I cannot recommend this store enough. After searching google for a while for a place to buy a tuxedo for my wedding, I decided to try Mark Thomas. There are not many other, if any appealing options in Albany, NY. I feel fortunate to have chosen this store. Gavin in particular was very helpful; he helped me find the style of tuxedo I wanted, and patiently ordered multiple jacket/pant combinations and sizes until we found the right fit. They also were great about sticking to their tailoring timeline, and I picked it up with 10 days to spare before the event. The tuxedo was perfect in terms of fit/tailoring and quality, and it really helped me feel like I looked my best on my wedding day. Again, I highly recommend Mark Thomas if you're in need of a new suit or tuxedo. I'll definitely be back the next time I need a suit.

I came here to find a suit for my wedding, and was not disappointed! This store offers the nicest suits around, and everyone here was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Gavin and Andrew helped me find the perfect suit for the special day, and the whole process felt extremely laid back and I never felt pressured into making a decision. The suits here are a little pricier than what you’d find at some other stores, but you are getting top quality suits in return, and amazing service! If I’m ever in the area and in need of a new suit again, I know exactly where I’ll be going.

Kerry and his team went above and beyond to fit me in a suit. They have excellent quality products, they know styles and color pairings very well, the tailoring crew is great, and the list goes on. It’s your one stop shop if you want to look great.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news as it seems this place has a good reputation but I set an appointment on their website for 2pm got to their store on wolf road and the doors were locked and they looked closed? Tough for me because I own a business and I blocked out time in my day to potentially elevate my business look and it seemed I blocked that time for nothing. Also called Saratoga and no one picked up. Definitely a thumbs down and makes me fun shy to set up any future appointments here

FIRST EDIT
Went in this afternoon and Gavin and staff did a great job looking for the style for me and elevating my look just what I wanted. Not to mention a sports business coat I’ve been looking to get for years that fit perfectly. If it wasn’t for the mishap with the scheduling this would of been a 5 star all day long but that did disrupt a work day for me and I wish their email system worked properly to send out the appropriate email. Probably something the store should look into or update their google hours when they are closed and make sure their appointment schedule book is blocked off and doesn’t allow you to schedule a day that they are closed.

At any rate I’ll be back continued great customer service there could have me come back to google and edit this to 5 but that one situation still lingers.

FINAL EDIT

Owner came up to me today when I picked up the pants to apologize for the situation and they also had items I would like from my previous purchases. I really liked that and showed me a top level of customer service. Mistakes happen with the scheduling but they more than made up for it and they got a regular customer moving forward. Great job MT Team.

First time shopper here this past summer for new suit and a couple pairs of dress slacks. Outstanding service and attention to detail. Got caught in the middle of their move from one store location to another across the street which created some minor confusion but was understandable. Will definitely be back as needs arise!

I decided to take an internship with a firm in NYC that was dealing with high-value clients and realized I didn’t have the wardrobe to match. On short notice Kerry showed me two perfect, Union-made (important!) suits that fit well even before the expert tailoring made them perfect. We bought custom suits from Mark Thomas for our wedding last weekend and couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Not only did we feel super fancy, but we had fun throughout the process. Gavin helped us out from the beginning and made the whole process easy (which is good because we hate shopping for clothes). The material was high quality, they were tailored perfectly for us, and the service was outstanding.

A hidden gem in the capital district. This is not a Macy’s. This is not a Men’s Warehouse. It’s not a quick sale of a piece of clothing that will quickly be forgotten. This is an experience.

You may spend a little more here compared to the big box stores. However, if you haven’t figured it out already, you get what you pay for, and their stuff is priced right.

As a business professional in my early 40s, I can walk in and browse in a laid-back and judgment-free environment. They don’t care if you walk out not buying something. They just want you to look good and will take the time to make sure you feel good about your purchase.

Everyone there is a pleasure to deal with. Everything I buy there gets compliments. Until they close the doors, I’ll keep coming back.

Review for the clueless not-high budget shopper like myself! I’m sure this place does a fine job. The people there definitely know their stuff. The starting price for their suit recommendation for me was over $1K, which these places really should just say to young people when they walk in the door. Don’t go here if you don’t have money lol. But there was electric vehicle charging in the back, so that’s cool! Anyway, got married in a $400 tailored suit from elsewhere. Then partied in a $200 cheap suit from Macy’s off the rack. I preferred the cheap one lol.
