I have been going to this is cafe since 2018 and the quality and taste of food has never disappointed me. I love the variety on the menu. It’s my family’s go to place for happy weekend brunch. The staff is warm and friendly. I highly recommend it

I literally make hour drives to enjoy the scenery of the area and always make it a point to eat here. Menu options are great and they have specials that always grab me. Had the short rib hash brown with eggs. Just awesome. I will say i wish i wasn’t as full one time i come here so i can eat the crepes they have. Eventually !!!!

Juliana and Keira make the BEST lattes in town!!! LOVE this place! It's my go-to local coffee shop for sure.

My husband and I just recently moved to Sparta and we can’t get enough of this fantastic eatery. The food is always delicious, the staff is so welcoming and kind and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We had the pleasure of meeting Terry at their Andover location and had the most wonderful time chatting with him. Lakehouse Cafe is an absolute gem!

Well I have to say this place is perfect just like it's sister restaurant it's perfect I would eat here every Saturday when I go out for brunch over and over and over again you can't find anything wrong with it they're both quaint service is great not overcrowded with tables just enough tables to make it comfy the one in Andover has a beautiful fireplace the one in Lake Mohawk it's just fabulous couldn't find a fireplace doesn't mean it wasn't there I highly recommend here

The best thing about Deer Park Plaza in Lake Mohawk. This cafe has the best menu, whether it’s breakfast or lunch. The staff is super friendly and attentive and the food is always fresh!!!!! A definite go to when visiting Lake Mohawk!!!!

FANTASTIC FIND!! We took a day trip to Sparta to explore and stumbled upon this gem. What a charming and warm space, great staff, and delicious food. I highly recommend the BBQ chicken wrap - perfection! We'll definitely be making a trip back to Sparta just to go here!

Great place for breakfast, the crepes and pancakes are delicious but waffles are missing from the menu which puts them on the back foot also it takes quite long for the food to arrive! But overall great environment, good service and great food!!

My husband and I moved to the Andover Twp area about 5 years ago from our home of over 20 years in Penna. While Jersey dinners may be world famous, they just didn't have that feeling of "home".

We were delighted to discover the Lake House Cafe in Sparta at White Deer Plaza — a charming family-run cafe restaurant.

From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere that felt like a home away from home!

Not only is the food delicious with hearty favorites, there are seasonal specials to try.

One of the most lovely aspects of the Lake House Cafe is the personal touch that the family and staff put into every detail. They greet each guest with genuine smiles and take the time to engage in heartfelt conversations.

My husband has experienced some health challenges over the past two years and our visits to the Lake House Cafe are one the highlights of his week.

I love coming to the Lake House! It’s such a warm and welcoming environment. The decor is beautiful and homey. More importantly, I am always greeted with smiles by all staff members. The food is delicious, the service even better. Juliana is typically my server and she is outstanding. I’ve been there countless times and I’ve never once had to wait an abnormal length of time for my meal, nor has the order ever come out incorrect. She is top notch. I will continue to be a customer at the Lake House thanks to the excellent food and even better staff!

We had a wonderful brunch! The outdoor option for dining a plus. It’s in a parking lot, but quiet and peaceful. The food and service delicious! The owners brother Terry swerved us and he was a delight! Inside dining available too! Outdoors had lovely tables and sun protection. Thank you! We’ll be back!

One of our long-term favorites with a great menu and fantastic staff. It can get busy on weekends and the wait is not usually that long - but it's always worth it. Eating outside is nice too. Food is always good, hot, and there is something for everyone. Great coffee and something sweet like a blueberry crumbcake? Hmmm? Everyone working there has a smile on and they do everything they can to make it a great time. When you're done, take a stroll to the lake or enjoy the village. It's all good.

The service here is great. Everyone is so warm and friendly. If I could recommend one thing. It would be the turkey pesto panini made by Israel. It is signature dish worthy. Dining here is always a pleasure.

Been here twice. First time has an avocado and egg on croissant. Only had a very thin slice of avocado. Service was a little slow but not too bad. Second time there was horrible. Only a couple of waitresses handling register and customers. I got my dish cold and coffee was so watery. My daughters omelet dish was horrible to the point she sent it back and they gave her a complimentary crêpe wish was the only good thing and that’s why they’re supposedly know for. Second time was enough for me not to return again. Place is pretty but needs more servers and a better cook.

one minus- no permanent staff. students that don’t care much about time and don’t know how to value it yet. u guys need a faster service. bring the coffee take the order and then take ur time...
