Burdett House Bed & Breakfast

Ashley and Dave have a wonderful B&B. They are centrally located to explore the Finger Lakes region of NY. The Roosevelt room was very nice and their breakfasts were awesome! They were both extremely helpful with suggestions of places to see and offered awesome reviews of the nearby restaurants. All in all they made our experience very enjoyable! Highly recommended!!

This wonderful bed and breakfast was our home base for five nights as we explored the Finger Lakes region. Ashley and Dave were the most gracious of hosts, offering suggestions for the area, not-to-miss wineries and breakfasts to die for. With the convenient location to not only Ithaca, but the wineries we wanted to visit and the restaurants on our list, we were able to cover a lot of ground during our time there. Thank you, Ashley and Dave, for making our first visit to the Finger Lakes an enjoyable trip!

The host couple were so kind to me and my Wife. We loved the rooms rustic theme and the breakfast options were delicious. Even got a surprise homemade scorn appetizer. They offered detail local traveling and events, as well as provided maps and extended handwritten leads for seasonal adventures. They were from New York City, but far more knowledgeable about upstate New York and what is available

We stayed at Burdett House this past weekend for our Anniversary and it was the best choice!! This was our first B/B experience and our hosts Ashley and David were delightful and went above and beyond for us. Their recommendations of places to visit were spot on, the homemade breakfasts were yummy and the conversation was appreciated. The place is charming—spotless, cozy and in a great location to nearby activities. We will definitely stay again!!

Wonderful! We stayed in the Excelsior Room. I got the romance package and the bubbly, flowers and chocolate covered strawberries were perfect. Great location- close to Watkins Glen and also many great wineries and breweries. Also not too far from Ithaca. Great hikes and waterfalls in both areas. Breakfast was delicious each morning and very accommodating to dietary needs. We would love to come back and definitely recommend to friends and family!

There aren’t enough positive things to say about the Burdett B&b, Ashley, Dave and their adorable manager Hudson. You can see from the second you pull into the drive way how much care and love has gone into this place. The property is immaculate, all of the rooms are adorable, from the game room to the coffee, tea, treat area. The Knickerbocker was very comfortable, so relaxing and the shower pressure to die for! Ashleys breakfasts are delicious (her pancakes are the best I’ve ever had). Ashley is a true inspiration in every way. I can’t wait to go back!

The Burdett House was absolutely lovely. Would definitely come back. Ashley and Dave were very kind and helpful and loved their sweet dog Hudson. The room was spotless
and tastefully decorated. Really loved that they had a choice of breakfast options. It was difficult to choose. They all were fantastic!!

The Best Bed and Breakfast we have ever been. Owners, Ashley and David are wonderful people, they take care of their guests in a most amazing way. If you want to feel special and have a great experience, that’s your place to stay. And breakfast - mind blowing!!!!

What delightful B&B! You couldn't ask for more congenial hosts than Ashley and Dave (and let's not forget their friendly dog, Hudson)! We spent three nights at the Burdett House, along with two other couples, and we had a great time. Immaculate rooms, fluffy towels, delicious breakfasts, a guest pantry/coffee station, and a perfect location for visiting wineries and the stunning park.

My husband and I stayed at the Burdett House this weekend and are truly impressed with all it offers! Our room was beautiful and we felt at home and welcomed from the moment we arrived! Ashley, David and Hudson are the most fun hosts and it’s obvious they love taking care of their guests! We will be back on our next trip to WG.

The Burdett House Bed and Breakfast is a perfect place to stay when visiting the Finger Lakes. It is an easy drive to Watkins Glen and many top wineries. This B and B really stands out with elegant and comfortable rooms, fabulous breakfast choices, and very helpful, friendly owners. Ashley and David were so nice to get to know. I stayed for two nights and wished I could have stayed longer.

The cutest little B&B for a few days getaway to the Finger Lakes. The house is adorable and has a covered patio out front to sit and enjoy coffee. We stayed in the Excelsior room, which was spacious, had a cozy bed and very cute patio out back. The location is perfect to get to Watkins Glen (5-10 minutes) and the the Gorge Trail is also 5 minutes away, which was great for a morning hike before breakfast. The breakfast was truly incredible!! They serve breakfast at 9am each morning and tried a different item each day. The breakfast was arguably better than any paid brunch spot I've been to in a while. Ashley and David were very sweet and accommodating too. 10/10 we'd recommend this B&B to anyone.

The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and filling, and the hosts were very attentive and pleasant! I would definitely recommend staying here for any trip to the area, you won’t be disappointed!

My wife and I have been to the Finger Lakes a handful of times and the Burdett House is definitely a B&B that we would recommend to anyone who wants a clean house/room with friendly hosts, and great breakfasts all in a great location. The price was competitive. The home was nicely situated close to the southern side of Seneca Lake near wineries, parks and Watkins Glen. If you are interested in the region, I recommend Burdett House.

We decided at the last minute to extend our stay in the Finger Lakes area. Burdett House was that last minute decision and one of the best ones of our entire trip. The hosts Ashley and David were super nice, friendly and helpful. I was just thinking about carrying my suitcase upstairs when David had our two suitcases in his hands and whisked them upstairs. He showed us the breakfast menu and told us to make our decision. I anticipated that would be the entire breakfast and was so surprised when a light flufffy warm chocolate croissant was placed in front of me- probably one of the best I have ever had in addition to the breakfast I had ordered. The place has lots of special touches that make it unique- highly recommended!!

Ashley and David were phenomenal hosts! They were very accommodating on a special request that was made for us in order to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday over Labor Day weekend.

The location of the well appointed house is minutes from all things Watkins Glen as well as all kinds of breweries and wineries around Seneca Lake.

We stayed in the Knickerbocker room, which was fantastic. Nice sized room, comfy bed, huge shower in the bathroom, as well as a private balcony, which was perfect for dinner on a nice evening. There is also an upstairs lounge with couches, a couple of books, board games, a tv and some dvd’s. The kitchenette down the hall was a great addition as well.

Their included Breakfast was a great jumpstart to the day, along with good conversation with our hosts. The only disappointment was that there was no option to cuddle their dog (Hudson) overnight. Maybe by our next stay that will be an option. *fingers crossed* Lol

In the entry way they sell their hand soap, jams and candles, so make sure you purchase some on your way home!

First time staying at the Burdett House B&B. Great location with a very clean and comfortable room. The gourmet breakfast which included the best banana bread in the finger lakes was delicious. It was great relaxing at the firepit after a fun filled day around the lake. The hosts, Ashley and Dave, really make you feel welcome. Enjoyed all parts of our visit. We will be back. We highly recommend the Burdett House B&B. 5 Star!
