Grandview Hotel New York

Hotel really isn’t that bad as people are making it. And I’m a picky hotel stayer. It’s great for an overnight layover from airport. Yes they are smaller rooms but was perfect for me as a solo traveler. Sorry pics are after I stayed the night.

I had to cancel my booking because of a crazy flight delay coming from France and they more than helped me out and didn’t charge me a cancellation fee. I look forward to staying with them as soon as my flight details are updated . Thank you so so much Grand View Team! Incredible customer service . I appreciate you all so much . You really alleviated my stress and wow such a quick response . Customer service is on point here .

Room was clean..ac worked..although there was no parking in parking lot..what messed up my stay was the ice machine being broke 🤦🏾‍♂…overall my stay was good

We loved everything about this hotel. The room, the location, the staff. If ever back in NYC, we definitely come here again. It's a 45-50 minutes metro ride to the city center. The bus station is right in front of the hotel. There are shops and restaurants at 3 minutes walk away.
It was clean and tidy, and except one night when we had some noisy neighbors, everything was excellent.

This is the best hotel in NYC with nice accommodations for everyone.Then, the receptionist are very friendly.

This was the last hotel before our flight back to Germany on our two weeks roadtrip in northeast US. The rooms are small but clean. The owner/host is very polite and kind. Check in was almost a pleasure. There was nothing to complain. Absoluteley worth the money.

The staff was very friendly. Rooms were small (which was expected) but comfortable. Ample and convenient parking in the back, even for our Friday night arrival. Would recommend!

I don’t normally leave reviews but I needed a cheap stay because my friends flight was delayed. And I found this beautiful little gem. It was cheap, but also clean. It’s no 5 star resort. But it didn’t feel like a motel. Great for a short stay if you’re on a budget. Only draw back is that you have to book online.

The Grandview Hotel is Like a 2nd home to me. The Hotel is spotless. You could eat off the floor, and they literally clean round the clock to maintain such a clean facility. The Gentleman who cleans doesn't talk english, but he always smiles, holds the door for you, and nods a happy hello to you. The Staff are wonderful. They always smile, ask how you are, and offer any thing needed to make your stay pleasant. Serena, Stuart, and Jim, spearhead this staff, and it's refreshing to see stellar Customer Service in action, which starts at the top, i.e., Serena. She is an excellent Manager who's Team, i.e., Stuart/Jim, excellently follow her Lead. GV is well located for transportation and shopping/ restaurant diversity. Ownership should be proud of these personnel, who are continued assets to the continued growth and development of their Hotel. I highly recommend the GVH to all, and Look forward to my next stay!!

Cute little hotel close to LaGuardia airport. We found this nearby gem since our flight was cancelled. Super friendly staff. Rooms are very small but have everything you need: iron, ironing board, hairdryer, coffee maker, large TV, microwave, fridge, reading lamps above bed, soft towels, good water pressure, shower soap and shampoo dispensers, room darkening curtains, nice bedding and very comfortable bed. Very clean rooms. Walking distance to many restaurants, a grocery store and movie theater. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality!

Great hotel with clean and updated accommodations. Location is great for getting around the city using public transportation. A 10-15 minute walk to the subway will take you anyplace in the city. Area is safe and FREE parking which was an added benefit.

The staff is cool (very friendly, respectful), area is safe (near residential places), and the location is great (near food places). The hotel is on a 24-hour bus line to Flushing (~10mins) from where you can take the 7 subway to reach Manhattan. The bus frequency is pretty good. I will visit again.

Parking: free parking on premise, first come first served.

Bus: right in front of the hotel, very convenient, can take you to Flushing Main Street within 2-3 stops (walking distance too, like 15-20 minutes).

Room is small but clean, staff are really friendly and helpful. Wifi is fast.Traffic noise can not be avoided completely in big city, but as a light sleeper, I asked for a higher level room away from the street, also turned on A/C to serve as a white noise machine, it helped greatly, I slept well all four nights, also other guests weren't loud (our room was right in front of the elevator).

i stayed here for fourteen nights and i was completely satisfied, room was clean and bed big and comfortable, bathroom was clean too with bathtub, big mirror and lots of towels, there was a safe, fridge, iron, hairdryer, coffee machine and TV with lots of channels, air condition was working perfectly.
people at reception were really nice and they helped me with everything i needed.
bus stops right in front of the hotel and it takes only 5min to subway line 7 and another 25min to manhattan
there are shops and restaurants very close to hotel, 2min walk
but the best thing was view from my window, i could see all manhattan skyscrapers and it was beautiful, especially sunrise
i was very happy at grandview hotel and if i ever come back to NYC I'll stay here

We stayed here for a quick stay before our early morning flight out of LGA. The room and bathroom were modern and clean, and there was a variety of food to choose from just steps away. Couldn't be happier!

Very easy 5 star for me. The price is good, and only about 15 minute uber (20-25 dollars) to LGA Airport.

The front staff was great. Very friendly.

They said to me "your room is small, just so you know" I appreciated the honesty.

The room is small, but it's all we needed. Bed was comfortable, everything worked fine, very clean, and the shower was nice.

If you want a simple, nice, hotel that is located right along the bus line. This is it.

I will stay here again.

Great parking. Very kind front desk. The room is a perfect size for only sleeping. (very tight room) But I like it! I always book this hotel when visiting NYC. In walking distance, there are places to shop and eat. The only cons of this hotel are the shower. (low pressure of water) Overall, I like this hotel. 🙂

Great place with an excellent staff. Very clean and close to two mayor airports. Rooms are small but spotless.
