Room is small but we have a great ocean view! The salt water pool and hot tub are a welcome respite from the summer heat.
Full breakfast is wonderful, along with fresh baked cookies and scones throughout the day.
Service is flawless and personable. Probably one of the best bnb experiences!

2 Village Square is a special place. It is an adults only inn that is located in the heart of Ogonquit, Maine.

What truly makes it special is the owner and inn keeper -- Bruce. He has created a culture of warmth and a spirit not just staying at the inn, but rather coming home. He remembers everyone's name like they are family. Many of the patrons are repeat customers and we have visited over five years.

The inn is on a high elevation with a magnificent view of the ocean/ogonquit beach from the large front porch, as well as the pool and some guest rooms. I would venture to day that there is nowhere else in town with a comparable view. Various room options exist and are all listed on the website.

Your stay at the inn includes a delicious large full breakfast freshly prepared daily. There is always a main entree such as French toast or waffles. In addition, there is coffee, juice and yogurt with berries. Every effort is made to accomodate dietary issues. I happen to be gluten free and Bruce always has a gluten free option available.

In the afternoon there are always freshly baked cookies as well as ice tea and a rotating adult drink.

The salt water pool and hottub are peacefull and great places to sit and red. However, if you prefer to be social there are always guests to talk.

In summary, 2 Village Square is a wonderful friendly place to stay in the center of town. It is close to the beach, shops and multiple restaurants. Bruce and his staff have created a warm, friendly and service oriented environment. You cannot go wrong staying here.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. This place goes above and beyond. It's all the little details that make this place amazing. Great breakfast every morning. Great cocktails and cookies every afternoon. Then at night climbing into the best bedding with the most amazing pillows. Top notch all the way.

This place is incredible. Easy walking distance to downtown and beach. Great ocean views. But what really sets it apart is the service and amenities. Aaron and Bruce were genuinely friendly and welcoming. They even anticipated my needs. The hot tub is so relaxing. And it is salt water; so nice to not smell chlorine. And to top it off, it has a canopy above it so it can be enjoyed in the rain.

Our fourth year staying at V2 and it was another amazing experience. Bruce and the entire staff are just awesome. It is very easy to get used to the delicious breakfast every morning and the daily fresh baked cookies and specialty drinks everyday. 2 Village Square is a very special place and keeps the same guests coming back the same time every year, making it easy to create new friendships. Already booked next years trip to Ogunquit staying at 2 Village Square, our home away from home. If you are thinking about staying here, just do it, you wont be sorry!!! Staying at 2 Village Square is always a wonderful experience! The rooms are well appointed and maintained, the views are fantastic, and the first floor living room is cozy and relaxing. Breakfast is amazing, always changing, fresh and delicious and always with real maple syrup, yummy!! Bruce and all the staff are welcoming and will do whatever it takes to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Being in the center of Ogunquit is perfect

My husband and I travel with our dog every few months to the Ogunquit, ME/Portsmouth, NH area. We live in the NYC Metro area and have demanding careers. Ogunquit is our oasis!
2 Village Square Inn is, hands down, the best lodging in Ogunquit. The location is perched on a wooded hill, over looking downtown. You can hear joyous singing at night from the piano bar across the street, which is very uplifting! However, the land of the inn is far enough away from the busyness of town for you to have your privacy.
2V has two dog-friendly rooms, which are always very clean with quality bedding.
Breakfast is unbelievable, consistent and delicious.
The afternoon cocktail and fresh cookie is a great addition to your afternoon while on a relaxing get-away.
But, most of all, what makes this property particularly special is Bruce. He is kind, professional and takes a lot of pride in his and Scott's properties. He is the perfect combination of friendly while also giving you your space to enjoy your vacation. Hearing Bruce say, "Welcome home, Kate" nearly brings a tear to my eye. Sitting on that porch with a beverage while overlooking downtown and the peaceful shore is one of my favorite experiences.
Ogunquit is a very special place and 2V is a big part of it.

This is our 2nd visit and it's even better than the 1st. This will remain a staple vacation spot for us! The staff is always helpful and very accommodating. The breakfast(my favorite) is always delicious and hot!!! The view this time was incredible and definitely a core memory now.

We have not stopped thinking about this inn since our stay in August. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location is walking distance from all the shops and restaurants and a short walk to the beach. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Our favorite part was the delicious breakfasts we ate every morning overlooking the town and ocean. Every morning I wake up and miss those breakfasts! We will absolutely be back for years and years to come!

What a gorgeous and perfect place to stay! Bruce was such a wonderful host. Our room was nice and clean, the house is absolutely gorgeous and the breakfast was delicious. Great location in Ogunquit, very walkable to so many spots. Can’t wait to come back!

My only hesitation in giving a glowing five star review is that people will then find out about this absolute hidden gem and book up all the rooms.

At any rate, I have to give credit - this inn is located perfectly along the town, only a short walk to the beach. You can enjoy the beautiful ocean views from several of the rooms, the front porch, or the garden. Parking is taken care of for your stay as you will be within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the beach.

The rooms are beautifully done and very clean, with very comfortable beds and linens.

Bruce was an incredible host, remembering guests by name and offering an amazing breakfast each day with scones or cookies freshly made to snack on throughout the day.

Finally, the heated pool and hot tub were a perfect way to end the day and relax.

We really enjoyed our stay at Village Square. The location is perfect, just steps from the Stage and close to the beach. Bruce was a great host! Fresh cookies, great breakfasts, and a nice pool and hot tub. I will stay here again on my next trip to Ogunquit.

Great experience staying at this wonderful Inn.. Perfect location in town and within walking distance to everything. Our host Bruce is a real prince - just the nicest person you'll ever meet.. Also, a lavish brekfast is provded every morning... unlike some other B & B breakfasts that are "included" but are skimpy at best! Will definetly be back for a stay down the road... Also, thanks to Matt who was really knowledgable and helpful with his dinner suggestions.. Again, overall, just a real nice stay for us!!

We loved everything about our stay! ❤ The resort was situated up on a quaint hill right in the heart of town. Bruce the Innkeeper greeted us in the parking lot and helped us with our bags. The hospitality was top notch and his homemade scones and cookies were incredible! The rooms were spacious and super clean. We loved the salt water pool and hot tub 😍 We even got surprise Margarita's poolside! The delicious breakfast was freshly prepared every morning. We enjoyed sitting outside on the wraparound porch in the adirondack chairs overlooking the ocean

Bruce and Adam were amazing hosts! The atmosphere is so friendly! Both remember every guest's first name and use it with every opportunity. Fresh coffee all day, as well as chocolate chip cookies by the pool in the afternoon was a bonus! Breakfast served fresh on the porch or poolside was amazing! We will be back for certain, and will recommend 2 Village Square Inn to all of our friends!

Another trip to the inn and this year was even better than last year. Hands down the best bed and breakfast anywhere really. Beautiful rooms, beautiful views, fantastic hospitality and fantastic breakfast. I am sure it would still be a wonderful spot without him but Bruce, the host, really makes it every thing it is. We will be back soon!

Our third stay at 2 VS Inn. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Freshly baked scones every morning (different flavor each day, White Raspberry, Apple Cinnamon, Blueberry). Breakfast starts at 8 and is also almost different each day (Potatoes & Peppers/Onions were the only thing the same…soo good!) Buffet service.

Rooms are nice, very soft sheets, great pool and jacuzzi.

It’s in the center of town situated on a hill so the views are great and it’s close to everything!

My fav thing to do was to sit on the front porch on a rocker with a cup of hot coffee. I’m NOT a morning person but being here made me want to wake up early and just relax on the porch.

The best thing is Bruce. So welcoming! The Inn is so charming, comfortable and just a short walk to the greatest beach. Delicious breakfast everyday. Homemade cookies in the afternoon. Beautiful pool. My room was perfect. With a wonderful view of the ocean.

2 Village Square is the absolute best!! The staff, the food, the pool and jacuzzi, the massage therapists, the location, all truly wonderful. The only place I'm interested in staying when in Ogunquit!

We did a 4 day trip to Ogunquit with some friends, and booked our stay at the 2 Village Sq Inn, and every part of our stay exceeded our expectations. Bruce and his staff were extremely helpful and personable. Everyone repeatedly went above and beyond with their hospitality. The condition and cleanliness of the Inn was great, and the heated pool & hut tub is the best in the area. The hand cooked breakfast every morning was better than most restaurants, and the selections changed every morning.
We've stayed at other places in Ogunquit, but this was by far the best. In the future there is no other choice for a place to stay. The only problem...there isn't a 2 Village Square Inn at other destinations we travel to. Everything else is a let down. Can't wait to stay here again.
