I switched my son to here when he was a baby and now my daughter goes here as well!!! I can’t imagine a better set of health care professionals to care for my childrens needs! Maureen is an amazing pediatrician! You can tell how much she cares about her patients and really takes her time with them. You don’t feel rushed or judged! Have never met a pediatrician before that is so caring and thorough with her patients! Great place to bring your children!

This office has been going downhill for the past few years. It was amazing about 5 years ago but they've taken on way more patients than they can handle and now you constantly get cancelled on if you can even get through on the phone. And heaven forbid you need to get an appointment, you're looking at 3-4 months out. Robin Adams and Dr James are simply amazing, but it doesn't matter because you can never get (or keep) your appointment to see them!

Staff seem unconcerned that no one answers the phones after repeatedly being told I have tried to reach them. Happens over and over and over. Almost impossible to reach to make a simple appointment or get lab results. Love my PCP but the staff have really made the relationship between me and her VERY difficult. Feel sorry for patient who are sick and trying to get a call in!

Dr. Philip James has made me uncomfortable since we switched to him. Took my oldest to see him last week to get a persistent cough checked out. He wanted to prescribe her something that made her sick the last time she took it. I addressed my concern about the medication, but he put her on it anyway. Not even a week later, my daughter has been throwing up profusely just about every day since taking it. How dare he go against the concerns of a parent. Switching my kids and my healthcare somewhere else.

I recently had an unsettling experience with Dr. Lori Schriner’s office at St. Mary’s, which I believe is important to share. Following a 10-hour stay in the emergency room, where, frustratingly, I received no concrete information about my ailment, the ER doctors advised me to seek immediate follow-up care with my primary care physician. This led me to contact Dr. Schriner’s office for an urgent appointment.

However, to my dismay, I was denied an emergency appointment with Dr. Schriner. The explanation given was that my visit to the ER the previous day precluded me from being covered for a follow-up visit the next day. This was not only perplexing but also deeply disappointing. After spending extensive hours in the ER without clear answers, I was under the impression that my primary care physician, particularly in a respected network like St. Mary’s, would be the next step for guidance and care.

This incident has caused me to question the patient care process at St. Mary’s. The role of a primary care physician should ideally include being a reliable and accessible point of contact, especially following an emergency room visit. The lack of support and accessibility at a critical time like this seems to go against the basic tenets of patient care and continuity.

By sharing this experience, my hope is to highlight the need for improved policies at St. Mary’s regarding post-emergency follow-ups with primary care providers such as Dr. Lori Schriner. It is essential for healthcare systems to ensure that patients have a seamless transition from emergency care to primary care, particularly when they leave the ER without clear answers about their health concerns.

Jenn mayling is the worst doctor I have ever seen in over 40 years haven't seen her in a year or more and she cancelled my appointment you have to call for a week straight just to get a script refill then she'll test you and will not be in your system because of her neglect then she violates the HIPAA act by telling family members you don't talk to about your health issues now I have filed a lawsuit she should have her license taken away

My doctor reached out to them for over a month and they never responded. I called for over a week 2 to 3 times a day. Nobody ever answered the phone or returned a single voicemail. The doctors don’t update the registry either, the staff at the front are a constant turnover, that tells you what it’s like to work there when they can’t keep employees.
