Joann's Fudge Of Mackinac Island

Joann's fudge has always had great flavor. I saw a new product there that I wanted to try which was called a cookie dough pop.

It was so delicious but the cookie dough pop has the pointy end of the stick inside of it. If a child is eating it, I could see them possibly getting poked by the end of the stick. Even an adult should be careful of biting into it.

We first tried Joann's double chocolate mint fudge on the island two years ago and loved it so much, we knew we wanted to get it again. Sure enough, it did not disappoint. Great chocolate mint flavor without the mint feeling overpowering or synthetic.

The staff at Joann's was very friendly and generous with samples. Fudge samples were big enough that we shared them amongst our group. We were all able to try everything we wanted without any side-eye for trying too much. :)

We ended up purchasing 4 blocks of fudge, and they even gave us a birthday discount when they overheard us mentioning it.

I would highly recommend.

I absolutely love the texture and taste of their fudge! I’ve tried so many other places but nothing even comes close. Although the shop was busy, service was prompt and we were still able to sample different fudges before making up our minds. We will definitely have to stop by every time we cross the bridge.

Been coming here for years the fudge is amazing. They also have excellent taffy, candies, and assorted chocolates. The chocolate truffles are particularly good.
If you get there early enough, you can see them making the fudge and cooling/cutting it into the “loafs” we are used to buying.

We sampled a few flavors and really enjoyed the Dbl Dark Espresso, German Chocolate, and Cookie Crunch.

Staff was very patient as we made our selections.

I got some German chocolate fudge was super delicious. I worked there in high school and I mentioned that just to let the employee know and they gave me an employee discount still. Super cool. Super friendly!

I read a few reviews where it mentioned that the fudge at this store was overpriced. Actually it really wasn’t! They had deals where if you got more it was cheaper and even if you bought singles it wasn’t that bad. There was a huge selection of fudge to choose from and you could sample as many as you want. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They didn’t seem bothered when we were trying to sample some fudge and we sampled quite a few. We had walked around to see if other fudge stores were as good as this one or better. We didn’t come across any other fudge stores, whose fudge was soft and moist like the one JOANN had. We literally went back looking for them to purchase their fudge and we purchased like 12 of them. The penuche and butter pecan were our favorites. The fudge was rich and creamy where as other places had dry and brittle fudge. I would definitely recommend fudge from here and you won’t be disappointed at all! The taffy’s also very flavorful and chewy and you definitely have a big sample section for all the flavors as well. They have pre packed bags that are decently priced or you can mix your own for also a very decent price. Overall, a very good place wit very tasty stuff for your tastebuds.

My favorite Fudge place! We go here everytime we visit. This year my boyfriend and I went and I got a cute anniversary gift for him. We got 4 truffles 2 carmel cheesecake and 2 strawberry. Also the more Fudge you buy the better the price gets! The staff was very patient. I went in with 5 kids and they let them taste and answered questions.

If you go to mackinaw city/Mackinac island this is must visit place for Fudge! They have tons of variety of fudge options and they are so delicious. They also have sugar free options too.

Just learned that you shouldn't refrig. fudge, unless it's 200°, as the cold dries it out! Very friendly staff! Free samples.

Tried Chocoalte fudge which was really good. They prepare these live. It was really yummy.

The two cashiers earlier today were very nice. The young man stirring the fudge provided informational overview of the copper pot & wood stick involved in stirring the fudge over the hot stove. But the young man who was walking and pushing the fudge with a metal tool on the marble table gave my son and I Can education overview of the fudge making & cooling process on the table. I will definitely visit Joann’s Mackinaw Island Fudge on all my visits in Mackinaw City❤

I usually find fudge so rich it makes me sick but this one was amazingly good. And they had it in pumpkin pie flavor—- a bonus!

Her fudge was delicious, peanut brittle wasn't bad either.

Gave us as many free samples as we wanted, employee encouraged taste testing even. We visited the island location and ran out so stopped by this shop too. Best fudge in the area and the employee was so very kind to us here, very sweet patient lady! A++++++

Picturesque county store feel with great service and delicious fudge and taffy.

My entire Family came up and we did a blind taste test with all the big name fudge makers in town (5). Joann's was the overall winner. Also, it was a lot of fun just doing this.

We have been to Mackinaw City for 20+ years to celebrate the 4th of July🇺🇲🎇 Every year we go to Joann's Fudge to purchase their yummy treats. We always get ice cream and also fudge to take home. Their fudge has the creamiest texture, the perfect density and mouth watering flavors. Their staff is always friendly and helpful. The prices are great for the quality. I would highly recommend this store over any other in Mackinaw City for fudge and ice cream. Only downfall is like many stores there is no restroom on site but there are several public restrooms around town.
