Jon and his team were excellent from start to finish. When dealing with the cash sale home buyers, there are many things to factor into a decision. I contacted a few companies to get 3 independent estimate offers. Halo Homebuyers was the most responsive, non-pressured and most informative company I dealt with. I stressed the importance of dealing with a "local" company in my area, not a brokerage or referral service.

Jonathan responded personally, both by email and telephone. In our first phone conversation, he took the time to explain everything in an orderly fashion. He was realistic, and I felt at ease talking and providing information. I was able to evaluate all the information and understand the process. Other companies were very short, pressed me for a decision, and called constantly. This was not the case with Halo Homebuyers. Once I gave permission to text and email, it was a pleasure to handle the process at my pace, while providing Halo with the information they needed.

Jorge came out for an in-person inspection of the property, and was prompt and very polite. His professional attitude and honest evaluation confirmed that I was dealing with the right people.

In the end, I received a fair offer with a closing deadline that met my needs. Every step of the way, they were there to answer any questions and provide updates. I cannot thank them enough, and can whole-heartedly refer them as excellent.

This was a personally difficult time for us. My husband's brother (Steven) had recently passed away unexpectedly. He owned his own home and it needed to be sold.
Many individuals and businesses, wanting to buy and/or sell the home, were contacting us relentlessly by phone and by mail. We were becoming very confused and overwhelmed, until we came upon the Halo website. It sounded like a good fit for us and that Steven's hand was guiding us to contact them. The home needed a considerable amount of work. Knowing that we could neither physically nor financially fix it ourselves, we made the decision to sell it "as is". It took just one phone conversation with Jon to have all our concerns addressed. He took his time, carefully explaining how he had arrived at his figures. This set our minds at ease that we were doing the right thing.
Never pressured, we committed and signed the contract. Jon remained in touch almost daily. He guided us along every step of the process. Truthfully though, there was very little to do on our part. The Halo people did most of the work. Day or night, weekday and weekend, our e-mails and texts were responded to quickly, up to and even after the closing. All business, except for the closing (which also went smoothly), was conducted by phone, text and e-mail. That's how much we trusted them. We have never met Jon face-to-face, but hope to one day when their work is completed.

My uncle had just passed away, his condo was in disrepair and with everything going on, my mom and I did not know what to do or where to go to sell the property.

We received countless letters offering to buy "as is" with promises of fast money and little hassle. I spoke to several of them and they came across as would be expected - like used car salesmen pressing for an answer immediately and keeping constant pressure on throughout the conversation.

This stopped as soon as I called Halo and spoke with Jon. He was patient, informative and spent a good thirty minutes explaining the entire process to me. I immediately felt comfortable with him and the company, as he treated me the way I treat potential clients who call me for legal representation.

I always promise them one thing. Whether or not they hire me, they will end our conversation more knowledgeable than they were when the phone call began. And that is exactly what he did.

The process took exactly the amount of time he said it would. Money-wise, everything was paid just as he said it would be and the company paid all of the expenses they said they would. True to their word in every way.

His partner was also a pleasure to meet when he inspected the property. It was as if he and Jon were the same person when it came to patience, being informative and just making you feel comfortable at a less-than-comfortable period of your life.
