This hotel was great. We thought being shown to our room when we first got there was a nice touch. Not very many places do this. The owners were great to talk to. The room was well maintained daily. The location was great - 5 minute walk to the beach and close by to a lot the restaurants and shopping. This was a great vacation due to having such a nice relaxing place to stay. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

OUTSTANDING, just returned home from an amazing weekend at the Abalonia Inn. From the initial contact to reservation to check out so very impressed with this Inn. The salt water pool, hot tub, morning coffee and yummy muffins and super clean rooms and grounds. WE are hooked. We visit Ogunquit 2 - 4 times a year and we have found our new "go to". Also love the owners! Jessi and Carrie such hard working caring individuals such a nice change from the big corporate hotels. AND LOCATION can't beat it but you would never know you are right downtown and great proximity to the most magnificent beach. THANKS for a great get away and see you soon!

We have stayed at the Abalonia three times and just love everything about this place. It seems to be family owned and we love supporting the family businesses in Ogunquit. Jesse is helpful, personable, and kind. The morning pastry is delicious and available all day if you need a snack later. The location is perfect and right in the middle of town The pool and hot tub are clean and relaxing. I enjoyed the best water aerobic workout in there. We left feeling rested and happy

Can’t beat this location! Walk to everything. Friendly innkeepers and thoughtfully updated rooms that maintained the character of the inn. It was a delightful stay. We enjoyed the saltwater pool, hot tub and roof deck. Would definitely stay again.

What more can I say, we made last-minute reservations after the office closed. We called the phone number and they were very accommodative. We did feel bad that the person had to come back into the office but he was very nice. Jerome was beautiful and it was very clean the mattress was very comfortable. It's got a cute little indoor pool and a hot tub on premise. You can walk pretty much to anything you need. We were there for 3 days and didn't have to move the car at all. The beach is about 4/10 of a mile away. There's a small hill to go down and then back up on the return trip. The pastries and coffee in the morning were a favorite of ours.

The location is great. Cathy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Jesse the owner is a great host. the rooms were nice for an old style inn. The muffins and coffee they have in the morning were good. The staff and the owner make the stay exceptional. Great location and rooms. Love this place. I definitely recommend. Will definitely stay here when we go to Qgunquit ME.

We picked it for the location and were pleasantly surprised with the pool and grounds. Room isn't huge but we didn't spend much time there as it is walking distance to everything! Delicious pastries as well!

We booked our room last minute, and couldn’t be happier with how we lucked out with such a great stay. The room was comfortable and clean, the private deck was very nice as well. There are several areas to relax and enjoy the weather, and it was surprisingly quiet for how close it was to all the shops and restaurants - also a nice quick walk to the beach.
A highlight of our stay was the fire pit and the great conversations with other guests and the owner, Jesse. Highly recommend, and we’ll be back!

We loved this Inn! The family who owns it is very friendly and efficient. And Keegan was very helpful, too! They have left no stone unturned, even providing delicious, local bakery treats twice a day. The room was perfect and a good size. There was a substantial deck outside of our room, which we enjoyed. The location is excellent and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Our stay here was fantastic. The rooms have modern amenities (like water pressure and wifi) but with that historic charm. The service is personal. The daily muffins are beyond. The location cannot be beat. Easy parking and quick walk to the beach or all of downtown. The saltwater pool was a nice respite from the ocean and the sun. There is seating all over the property, so you can find sun or shade no matter the time of day. The Abalonia Inn was exactly what I wanted in my Ogunquit visit and I want to give them 100 stars out of 5.

Quaint and charming New England inn. Jesse, the owner, and his staff were friendly & personable. The rooms are small and rustic. While you won't get the services offered at a full-service hotel (no restaurant, bar, or fitness center, e.g.), the small inn charm and location more than compensate for the absence of some large hotel amenities, and the room prices are much more reasonable than at a larger hotel. We will definitely stay there again. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a laid- back, relaxing experience.

The location of the Abalonia Inn was perfect for Ogunquit Beach, restaurants and shopping . It was a picturesque experience in a New England town full of charm. Everything is right outside your door here. I stayed in Room #8 and the size of the room felt spacious to move around in. The bathroom was a very good size with a stand- up shower and it was nice to have a window for ventilation. This was a corner unit that had views of the main road. There is a small closet perfect for hanging up your clothes and a small dresser if you decide to unpack. There was a good size refrigerator in the room if you wanted to bring wine/ champagne or store any leftovers from restaurants. With the air condition running at night, I didn't hear my next door neighbors. For outdoor amenities I enjoyed the heated salt water pool. There is also an in-ground hot tub. Adirondack chairs and a fire pit to enjoy the evenings. Service was friendly and suggestive for things to do in town. The main office opens up at 8:00am and has muffins from a local bakery and coffee that are provided. The owners were so nice to allow us to leave our car in the parking lot on the day of check- out while we went to the beach for a couple hours. Would definitely come back and stay here again.

The location was perfect with a 45 second (that’s no exaggeration) walk to shops and restaurants in Ogunquit. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The hosts were SUPERB!! When asked by locals where we were staying they all said it was pretty much the best choice in the area and I agree. I’m very glad we were able to stay there and will stay there again!!

First time visit to Ogunquit and the Abalonia Inn- and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Upon check in they were friendly and took the time to show us what was in which direction from the hotel.
While not ocean front it was a very short and enjoyable walk down to the beach. This location can't be beat for the path to Marginal way and Shore road. We were able to walk everywhere!
We enjoyed the hot tub every evening.
Staff helped us when we needed with things like extra towels for hot tub and bottle opener.
Only con which I saw mentioned before- extra shelves in shower/bathroom as there was not a ton of space, but our room was clean, quiet and very comfortable.
Will definitely stay again!

My wife and I recently stayed at this place while visiting new england. We had a bottom floor room facing the street with a covered porch and that was great. We were there in October so it was cool and comfy. The room was cleaned but not super comfortable. Because it's also part of a large bed and breakfast sort of facility, there were a lot of people coming and going right outside your door and it's pretty noisy. But the people were very nice, there's a large book and reading room and one of the buildings, and a rooftop deck. The location is great for walking through town.

My partner and I had a delightful stay at the Inn. Perfect location and everything is within walking distance. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming as well. They were also great in providing us tips on what to do around the area. We are looking forward to coming back this summer and staying here again once the weather warms up!

Lovely Inn in the heart of Ogunquit Maine. Rooms are on the small side, but very clean and well maintained. Jesse and his team are wonderful hosts and the location is perfect - walking distance to most of Ogunquit!

What a wonderful property! The new owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. They were welcoming upon arrival and their hospitality continued throughout our stay (3 days/2 nights). This inn is VERY well kept!! If you are looking for a place in the BEST location (steps to town and a short walk to the beach), with clean/comfortable rooms and meticulously maintained grounds then this is your place!!! My favorite part was the private deck. I had my morning coffee out there each day and it was extremely relaxing. I am looking forward to returning to the Abalonia Inn soon.
