Craig Minard Memorial Park

There's a lot of things I like about this park. I like that it's small & simple but surprisingly it has a picnic shelter area with roughly 9 picnic tables and 2 grills so it's plenty big enough for a decent size get together, b-day party, or a simple family picnic or grill out. There's a small play area with 4 regular swings and 1 baby swing and a spiral slide. It's right next to the picnic shelter area which is nice for keeping a close eye on the little ones. There's a soccer field and they have soccer games & practices here about 3 times a week I think. When it's soccer game days, which is usually a Saturday, the parking lot is full but the cool thing is, no one is usually using the picnic shelter area still. The soccer folks are usually in their personal lawn chairs next to the field. And, The Porta Potty! 😩Well everyone knows they aren't the most sanitized restroom, but it's really nice that they provide a restroom because there is parks without 1 at all. And if the log on the wall of this "personal business room" is correct, they empty it weekly. "Honestly 1 of the cleanest porta potties I've had the pleasure of using!"🤣

Nice little park to sit and relax. Not much for kids to do.
