Ashmoor Campground

I love this area. While some claim the owner is rude, I disagree. I’m a single woman Rving and she was so kind to give me a place to rest. We had a nice talk. She even gave me travel tips and step by step helped me get set up. Awesome lady! The place is beautiful. I used electric only so I can’t say much about the water, but I hope to visit again.

Perfect for a night of rest and relaxation! Can't beat the location for proximity to the interstate, yet tucked away in a green spot with the chirping of birds to wake up to. We scored one of their many flat pull-through sites and hooked up to the electric, etc. All for $23.54 including tax. We called ahead a few hours before and the manager (owner?) met us at the gate to guide us to our spot with her riding lawn mower. Very nice, we'll mark it down for the next time we travel south!

Nice quiet campground. Level sites, pull thru large sites, inexpensive laundry. Management is very pleasant and efficient. I have enjoyed my stay here.There are a few spots that have long term stays and several overnights. I have found everyone very friendly here. Best bargain in 50 miles.

Just pulled in today on a days notice.
Kay who runs the place is a awesome lady, super knowledgeable and very nice.
Full hookups with 50 amp 30amp and lower.
Great lots pull thru and regular. Very quiet and nestled in alot of shade trees.
Easy to get in, I have a 38 foot triple axle 5th wheel toy hauler, no problems.

Have 5 stars because it a great full hookup campsite to stop for the night. Very resonably priced, 1 mile from interstate, quite, very clean, lawn mowed and pet friendly. Very level gravel sites with good electric (50 or 30 amp), sewer and water. We were in a motor home and did not use the facilities. Very close for eating and shopping. Exceptional motorhome parking at Denny's or Cracker Barrel. We will add this to our list of approved campsites and stop again when we are through this area.

A very nice place to stop overnight. Bathroom and one shower if you need them. It's run by a retired schoolteacher and the rates are very reasonable. I don't think they accept credit cards. The site's are level and have full hookups.

The site was adequate for resting for the night before traveling again.
Our spot was electric and water and only cost $23.50, but she only takes cash.

Clean, safe, electric hookup, water, shower, restroom, service with a smile, very reasonable. I am on a motorcycle with a popup with 6 dogs & a husband. We r extremely happy that we found this place! We have traveled from TN & up Atlantic coast to Chincoteague then to Dover DE & across to Lafayette IN to here. This is the only camp ground where we feel secure enough to leave some gear on the picnic table. Very satisfactory.

Very POSITIVE EXPERIENCE, well kept sites, and friendly staff. Pet friendly with sites for long term. Personal experience as customer for 20 years past November! Keep in mind dead beat renters may post negative reviews!

Staff are great managers always busy taking care of their campers needs. Help full is one needs assistance setting their RVs properly and fill propane tank if needed safely.

Great, quiet campground. Perfect small campground for 38’ 5th wheel. Easy pull in and out of a pull through site. Full hook up with 50amp. Nice and quiet. I’ll be back.

Great family run no thrills RV Park. Price per month includes water, electric and sewer. Onsite propane refill. The bulk of the campers are pull or 5th wheel. But I have a 40' Class A with my vehicle and had no problems. They are very good at keeping the riftraft out. Very quite. As of January 2019 the monthly fee is 350 USD. If your only staying a few nights I believe its 25 USD per day.

Ashmore is a small simple campground to spend a night or 6 months with your camping trailer or diesel pusher. They offer 20, 30, 50 amp service. Very clean quiet and really inexpensive. The rate depends on how long you stay. But the rate includes all your electricity, sewer and water. The only minus whatsoever is they do not offer Wi-Fi. The owners are very strict about noisy people and they keep out the riff-raff. It is a very safe quiet place to stay.

Grandma runs this place and what a lovely woman she is. It's a small campground but perfect for an overnight spot. Her rates are incredible. I'd happily pay more.

She took me in last minute. Incredibly nice, meet me at the gate and took me to my spot. Very happy to have a place for the night.

Owner is most friendly. Propane on site, trash pickup daily. Real close to food stores and other things you would need. Nice quite place.

Your first impression don't like that deter you from staying. Owners are extremely nice rates are good quiet peaceful no Riff Raff
