The kind of place an amazing getaway begins...
We came mid week for an overnight ski trip and were greeted by our hostess Jean, and her faithful companion Gypsy mid morning as we had arranged to drop off our luggage, and pick up our lift ticket vouchers (a good value, and a nice touch). The Inn is charming, and you immediately find yourself meandering the rooms admiring the woodwork, antiques, history, and cookies. That's right, fresh baked cookies of all varieties are just waiting for you near the complimentary refreshment area. Following a day out on the slopes we had reserved the hot tub but I had forgotten my swimsuit. Another little perk, they have extras available. We had reserved the Mary O'Rourke Suite, and it did not disappoint. It was clean and well appointed with just the right touch of antiques, and a fire place. The Inn is situated within walking distance to top notch restaurants and shopping. In the morning we were served a leisurely 3 course breakfast that included homemade muffins, and one of the finest pancakes I've had! I want that recipe Jean (lol)! Jean and her team are masters at creating a warm and welcoming experience for their guests. Just go ahead and book the room, you won't regret it!

My son and I stayed 2 nights for a weekend ski trip. Due to affordability our family usually stay at hotels. But now I'm hooked on staying at an inn! It was such a treat to have a delicious, leisurely breakfast served on our schedule. Very quiet, considerate guests-even those that were enjoying the hot tub. Meticulously clean, great walkable location and the best doggo I've ever met. Can't wait to come back. Thanks Jean and Co!

Superb breakfasts, wonderful fresh cookies daily, 24/7 coffee available. lovely room, quiet and private, great location within walking distance of restaurants and shops and easy access to skiing. The owner, Jean, was very friendly and personable; the perfect balance between respecting privacy and offering local tips and helpful suggestions. Will definitely return!

Had a lovely stay! The room was perfect..clean & comfortable. The owner was very friendly! The breakfast was amazing and we still talk about how delicious it was to this day! And as an added bonus, the town was great and within walking distance to a lot of great shops and places to stop for lunch, dinner, drinks etc.

Jean was a brilliant hostess!!! Breakfast was amazing each day. Amenities were plentiful, beverages 24/7, bathing suits if you forgot about the hot tub + towels and robes. Every precaution + extras to sanitize and make guests comfortable in this crazy covid time.

My wife and I stayed at the Jefferson Inn for our 24th anniversary, and all can say is BRAVO!!!!

We stayed here in January of this year... What a great find this place was! Beautiful and thoughtful rooms with everything you might need, tea/coffee/sodas/water and fresh baked treats were readily available. Everyone seemed to rave about the breakfast in the guestbook... and we were not disappointed. It was awesome! Cream cheese and blueberry stuffed French toast... whaaaaat?? Our host and her sidekick were also lovely! We will definitely stay again!

My husband and I stayed here for a night and our hosts were incredibly accommodating to our dietary needs as well as our dog traveling with us. I couldn't believe the hospitality and kindness we received as well as the clean and lovely room we stayed in. If you are staying in Ellicottville, this inn is a must!

Very quaint and restful. Great location, walking distance to the village and most restaurants and shops. Great porch for rocking and watching the world go by. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was AMAZING both days. We will definitely be coming back.

The Jefferson Inn is the best place to stay in Ellicottville. It is in the best location, just off the main drag yet less than a block to all the stores, restaurants & bars. The inn is beautiful, well maintained and welcoming. Jean, the owner, is the perfect host.

Beautiful gem in the heart of Ellicottville! My husband and I enjoyed a two night stay at Jefferson Inn and couldn't have asked for anything more - we felt right at home with use of the wet bar, hot tub and tv/games room. We loved chatting with our host Jean and breakfast both days was incredible, we didn't want to leave! Highly recommend staying at the Jefferson Inn if visiting the Ellicottville area, you won't be disappointed.

Perfectly private bathroom for each room. great 3 course breakfast. 2 minute walk to numerous restaurants. Greatly appointed modern clean rooms. Inn keeper / owner Jean has many recommendations for " must do's" in the surrounding area

Have just returned from a road trip around new york state - my husband and I stayed at the Jefferson Inn at the beginning of our trip. Jean was so welcoming, interested in what we were doing and gave us ideas for visits. Inn was spotlessly clean, comfortable and breakfast was superb. I would highly recommend the Inn and the area/town was so beautiful. Thanks again.

Excellent place to stay! The staff is very friendly and attentive. The rooms give you a feeling of home and its walking distance from everything. They provide you with everything you need for your stay and the experience was just relaxing. Very pet friendly!

Our first time here and we will be back next season. The mid-week ski package is a great deal. Room with breakfast, a lift ticket, and a lunch all included.
