We just had dinner at this place and food was phenomenal!!! Everything was so good and the margarita is the best!!! Also our waitress Kate is excellent at her job. It almost felt like a fine dining experience. Highly recommend this place!!!

The food is always excellent! The guacamole is fresh and delicious, generous portions of food, free chips and salsa...I could go on and on. Just go! :)

Really really good Mexican in downtown Saratoga! 🌮 Along with flavorful meals, all of the staff were very attentive and extremely nice. We went as a group of 5, but the service was quick. I will definitely be back!

So the food was great but i waited for 40 mins for 2 fajitas which would have been fine if i dined in but i called in a pick up order so that was a little much..but other than that the food was good

I've been coming here for months and my personal favorites are the flan and chips & salsa which can be paired with any beer of your choice! Fast service as well!

Added this Definitely not the first time I've eaten there, but it gets better each time! I wanted to give him six stars but I'm just not that good at computer programming! Hands down! Best, Mexican restaurant in Saratoga! From the food to the staff everything was great.
...Fast forward to April 1, 2023, We booked a party of eight for the middle of the dinner. Rush and everything went amazing!
The reason I'm editing my original review is because in the middle of the meal mother nature through a curveball and power went out. I want to give kudos to the staff because they kept on working, kept customer smiling and did everything in their power to keep everyone happy.
I can't say enough about the staff, I can't say enough about the overall atmosphere, and none of that happens if the people in charge aren't treating their people great.
Just one more reason I highly recommend!
10/20/2023- I have to say this being another edit to the review! CONSISTENCY COUNTS ! We are what I'd call semi frequent diners at the Mex I'm always impressed by the ability to wow my taste buds and have a fantastic vibe from the entire staff! Love the place!

Absolutely delicious food and relaxed casual atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Prices were excellent too! Overall a great experience--I'll definitely be returning when I am back in the area! (Just a tip: It was busy when we came in and no one saw us at first so we just sat down at a table, but they prefer to seat you themselves. Just a heads up! They were perfectly understanding of our mistake though and it wasn't an issue.) Thanks for great service!

Service - Excellent
Portions - Huge!
Food - Very good! I had the Mango Jalapeño Scallops over Grits. Soooo good. Mark had the Shredded Beef Chimichanga. He didn’t care for the spicy sour cream. But otherwise was good.
Restrooms - Clean
Temperature - I was a little cold but we were sitting near the door.
Green - Yes! Compostable straws. And cardboard to-go containers.
Overall a good dinner experience. We would definitely cone back.

The experience overall was absolutely amazing from the person that sat us down, to the person who got us our food and then the owner came out to greet us. What a wonderful experience! We will definitely go back.

I've personally been coming here for 25 years. Always a good meal and usually enough for leftovers too. Not hard to find but hard to leave!

Great food, great drinks, great prices!

Was pretty delish! We ordered to go with masks, but waited outside where they had tables so we could have a drink to go. You can thank the 'Rona for that. We ordered a burrito, enchilada, and tamale for each of us. More than enough! Great Spanish food!

OMG!! First time here and i have to say, Maddie is the best server i’ve ever had! Absolutely amazing service. The food was 10/10 as well. Would definitely recommend for dinner after Saratoga race track!!

I love this staple restaurant in Saratoga. The bartenders Katie and Makalea are some of the best in town with their friendly service and perfect margaritas. Thanks for an amazing experience. Not to mention the tacos are amazing!

Thank goodness for this restaurant. Like many, I spent a nice day at the track. Was hungry but didn't want to eat high priced track food. Was also rather dehydrated. Intended to eat at the Horseshoe based on good reviews. We quickly noticed that the place was a chaotic noisy drunken packed out mess. Luckily, like a well hidden oasis, the Mexican Connection was right down the block!!! A nice clean air conditioned restaurant with tasty reasonably priced food. Perfect.

Went for their happy hour special, great value and had an awesome waitress. Definitely recommend - the spicy sour cream is delicious.

Recommend the house tequila margaritas - delicious, made fresh in front of you and I believe they were only $6 each at happy hour off-race-season. Decor is a bit tired, but the complimentary salsa/chips are endless, and the Mexican food was good. This is not an upscale, pretentious restaurant so don't expect one, but if you are looking for good margaritas, real people and down to earth Mexican food this is a quaint L'il place to go.
