed me to swap out the door for a new one. Turned a bad experience into a great one. Thanks goes out to Matt who went above and beyond.

Had 2 doors delivered from this store yesterday 10/4/2019. One of the doors is fine and has cardboard on the corners to prevent damage, this one however, did not. You can see that it was damaged during packing/delivery and they delivered it anyway. I would like to think the employees would see this and think "Would I install that on my house?" It was clear that thought did not enter their heads before they proceeded to ship it off. Neither my wife or I have a truck so returning this to the store is not an option. Be careful with online ordering. As Forest Gump would say "You never know what your gonna get".

I visited the Saratoga NY store and was really pleased with multiple aspects. Store was clean, employees were helpful and yet not aggressive in trying to ask you if you need assistance. Checkout was fast, way, and just great actually. Yet probably amongst my best experience was seeing a working store manager. I didn't know he was the store manager until afterwards, only tip off I received was the way he was dressed. However he had his "utility belt" on ready for anything. He had his gloves, knife, scanner, and etc.. He had reminded me of myself when I was running retail stores. He wasn't afraid to get dirty and do what he expected of his employees. You can also see he was respected, as the employees didn't run away when he was near or hide, they actually spoke an had a few giggles so to speak. It's rare to see this still today.
Another great aspect of the store was everything I looked at was priced, clean, and we'll stocked and faced. I didn't find any faults with this store, and I'm usually one to always find something. Today was a good day for Saratoga!

It's a Home Depot, staff there are friendly and helpful. I go in for 1 thing and come out with 10 things somehow. As much as my wallet wants me to avoid the place I keep coming back for more. I've even gone in to "just look around" and failed miserably.

This is the best Home Depot ever. I know a guy from Albany who drives up to this Home Depot because it's so great. Someone will always help you find something or give you fix it advice. Always trust Bob in paint. They don't have tool rental unfortunately. Your dog is always welcome! PS: I know several people who tell me that they drive from Albany with their whole family just to go to this Home Depot - they make a day trip of it - because it's so much better than all the rest in our area!

BEST HOME DEPOT LOCATION!!! I will always pick this location over all others. From the time you walk in the door you will be greeted by knowledgeable-friendly staff. Johnny I believe his name is always goes above and beyond to be sure I find all I am looking for. Whenever I go in I specifically look for him because his knowledge in all departments is impeccable.

I needed a 1/2" box wrench for a snowblower repair but all 1/2" wrenches were sold out except wrench sets and ratchet versions, neither of which I really needed. The store rep for the tool dept went out of his way to ask me a bunch of questions for what I really needed and why, and he gave me the ratchet version for the price of the standard 1/2" box wrench because he had none of what I needed anywhere in the store. Very much appreciated, and I will pay this kindness forward. Great store, great employees.

The Home Depot is a great go to store for all your home improvement needs. This particular location has some really great employees who know what they are talking about. The store tends to always have what I need in stock and that’s a big plus.

Very clean, awesome staff. My husband and I visit the Home Depot alot and we've never had a bad experience. I've had a few house plants die but I've finally learned that basically all of them do because they become accustomed to the Home Depot's environment and when they leave that they just die. Every question we've ever asked has been answered, we've never had a problem trying to find things because of the awesome staff. I love the end of season sales, we've gotten some really nice seasonal decorations that way.

The first Home Depot in my life that I want to rate on google and I would give them even more than 5 stars! :)

Ordered a grill online for curbside pickup. The grill was damaged when we arrived for pick up. However Mitch at the customer service desk and another associate quickly resolved the situation and found another grill in a box undamaged. Best home depot experience I've had.

Home Depot a great big box hardware store to go to. They have literally anything you're looking for in regards to Home Improvement. Employees are nice friendly helpful and willing to go out of their way to make sure you find what you're looking for. I love Going Home Depot I think you will too

Having difficulty picking the correct bulbs for our home, two employees helped us understand the choices. We feel we purchased the right bulbs.

Amazing place, Bought a compass here and it worked like a charm. Very nice people here to help you find your hardware supplies. I would definitely be coming back for more supplies.
