Del Sol - Color Change (Now Open for 2023 Season!)

Shopping here was way more than a five-star experience. Nearly everything in the store changes color in the sun, and they have several light stations throughout the store where you can see the effect within seconds. This was a huge delight for my five year old son. My wife and I purchased sunglasses and she bought several bottles of nail polish. So far we love the products, but the shopping experience itself is why I am writing this review. Nathan and Jessica went out of their way to make us feel valued and appreciated, exuding kindness and patience while we made our purchasing decisions. Though they were busy, they took time to show my son how the lights worked and he was enthralled, testing nearly every t-shirt he could reach. We walked in without expectations and came back several times during our vacation. We can't wait to go back.

My mom had gotten my girls a shirt from this brand off of her cruise ship so I wanted to get a new size for my daughter but saw that they closed it was 6:00pm so weren't even going to try as we were getting into town about this time. We were on our way to dinner and saw the open light was on but the door was locked. However the shop salesperson, Nate, let us in the shop at like 7:30pm ! All six of us got some goodies! He was very patient and helpful.

I wasn't planning on going into this store but my sister had, and she almost dragged me to it, she was so excited. I'm glad she did too. Nathan was awesome. He was generous with his explanations and very helpful. Yep, I got some very cute things for a birthday and for myself as well.

Love this store. They have so many cool variety of items that changed color in the sun. From shirts to hats, bags and nail polish.They were so sweet to me and my family. Zemi was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. Thank you so much for the great customer service.

We were in mackinaw eating and playing in the park and my 3 year old ran into the store and Nathan greeted us with enthusiasm and he was the only person who ever has ever treated my three year old so nice! He greeted her with something magical and she just loved watching the colors change she was running around the store with so much excitement and he seemed to be excited for her so we bought a few things of course! He definitely is a great salesman for all ages. Thank you so much Nathan for taking us in last minute as you were closing that was so nice of you!

I always buy at DelSol if I find one on my travels and have been doing so for at least 15 years but this was by far my best experience. The sales associate Zemi was so nice and friendly and let us know about the sale they had going on which got me a free bag YAY!! I wish all sales associates or anybody in customer service really were all as friendly as Zemi. Keep up the good work Zemi and DelSol:-)

I was so excited to run into this brick and mortar store!

I purchased a pair of these sunglasses on my honeymoon and they have a no questions asked replacement policy. Just remember to KEEP THE BOX. I confirmed how to use the policy with the employee and tried on a few pairs of sunglasses with her help.

The prices were as expected and for a small store in Mackinaw City, they had good selection of items and variety.

Zemi was my cashier. She was super helpful and very friendly. Great products great service and all around a nice place to shop.

Nathan is the best!! He went over & beyond to help me get shirts for my grandsons. I emailed the store to ask about getting some shirts with the Mackinaw name tag shipped to me. He actually sent me photos of the shirts available in the sizes that I needed! He sent the shirts right out & I had them in 2 days! I’ll miss the trip to Mackinaw City this summer, but Nathan made it possible for my grandsons to still get the T-shirts that they love. Thanks Nathan, you’re awesome!

We visited Del Sol in Mackinaw and were helped by Zemi… she was wonderfully kind and helpful! The color changing features are a sure enjoyment for anyone with their wide varieties of products… from nail products to jewelry and hair clips to clothing, sunglasses and toys, this store has the perfect souvenir waiting for you.

Second shout out to Zemi… we visited the shop before lunch and returned a second time after dinner (HOURS) later… she looked up to greet us, and cheerfully smiled and said, “Welcome Back!” With the probably hundred visitors in between our stops in this touristy town, she recognized my daughter and I and THAT is the perfect reason to shop here. Heck, just by this explanation, Zemi probably knows exactly who is writing this review. Thanks Zemi, you’re FABULOUS!

Very nice people and love the color changing nail polish. 💅 Will buy more polish again. It doesn't peal off like other polish does, it stays on longer.

We went to the Mackinaw City store yesterday 7-4-20 @6pm. The clerk was very funny and sweet. She helped us and gave me a great deal! I will definitely be back and recommend you shop here. They have all of those items that change color in the sun. I got the nail polish. Very cool!

Visited June 2020- Zemi was so helpful and showed my kids how the Del Sol magic happens! Loved the gifts with purchase too! Clothing a little on the pricier side and tropical themed instead of "up north/great lakes" but still very cute. The shopping center it is in is very nice! Wonderful experience overall!

We were here on Monday July 6th and had an Amazing experience! My daughter and I knew of some of the products because of my parents but we had fun showing my boyfriend what it was all about! Zemi saw our enthusiasm and joined in showing us even more and she really fed off and fueled our excitement. We really enjoyed our time and bought many things!

Really neat store with a lot of cool items! Zemi was GREAT! She let my kids and I look and test the color-changing on everything. The have clothing, nailpolish, hair accessories, jewelry and more that changes colors when exposed to the sun.
