Leisure Suites

As a local bought a timeshare just for year round use of pelican center. Super nice pool, waterslide, hot tub , sauna, kids pool, fitness center, basketball court with volley ball nets and supplied balls. Even have board games! Super clean facility and staff is awesome and we sometimes the front desk. The pool guys pretty cool too

Nice clean rooms. Have been an owner of a unit for 14 years, and just bought another unit a year ago.

Ok.

First of all, the actual name of this hotel is Pelican Lake Motel, not Leisure Suites. The check-in is in a different building a couple of blocks away. When we got back in the building the first thing I noticed when we stepped in the lobby was the smell of smoke, in a non-smoking building. The whole lobby and the hallways smelled. There was also a ceiling tile on the floor because the air conditioner was leaking and causing a large water problem. The rooms at least did not smell and were clean. They were however, very small and very very dated. There were no amenities: no coffee pot, no refrigerator, no microwave, no iron, no breakfast. Not at all what I was expecting of a place with the word "suite" in its name.

Keep in mind, if you book your stay using points at any Narveson property, and stay for less than 7 days, you will be charged a $60 housekeeping fee at the time of check in. It's not refundable. This was not clearly explained during the check in process. Sometimes it's the little things.

Its time shares but some pretty nice

You refused to allow a reservation for a Veteran and his family because they had a service dog. In CLEAR VIOLATION of the Americans With Disabilities Act, your staff proceeded to ask very personal information about their disability and "classify" their animal as just emotional support, telling them that their dog was not a service dog. Very, very illegal. Once upon a time, I enjoyed your resort. No more and never again.
