Fort Gift Shop and Candy Kitchen

I love love love this old school souvenir shop! It's been run by the same family since the 1960's. A must-visit stop on the way to Mack. Island or the UP. Just awesome!

Stopped for some fudge had some free samples. Great tasting treats!

There are two floors...make sure your kids go to the first floor when they first get there. Shirt prices were some of the best we have seen. The fudge is a bit pricey, but it is so worth it. They had a great variety of items. Very nice clean bathroom. Most importantly they have serious veteran respect. My dad was wearing his veteran hat and they gave him a magnet thanking him for his service. I highly recommend this shop.

Very nice shop. There are a variety of things, gifts, souvenirs and other item in the shop. I spent almost an hour in the shop and it was worth it. I got a fridge magnet, a skeleton of a small died star fish as a souvenir. I liked the shop.

We always stop here on our way home from being in the UP, this year I went before going up there since it'd been a number of years and really wanted some fudge. I love the selection of fudge they have and the overall selection of goods they carry. The prices are fair and the staff was really friendly!

I have sugar issues and The Fort Candy Kitchen has sugar free candies. I got the white chocolate pecan bark. You could not tell it was sugar free. Had a good time chatting with the owner. Great gifts, candy and customer service.

This is a must stop everytime I come to Mackinaw City. It has low traffic and the prices are much better than stores on the main strip. A great spot to collect souvenirs at reasonable prices. Friendly staff.

A great up North Mackinaw City destination! All sorts of souvenirs and of course T Shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, hats, and other clothing items. Then do not forget the fudge, taffy, carmel corn, licorice and many more items. Your children will love the store and so will your wife. My family has been going for over thirty years.

Every kitch thing in the world plus all the candy you craved as a kid on vacation! Fudge. Saltwater Taffy. Candy Drops. Many kinds of popcorn. T-shirts, giftware, all things Mighty Mac related. Fun for all ages.

We loved coming here, staff is friendly and we did the gem stone bag. It was a blast the kids loved it. This is a place everyone should stop at.

A really great place to stop bye and shop. Very helpful staff friendly and really care about there customers. Stop here every year. The owner is a really great couple.

I am sorry to say, as much as I love this tiny gem of a store; it is the behind the building scene of the underside of the bridge, priceless. Both lakes mix in a very cold watery dance.

Been shopping here since before I can remember. Bummer that hockey has died out in the area. Gift shop is still a must stop!

Had some fun little things here. Got an iron on patch here for my collection and an Edmund Fitzgerald magnet.
