Soop Cemetery

Really cool place. This cemetery overlooks Belleville Lake, for a great view. Old entrance to VB Park here too. Lots of very old graves, and even supposedly a witch.

Since everyone wants to know about her, she's right by the curve in the road. First row. There's a hand pointing down on her grave.

Went there this afternoon. A very pleasant sunny day so no eerie feelings. Lots of old and interesting tombstones. Found the witch grave! My son said he doesn’t believe in ghosts or spirits but doesn’t want to ever go there at night. Too creepy, he says

Its small and the gravestones very old! Couldn't shake the heavy feeling in the air. This place has a spooky feeling to it! Even during the morning hours!! Wish it was warmer outside when I decided to visit, I would have stayed a little longer!!

Haunted cemetery, you will feel like you are being watched as you walk around here. I tried to find a shortcut to the park through the woods behind here in January, and I could not shake the feeling that someone was watching me. (ps, you cannot get to the park from here, there is this river in the way)

It looks like there was a bridge across at one point. I actually moved this giant dead log from the woods to put it between the stones to try to cross. You can actually it if you zoom in on sate-light mode. Unless you are willing to get wet though, that river is uncross-able, so get used to taking the long way around.

Now as for living around here, I've not been bothered much by the unearthly inhabitants of the graveyard. Before I lived here I had a huge problem with shadow people watching me sleep next to my bed, however, once I became a christian they went away. It's probable that this is why I do not have any issues with the haunted graveyard nearby. It can actually be seen from my balcony in the winter. (too many trees in the summer for visibility.) Half of the grave yard is behind the bar off of denton, the other half is way over by the bridge on the way to downtown. The police often sit there to catch those jerks that use the right lane to pass all the traffic and then do a big uturn turn after they turn right. (PS. please give those officers a raise they rock).

This place will scare you. If you're looking for a thrill then here you go. Caught something on tape here twice. One was an orb with a swirling sound, then what appears to be a shirtless faceless man shaking his head around. Wish I still had that tape

I have been to soop cemetery plenty of time's,i have seen a black figure running across.The witch with her chain's.I've seen something blue peek around the tree's.Most experience ever👍👍

it was pretty cool, except for the red lights out in the trees that may or may not be from a witch.
