Los Tres Chilitos

This is one of my favorite place to eat in the Heights. Their tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. When you dine in you can expect free chips and salsa! The meat is tender and flavorful. Always consistent every time I have the chance to go.

Street parking only. Best chance to find a spot is probably off Central at least during the day.

Great atmosphere dine in. Burrito was a amazing and worth the price of $12. Free chips and salsa was good too! Clean restrooms. Green salsa was amazing with the burrito!

Parking may be hard to find. I was lucky and found a parking next to the restaurant for free as it was Saturday after 6PM (before 6PM, it is metered parking).

Really delicious food including plenty of vegetarian options. We were staying around the corner and were looking for somewhere to eat late on a Sunday night. Friendly, helpful service and reasonably priced menu. This place is an absolute winner. Thanks for feeding us so well.

One of my best place to eat Mexican food. Must try there tacos and Nachos. The place needs a bit of revamp in terms of decor but the food is top not h Homestyle Mexican cooking.

Also the Enchiladas with Mole sauce is one of the dish I always order.

The portions are huge for the price! So order accordingly gaucamole is fresh made.

I've been enjoying the incredibly delicious and authentic Mexican food at Los Tres Chilitos since I first moved to JC in 2010, and while so many other things in this city have changed, the quality of the food here has been constant. My husband and I go at least once per month to enjoy our favorite dishes (sometimes more often) and this was true even when we lived in a different neighborhood for several years. I can't recommend this place enough! And while you can't go wrong ordering anything on their menu, their tinga de pollo is definitely my favorite meat of theirs, so I suggest trying that in your entree.

Really good prices for delicious food and nice service! I had the flautas (crispy tacos) and was worried that they would be soggy down the salad but they were actually really crunchy and filled well.

I have always enjoyed Tres Chilitos. Great food, well priced and nice ambience. Can't go wrong.

Service was great! Waiters are very friendly and patient. Let us stay until closing and were very polite. Food was absolutely delicious. We ordered chicken flautas and grilled chicken quesadillas and everything was spectacular.

I rarely ever write reviews and I rarely ever order out. The food was amazing and affordable which is something hard to find these days. I order tacos, burritos and quesadillas all of which did not disappoint. Bonus points for being family owed !

I didnt know central ave has this nice restaurant.
Interior is nice and clean, family can enjoy dinner lunch. Good place for kids to enjoy mexican food. Also they have other american foods too.

But definitely try their authentic Mexican dishes and you ill be blow away by the taste and the ingredients quality.
Salsa are the best. Any dish will satisfy your craving for mexican food.
