What a great experience! It's not cheap, we were lucky to be able to splurge for it this visit, but unlike hotels where you pay an arm and a leg just for location, here you get the great location plus amazing service and a really nice and well equipped apartment. The staff were so friendly and helped us even with random requests we had. The apartment was very clean, had everything we needed and was much bigger than we expected. The check in was so easy and everything just worked well. We really hope to be able to return!

My stay here gave me the experience of truly living in New York City. I didn't feel as though I was in a hotel. I felt it was my own NYC apartment. The customer service was AMAZING. Very clean, safe, spacious, and EXTREMELY affordable, considering this place is in lower Manhattan in the Financial District with close proximity to the Wall Street subway, food, and stores. I did not want to leave. Great for kids too. Perfect is the word I would use to describe my experience.

We worked with Candice (Sales Manager) to book a block of rooms for our wedding. Candice was fantastic to work with and so accommodating to/on-top-of our many changes. Thank you Candice making wedding planning a little stressful!

The guests all loved the rooms and were very impressed by how spacious they are. I would highly recommend Mint House!

Talk about a gem of a hotel. What seems to be a converted office, the rooms were large, well decorated and comfortable. Staff was quick to answer and get us squared away. Tucked in the financial district with a quality gym, made it easy to get to and from the office we were at and not feel like I was leaving out of a suitcase.

BEST. HOTEL. EVER. No, really. Superbly clean, modern, and spacious. This is not your standard hotel room- it’s more of the apartment we all wish we could afford in NYC when we were young and single before kids…but now we can afford to stay there with kids because it’s actually somehow cheaper than all the other hotels that are half as nice. It’s so clean we didn’t even check for bed bugs (okay, we did- but none were to be found, not even a stray hair left behind from a previous resident). The staff is friendly and accommodating- maintenance was at our door to reset the AC within 5 minutes. Furnishings are cute and contemporary with a minimalist flair. There’s even a record player and a selection of records at the front desk. Perfect amount of space for our family of five. Our kids thought we were living in the lap of luxury, and we kind of were. Our suite had 2 FULL BATHROOMS for crying out loud- mind blown. Location is excellent- the 2/3 train is a 30 second walk from the hotel doors, with another station around the corner. A grocery store, coffee shop, healthy fast casual restaurant, trendy bar and a gym are all housed in the same building. The best dumplings you’ll ever have are right around the corner at Goku Kitchen. And guys, it’s so quiet here and the bed is actually comfortable. Seriously, perhaps the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in, EVER. Zero complaints. I will never stay anywhere else when I’m in NYC (which is not often, but still). In a world full of disappointments, this hotel is a SHINING STAR. 100/10 would recommend!

Having lived in FiDi for several years and returning regularly for work, I cannot speak highly enough about Mint House and their front desk, in particular. Robbie and team were just fantastic, and helped me out with a room on the spot when a hotel around the corner had double-booked and cancelled my reservation without letting me know. The team were so helpful, the rooms are spotless and so spacious, and you can’t ask for a better location downtown. Thanks Robbie and team - I will always choose Mint House as my preferred downtown hotel from now onwards! If I could give more than five stars, I would.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Mint house. The location is superb. Very close to the subway and Whole Foods. Everything was squeaky clean. The room was HUGE. Very specious, especially for nyc. It also included a speaker, a big tv, watermelon water, abundance of teas and coffee, a mini fridge, a kettle and a microwave, and most importantly- black out curtains. What more do you need for a good stay?
One thing that I would like to see improved for my next arrival is the daily cleaning. The cleaning lady was sweet, but even though we gave her a 20$ tip she still wasn’t wiping the dust that would gather on the surfaces during our weak long stay. She would just change the towels and tidy up the bed.

Definitely coming here again!!

We wanted a larger space to stay in and this place was perfect. 2 large sized bedrooms, both large enough for our toddlers pack n play bed as well as our dogs travel bed. The living/dining/kitchen was also nice size. The unit also had its own washer and dryer which was much needed for us. Lots of closet space for you to use. The bathroom had good pressure and temperature, but the vent/fan did not work.

Kitchen was fully stocked, there is a small supermarket in the building that you can use to stock or let them know ahead of time and they will stock your fridge. We cooked everyday for breakfast and sometimes for dinner.

Living room had a large pull out couch and 2 comfortable chairs. The TV oddly was smaller than the ones in the bedrooms, but it uses roku and has a lot of channels. We had a corner suite on the 6th floor so there was good lighting for us.

Bedrooms each had a large sized TV and windows. The large one had a safe for you to place your valuables in. Bed was comfortable, but we found the pillows to be softer than we would've liked.

The suite was well maintained and very clean. We used wipes to wipe down surfaces where our toddler would likely eat off of and it was very clean.

The building itself is so so beautiful. It houses multiple restaurants, a bar and a coffee shop. Check in was easy and access to the elevator and room is by pin which we had no issues with.

The surrounding area is quieter than where we would previously stay. Its NYC so there are restaurants all around. It was nice to be able to walk to parks and playgrounds. The red line was across the street from us and the green line was a short walk away.

The negative is... pine street is a tight one lane street and there is nowhere to pull over to unload your car. Because of this, you will hear honking throughout the day as drivers get frustrated with taxis and ubers dropping people off. The street behind the hotel is 2 lanes, but unfortunately the doors there are exit only. Parking is also not valet at the door, but it is close by, we did not use this.

Overall, we loved the space. Especially with a dog and a toddler who likes to wander around. The building lobby was a great place for them to do that. Price point wise, it was the most we paid to stay in NYC, likely would not return because of this... but that is more based on our finances rather than what this hotel offers.

We did a family trip to NYC with our kids to check out the typical tourist sites for a week. Location of Mint House is great to walk lower Manhattan, or jump on a Subway. At check in, the desk the was incredibly helpful an welcoming. The unit was spacious, modern, and very clean. Really cool amenities like pour over coffee, LP player, and a fully stocked kitchen for cooking and daily eating in. Daily refreshes provided linens and most consumables (including really good coffee from the third wave shop downstairs). There was a late party in the unit next to us one night, but the management dealt with it and made it right.

Large beautiful room with an updated kitchen located in a cool art deco building. Great location for us as we have family in Brooklyn - 2 subway stops away. There is a subway entrance right across the street from the hotel. City market is located on the lower floor and there is a nice coffee shop plus 3 other restaurants in the building. Perfect for a longer stay in NYC.

Enjoyed my stay here. This apartment style room was nice and had more space than most hotel rooms. It was clean and the location was convenient for using the ferry.

Good evening, All I didn't say at the hotel was that I actually was working security for a high corporate person. The ambiance, as well as too the area, is very safe and clean. In fact, there's a residential building in the same building with three restaurants, Crown Shy, SAGA, and Over Story.
You wouldn't be disappointed at all. Just ask for Mary-Gracie or Francisco make sure to let them know Juju sent you.
Best Regards,
Julien, aka Juju

The room condition was clean and convenient. It was so cozy that my family didn't want to go out. I love the building has a supermarket and a cafe. The staffs and services were also super nice. The requests by the app took some time to start chatting but the actions were fast enough. The location was also great. Everywhere in lower Manhattan is in ten minutes walking. The stay was absolutely good!

Our new go-to when visiting NYC, largest rooms I've ever had in the City. Secure, clean, comfortable, friendly staff, full kitchen, record players. .don't pass up! Located in a mix use historic building with a coffee shop on site, rooftopbar...walk to restaraunts. Away from the bustle of Time Square but only a short Uber cab ride away. We loved it!

I’ve stayed at Mint House a couple times now and it definitely holds a special place in my heart. The rooms are similar to mini apartments, with especially comfortable beds, bedding, and pillows.
The rooms also have kitchenettes, a couch, a small dining / work table, what you need to make great coffee, solid bathrooms … all great for a multi-day stay (unless you’re looking for a great view of the city from your room … I haven’t stayed in a room there that had that yet).

And, the last time I stayed, I presented a concern and Robert promptly made it right without my even asking, which was much appreciated. ☺

I’d highly recommend Mint House, especially if you care about bed and bathroom comfort.

Great apartments, we would book and recommend it again anytime!

+ friendly and fast check in
+ Laundry room (we were lucky that it was right on our floor)
+ Large, clean, modern room. Well equipped kitchen, dishwasher available, comfortable large bed
+ Plenty of pillows and hand/bath towels
+ daily housekeeping

- Heating is loud when it's running, you need a bit of practice to get it right so that it doesn't wake you up at night. But we got the hang of it after 1-2 days.

Really nice place to stay in Lower Manhattan. Quiet. Room was a great size and even had a record player and speaker! Bathroom was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. The building has a huge fitness center and even a Bowling Alley and golf simulator. At first I thought maybe this place would be more like an air b&b apartment based on the way it was marketed but it really is a hotel complete with in room toiletries. Definitely recommend!
