Saratoga Spa Golf Course

Courses in great shape and a beautiful layout. Has some challenging holes but not overly filled with sand traps or water like some courses. The elevated greens with their subtle undulations will challenge you, at least they challenged me. The prices go up during racing season FYI.

The condition of their greens and fairways were nice, i really enjoyed to play there. They take care of their course very well. Fresh air, green nature, and good staffs… all good. I want to play here again. Thanks.

Beautifully lush, green course. Lots of evergreens and a good test of golf play. Most tee boxes are elevated with plenty of dog legs. Yellow, white blue and black tees for various skill levels. Nice pro shop, friendly staff. Had a good time.

Good course to score on for longer hitters and don’t be fooled by the fact they don’t have a STimp reading- these run at probably a 12!

Course was in great shape, greens not hard but rolled well....true. Good speed. Tee times spaced well. We moved along but rarely waited and no one behind us pushed us either. And I took $3 from my brother. What's not to like!!

The course is in immaculate condition and is very playable with tee boxes for all skill levels. The greens are perfect! A beautiful tree lined course.

It was awesome. Course conditions were perfect. Greens were excellent. Sandwiches were fresh and tasty. Staff, including Dallas managing the carts, were kind and helpful. I highly recommend the experience. Even the wild life were friendly, including this ferocious snapping turtle on the bridge. Thank you for making it a great day.

I have played here off and on since 2012 and would regularly manage 2 or 3 rounds a year. This year due to a change in career I have so far notched up over a dozen rounds of golf. One thing that has always stood out is the friendly welcoming nature of the club. Whether it is in the Spring or the Summer, early tee time, late tee time or even a twilight game, the warm, welcoming facility puts you at ease at the start of your round. The shop has a good selection of items and the desk is always managed by a warm smiling face and a good positive word. The greens are fabulous considering the foot traffic they receive and the course layout challenges most aspects of your game.
The tee time spacings are appropriate and up until yesterday I had never encountered a truly slow round, yesterday was the exception. Low and behold the course martial appears and leads me to a different hole to speed up my round and get me back on track. It's a testament to the tee time spacings that this is the first time I have seen a course martial ON THE COURSE, normally they are just there to check you in and tee you off.
Love it, love it, love it.
I would offer that perhaps and incentive to locals would be to offer a rewards system whereby a certain number of rounds in the summer gets you a free or discounted round in the fall, just a thought.

We Love this course! Its always clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and informative. I was trying to purchase a Gift card for my Grandfather's Birthday ( Last Minute) during the Off Season and Bill Richardson the GM was nice enough to put me in contact with a staff member to meet me and process the GC that day so I could give it to him! Great Customer Service :)

Played the executive course yesterday with my parents and kids (9 & 13). Perfect course for the family. This is the course I cut my teeth on many years ago and I still love it. Great to practice your mid irons and even get to drive on 3 and 9.

Golf course was in great shape after. Greens were soft from all the recent rain but the ball rolled nicely. Rough was a little thicker than I'd expect from a golf course of this price range.

Spa golf is always manicured very well. Easy to book tee times on-line instead of calling in.

Very nice setting with tree lined fairways and great pace of play.

Practice range doesnt really have nice grass to hit off but the putting green has enough room to chip and putt.

Highly recommended place to play and of course lots of dinner options in Saratoga after the round.

One of the most well maintained courses in the area. The greens can be tricky at times. The course itself is very open with lots of opportunities for players to make up for any mistakes or shots that go haywire. The bunkers are only a few years from being completely renovated. Presents a good round of play whether you are a novice or an experienced player.

Excellent experience all the way, from loading the clubs on the cart to the 18th hole. They've made the course much more fun for women, my wife enjoyed 3 pars! Starter was friendly, pace of play just fine. New bunkers are lovely. Very well maintained course. 10th green remake is a big improvement. Excellent pro shop, too.

The course was in excellent shape.The greens were true and the speed was consistent all day. I also loved that the bunkers had real "white" sand, not the dirt most of our local courses use.

Just the perfect place to go in the summer time...very popular. It has a nice little restaurant at the turn and it is right next to the famous Victorian pool. Currently completing some cosmetic renovations Great for the adult crowd to sit and enjoy a hot day after golf.

I played this terrific course in late September. It was in tremendous shape and the greens were absolutely perfect. I have played all over the world and this is definitely one of the truest golf gems in the northeast. Great turf and a truly great golf staff. The bartender at Catherine's certainly was a great ambassador of the facility. Hope to come back sometime in the future.
