Papa Zo's Pizza

Not too saucy and cooked to perfection. The zesty chicken BBQ pizza is amazing 🤩 would recommend again to anyone in the area plus free delivery to ur hotel room. Simply amazing. We ordered over the phone and they even allowed us to pay with card when the pizza got here.

Wow.. surprised by all of the negative reviews.. ordered a cheese and pepperoni pizza for my son and I and a Greek pizza for my husband. Mine and my sons pizza was put together well, even had seasoning on top. My husbands was loaded with goodies, they even added artichoke hearts per his request. Website easy to navigate, Service was fast and the driver was extremely friendly. Sorry for the pics, we dug in before I could snap a pic! 🍕

We were nervous after reading some reviews, but decided to give them a shot since pretty much everywhere else was closed. I don't know what the negative reviewers were smoking but this place has some damn. Solid. Pizza. A decade of my food career has been in pizza, and these guys know what they're doing. Fast delivery, Andrew was out driver and did a fantastic job. Ignore the naysayers and give them a chance!

I was hesitant on trying this place mainly because of the bad reviews on here. They were the only restaurant who answered the phone. The pizza was actually very very good. I was very impressed with not only the time it took to get to me and the taste of the pizza. Despite what people say on here there is sauce on the pizza. It isn’t tomato slices like someone else said on here. I would recommend this place and will definitely get it again next time I stay in Mackinaw City.

A good informal dinner place with fascinating wildlife trophies throughout the dining area. We had a delicious wood-fired pizza that was wonderful. Great place to take the family. The fireplace is a wonder all by itself.

Pizza arrived faster than expected. Delivery guy was polite. Pizza was great & hand-tossed. Breadsticks were really good! Supplied paper plates, which was awesome! Overall, good experience! Recommend!

Got in after a long day on the motorcycles and did not want to go out again. Ordered from Papa Zo's and it was delicious. Had the chicken, bacon ranch pizza. Very tasty. The delivery guy was super friendly and the pizza arrived quite quickly. Really enjoyed this pizza.

Ordered online and took advantage of free delivery. We expected the pizza to take time, about 50 minutes...on a crowded Friday night. The time was reasonable, as we ordered when walking back. We ordered the Supreme and a pepperoni. The Supreme was soft, with fresh toppings. We eat pizza alot and this pizza was loved by all of us! The pepperoni was really good.

The only improvement is to go over with the pizza cutter again, for easier pulling apart.

Entertaining, beautiful place to eat with an Up North outdoorsy motif, with lights accentuating trees, etc. Beautiful - plus the food and service was excellent.

Ordered late Friday night, then we read the reviews so we didn't really expect to get our order lol. Our pizza showed up about 25 minutes later. The driver was really nice, even brought us paper plates. Our pizza was GREAT! I don't understand all the bad reviews? We would definitely order from them again.

A lot of the reviews out there rated Papa Zo's really poorly, and I have to disagree. I thought that the pizza was really good. I had the Zesty BBQ Chicken pizza, and it had really good flavor. For a thin crust pizza, it stayed together pretty well, and delivery was included in the price. We called about twenty minutes before closing on a Friday night, and we didn't have any issues getting our pizza or anything.

I don't understand the bad reviews either but my husband and I loved the pizza. The crust was thin and loaded with fresh, delicious toppings. It was not the typical fast food pizza and reminded us of a gourmet pizza. It took 45 min to an hour to be delivered as they told us even though it was stormy and raining. Came with napkins plates and we also were able to order a drink right to our hotel room. Great service and wonderful food that hit the spot!

I don’t think the below reviews are fair or accurate based on my great experience. Landed in town to find other pizza spots closed by 7 and other restaurants packed so despite the reviews I ordered delivery. Yes it took about an hour and a half but if nothing else is open I bet they’re busy. Great pizza. Hot and fresh. Friendly delivery and a good meal!

We ordered delivery to our hotel around 7. Pizza and salad there in 30 minutes. Delivery guy, Andrew, was amazing. Pizza was delish as was the salad. It was great. Don't understand all the bad reviews! Thanks Andrew and Papa Zo's!!

I agree with the very good.rating. As a matter of fact...we ordered at 8:30pm and they still said of course and delivered to our hotel. Then: when there was a mistake on the order...they said no problem...we will send out the new one right away..and they did. Both pizzas were delicious and we gifted the wrong one to our super hotel staff so it was a win win. My husband said it was the best anchovies pizza he has eaten in a long time and I do not eat a lot of pizza However I tried a piece and thought it was delicious....cheese was awesome

My first pizza from Papas was not to my little kids liking, a little too much spice. I called back and spoke with the Mgr. "Tommy". He took care of everything and gave me a new pizza that my kids loved! Thank you for the outstanding customer service! New pizza was delivered within 15 minutes. Once again thank you, you made our night!

My husband and I were on Mackinac Island all day and got back to our hotel around 11pm. We were exhausted and hungry! Decided to try this pizza place despite the horrible reviews. We got a medium bbq chicken pizza and the delivery was fast! Not only fast but they didn't charge delivery service. The pizza was hot and fresh the toppings were good and it was filling. For late night dinner it was very good!! Would definitely order from them again.

Love this restaurant. Great staff, excellent food. A most stop in Mackinac City.
