I had seen this place a lot and I finally decided to stop in. The staff were kind and gave great service, the food was delicious and pretty good portions. I got the fish tacos, they had a nice spicey zing to them, which I like, but it wasn't overbearing and you could still taste everything else. 10/10 would recommend if in the acton area.

We were there when they first opened. Quickly seated and our waited was instantly with us actually he was so attentive. 5 stars just for him alone. Food was great, too!! Nachos and the steak fajitas. Big portions!

The food was so good, kid friendly, attentive and sweet waitress. Really cool atmosphere with booths of dark wood, TV's you can see sports playing but the volume is off.

Great food, great service. Tom (our waiter) told us a bunch of “dad” jokes making me think of my late father fondly. I had the open steak sandwich and my friend had the fish tacos. Delicious. Portions are large and we shared our dessert. Just wish there was a little less ice cream and more apple crisp. But still very good, too big for two women to finish.

My favorite dining spot in the valley, and ever since I have moved from Somerville, over 9 years ago, I dine at Crossroads virtually every day.I go every Sunday for the roast turkey dinner, thinly carved fresh white meat, mashed potatoes, stuffing that I die for, gravy and a side of gravy.

This week, Turkey and Chicken pot pie's were added to the special menu; they were so good filled with carrots, peas, celery and big chunks of fresh meat, accompanied with a side of mashed potatoes. Awesome dishes.

Don’t forget to ask for your Ukrainian hostess,

Come tonight for the chicken pot pie special, best ever served by Matt, a great waiter.

First time here with an old friend. Judy was great very attentive and personal, the food was very good and I loved the sound track playing! Will definitely be back. We visited for an extended period of time and we're very comfortable.

Best steaks and prime rib anywhere. Also, full roast turkey dinner with stuffing, mashed potatoes and carrots. Best gravy anywhere!

Crossroads cafe in Acton is like the Pleasant Cafe in Roslindale and the Hilltop steakhouse in Saugus had a sweet love child and stashed it away in scenic Nagog Park to keep the society ladies from knowing the truth about their torrid love affair.

The spacious and classic dining room is reminiscent of the old and now gone Hilltop steak house, with tall booths and dark wood and rugs. The bar was built in the classic post prohibition era style, with mirrors, gorgeous brass speed racks, and low boy steel coolers.

I’ve tried quite a few things on the well rounded and extensive menu and keep going back to the steak tips. Some other stand outs include the salmon burger, the meatball appetizer with its ribbons of pasta, the scampi appetizer, and the Caesar salad, which they subbed out tomatoes for croutons per my strange request. Their house made Italian dressing is noticeably better than your run of the mill restaurant staple ken’s, no shade to Ken. They also somehow have the fizziest soda of all of the local restaurants. I don’t think they serve from soda city, and that’s a rare bird, folks. They don’t have pizza like the pleasant, but the aesthetic and preservation of mid century bar culture is there. The bartenders carry themselves like they are always wearing bowties, but they are not.

Speaking of the mirrors, I’d recommend any of the drinks printed on them, especially if you like anything spirit forward. The bartender didn’t even have to look up what was in a Spanish coffee.

Service is friendly and consistent, and takes an average amount of time for a normally paced leisurely meal. If you want something faster, go to Denny’s or the like.

It’s a great place to catch a game or enjoy a meal or some apps and drinks. I’m not sure if the owner, who can usually be found table side cracking jokes, has actually known everybody there for 20 years, but he treats you like he has. It’s a shame to think that within the next few years they’re gonna pave paradise and put up a parking lot, but don’t it always seem to go that you don’t know what you’ve got til it’s gone. I can’t be the only one excited for another Acton car dealership. In the interim, be sure you can catch me at the crossroads.

Excellent food & service. Never had a bad experience there ever. Great place.
Very busy tonight. Food was good, only 2 bartenders to take care of the waitstaff drinks, high top tables in the lounge & bar. They are good but couldn't get to customers in a timely manner. Need more help.

I've been coming here my whole life, and it's always been a favorite. As a true staple of the Acton community, the friendly staff and homey atmosphere combined with some excellent food make for a great experience every visit. My personal favorites are the boneless buffalo wings, the French dip, the au poivre burger, and the steak au poivre, but everything I've ever tried here has been great, so it's really hard to go wrong.

They also have a large bar area, so it's a fun place to meet up with a few friends to watch the game.

Great salmon burgers, onion rings and drinks. Steaks are legendary. Warm, welcoming atmosphere. My family's favorite. Fellow community chorus members gather here after rehearsal at high tables behind a partition that separates the bar section and which my kids would never go to. Consistently excellent service on both sides over many years.

Hometown kinda place with a big menu full of tasty offerings. Our party enjoyed the scallops, salmon, liver and onions (!) and I had wedge salad with crispy chicken. Hit the spot! Warm greetings from the staff and owner made us feel welcome and at home.

Much better than your average "pub". Food is great. Service staff are cheerful and quick. We've eaten here many, many times over the past 20 years, and I realized I never gave a review! It's a busy place, but we can usually find a spot in the bar, and there are over 10 TVs with sports on.

I dine here frequently with family, friends and clients. The steaks are fantastic, the appetizers delicious (too many to call out here). The amenities are great - hot bread, soups to die for, real buttery mashed potatoes, firm vegies... excellent) I've never had a bad meal or poor service. I would highly recommend this place for just about any occasion.
