Veterans River Park

Great park, close to the interstate (aka good place to stop while on a trip), well manicured, clean bathrooms, lots of space to run around. Includes covered picnic tables, swings, slides, tennis courts, basketball court, football field, baseball field. Very impressed. Will definitely make it a "stop" on long trips.

A great spot for a picnic and close to the I-81. Lots of space for kids to run around. Playground and river view. Covered picnic tables with BBQ set-up. A peaceful memorial to local soldiers. If you're lucky, you'll catch a baseball game in progress!

Wonderful spot to walk, play tennis or pickleball. Quiet and serene.

Two sided, for good parking and separation at larger events like the fair. Large walking tracks around tennis court and playground. Several covered pavilions. Nice water area to skip rocks. Many large field areas and baseball field. Bathrooms are sometimes open and access to water is usually available here as well.

It's a nice park to have FAMILY get together. It's next to the River to fish , walking trails , pavilions ,bathrooms on sight , swings ,slides ,jungle gym, tennis courts , baseball ,softball. Park for free when your ride sharing for whatever you need to do.

Beautiful park right off Interstate 81. Perfect place for a stop with the kids; there were baseball diamonds, swings, playground, merry-go-round, tennis, pavilions, gazebo, access to the river, and lots of grass!

Nice park. Well maintained. It's by a big river. Features several baseball/soccer fields, a potentional football field, playground, restroom, outhouse, several pavilions, and a Veteran's monument.

I was there for my son's baseball game. It was my home field for legion baseball when I was in high school. It was meticulously maintained then as it is today. Kudos to the Town of Kirkwood's Parks Department. It was not just the 4 baseball & softballfields that were in perfect shape, but the park whole. It is not the case other places but this park is top notch whether you're there for baseball, softball, or a picnic in one of their pavilions you can't miss with Kirkwood River Park.

Ball fields, play ground, picnic pavilions, lots of room for many outdoor activities. Even river access which is a great location to launch your canoe or kayak.

I love the park, great for events (reserve a covered picnic table). Right on the river, so watch children, play area and tennis courts, ample parking and flush toilets!!!!! Yay!!!

Quiet little park in Conklin. Great little play ground also a nice paved area where you can take a long walk with a stroller. Highly recommend.

Very beautiful park set up next to a beautiful view of the susquehanna river and nearby Norfolk southern railroad tracks. The park is very peaceful and you feel one with nature

It was awesome! The Pavillion our party was in was perfect. And my dog loved splashing in the river!

SlStopped on a long trip to stretch our legs, get some fresh air and take a walk down to the water to have a snack.
