I do not understand why this restaurant has a 3.9 average for reviews on Google. It is a hole in the wall restaurant but the service was great and the burgers truly were some of the best burgers we have ever ate. we love stopping at diners when we are on vacation and this one did not disappoint. Highly highly recommended!

50’s drive in dining at its best. Attentive and courteous staff. We almost drove by this place to a chain restaurant. Glad we decided to give it a try. This was a great little diner with great food and atmosphere.

An adorable, very clean yummy diner. Highly highly recommend the fried mushrooms! Absolutely delicious. The burgers were great and the waffle fries were perfectly crispy.

Great burger, best fried mushrooms I've ever had. Fun place to eat. I love trying roadside burger places on road trips and this one was a good stop. Thow a nibble to the seagulls!

Deliciously, sloppy and tasty olive burger!! The chili cheese waffle fries are the best!! The diner is like a step back in time. The chef cooks right in front of you, the oldies are blaring, and the friendliness of the staff makes you feel welcomed and appreciated. Thanks for a great, memorable visit.

Yep, they have the World's Best Burger! Simple, but OH SO TASTY!! Cheese fries were the bomb as well! In the area for the first time, saw this place had great reviews, so tried it out. Indoor or outdoor seating, and it was such a beautiful day we chose to dine outdoors. What made the whole experience was the staff. Friendly, funny, and took time to chat. Definitely will revisit whenever we get back to the area! YUM!!

Nice quaint diner. My friend is a friend of the owner so we went to say Hi and he was out of town. :-( Had a veggie burger with blue cheese, it was very good. We were the only 2 people there, the cook and waiter were very accommodating and friendly. Rather small menu so best thing is to go for a burger.

I had the world's best burger here! Around the corner from the tourist traffic is a welcome change from main Mackinaw hustle. If you love burgers and conversation with the owner I highly recommend this restaurant!

First timers! Very nice place, was not even busy when we arrived for a late lunch while touring the city. Our waiter was super nice! Took our order and said it would be a few minutes. Brought it out, we got it to go. We both got the fish special, came with waffle fries. Tipped our waiter and he truly appreciated it, told us thank you and to have a great day, peace! All waiters should be that friendly 😊 Our food was so good, even the tater sauce was tasty. Next time we visit we plan to try their burgers!!

Little diner that states Worlds best burgers. That can always be debated but the burgers were some of the best I have had. Very tender and tasty. Also had the waffle fries with Chili and cheese theat were really good too. I will absolutely recommend them to someone looking for simple but tastes great .

Nice old fashioned style diner. The cook was funny and the food was extremely tasty. The service was good. I will definitely visit this place again next time we are up!!! Seriously, while it doesn't look like much on the outside, it is great. We had the blueberry french toast and it was very good!

Old school charm and delicious food! It's tucked a bit away from the strip; but, with the amount of locals going there we knew it would be great- and it did not disappoint.

The cook I think is the owner, and really nice, courteous, and friendly. This is the second time we've been here, and will continue to come back, as my family has for years. If you're looking for a nice quiet place to take your family for a fantastic meal ~ THIS IS THE PLACE!

We came for breakfast at 9 am. There were 9 of us. There was only 1 employee, he did a fantastic job of getting our drinks, taking our order, then cooking the food. Half of our party had burgers (yes at 9am), the rest breakfast. Menu is fairly small-6 items for breakfast, I think. Then various burgers, fries, tenders. Everyone had happy tummies and left with full bellies.

No joke when they said the best burger. It was the best burger of my life. I was up camping at a koa campground. We wanted a burger real bad, stopped at this place and glad I did. Also I wanted to mention and give a shout out to the cook and other staff. They were so friendly and nice. Cook took the time to talk with us, made sure we had everything. I just wish I lived closer. I would drive from bay city to get a burger from this great establishment. Thank u guys for the great food.

Friendly service, fun music and the food is made to order. Burgers are great, fries are nice and crispy. We came back for breakfast and that was great as well. Usually we come here every year for burgers, first year for breakfast . Everything was reasonably priced, cheaper than most other places in the City.

This was a great little diner with an awesome cook! He was super friendly and made some pretty good burgers. This was definitely the best burger I had in Mackinaw City. If you are looking for a quick place to grab some food with a 1950's/1960's feel this is your place. Come check my man out.

They advertised as the World's Best Hamburger so we had to try it. It reminds us of a great burger of the past so we called it a throw back burger. Grilled bun, crispy lettuce and a big juicy tomatoe!

Feels like you went back in time. Very friendly service. All the deep fried food that was ordered was not oily at all. I seen the staff sanitize everything properly. Great spot for a fast bite
