Scottsburg Raintree Lake KOA Holiday

Beautiful location. I stayed in a cabin for the weekend. It was clean and comfortable. Nice view of the water. Peaceful and quiet. Bathrooms and other facilities were extremely clean. Owner was very kind. I highly recommend this KOA for a getaway from the city.

Amazing place. Very nice sites. Super friendly staff. Very helpful and kind. Would stay again. Beautiful lake. Wife and I are loving our stay. Lots of extras like fishing poles if you don't have one. Nice little mini golf course. Nice dog park.

Campground is amazing, campsite is level and well maintained, staff is super friendly. We were so surprised to find grills supplied at the premium sites. Would highly recommend this campground!

We had a great time staying over the weekend. I liked that they just didn't hand us a map and point us in a direction, but physically drove on a golf cart ahead of us to show us where our destination was. They helped us back in and ensured we had the necessary knowledge and tools needed to connect our Pop-up.

Despite the cold of November, the kids still had plenty of activities to keep them occupied when they weren't around the campfire. The cement pads with fire pits were awesome, especially to keep our feet out of the cold grass. The fire pits were clean and well maintained.

I was truly impressed with the bathroom and how clean it was.
We spoke with the owner for a bit and you could tell he has a passion to make this a great place to stay. If you have any issues, just ask.

What a beautifully kept campground! Owners are absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to be helpful. So many amenities! Beautiful fire pit and picnic table. They even had a gas grill at the site! Will definitely stay again.

This is a new KOA campground. It has been open a year and a half. The owners were telling us the previous owns let it run down. This a new saltwater pool, very nice remodeled bathrooms, and showers. The landscaping is very tastefully done. We ended up with a very nice spot. They are located only 4 miles off of I-65, about 30 miles north of the Ohio River. There is a small lake that has catch and release fishing.

Mark and Marny were more than welcoming and accommodating during our stay. We rented out their camper for our stay so we could buddy camp with my sister and her husband. The owners had everything in place and running when we checked in. Aside from a few bumps which were quickly resolved, all was great with their camper. Our trip was for my disabled husband and I to rest which we did! The grounds were incredibly clean, as were the bath houses. Quite honestly, I have not met hosts as hospitable as these. I'd love to come back again someday to enjoy another restful trip and visit these amazing people.

I was only able to stay there one night but the transformation and improvements were immediately obvious to me as I had stayed there a few years earlier when it was under different ownership. It seemed like a different campground because it had been upgraded so much. There had certainly been a lot of time and money spent to fix things up. The owners were as helpful as they could possibly be and I will certainly be staying there again.

Super nice people, very clean and well maintained bathrooms. A lot of updates since I went there as a kid. Campsites are close but still peaceful atmosphere. Very nice and updated pool, (saltwater pool which is so much nicer than chlorine), playground and the music was a good time too. Putt putt was free, they had ladder ball available for anyone to use along with a giant chess board. Kayaks for rent, they borrow out fishing poles for free I think. Owners are top notch, we will be back again!

We had a lovely stay at this campground. The owners are wonderful and very sweet. We had an issue with our RV AC while we were there (during heat dome), and the owners son Grant came out quickly to help. The grounds and facilities are very clean, the pool was nice, had some outdoor games to keep our ten year old busy. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Our family stayed there for two nights on our way south from Wisconsin. The owners were great. You can tell they have been working hard to make this campground a great place to camp. We enjoyed chatting with the owners during our stay. The camp store was nice. The pool wasn't open yet for the season, but it looks like it would be fun. The sites were good and had nice grass. The owners had new sod in a lot of areas to make it even nicer. The kids and I went fishing. Had some bites. Lost a couple of hooks to a big bass under the fishing dock. That was a thrill. We would camp there again.

We stayed here just for the night on our way to our destination. We were greeted with a nice welcome to our campground. This facility is very nice, offers a bunch of amenities and everything is absolutely clean and neat. Our Goldendoodles enjoyed running around the doggie park. Thank you for a short but sweet stay.

We loved this KOA. It was our favorite on a multi KOA stops down to Tennessee. We only spent one night here but we wished we spent more. The staff was SO FRIENDLY and helpful. The saltwater pool was clean and in great shape. They also had other kid friendly activities that were included (large chess board, horseshoes, merry go round, mini golf, ladder golf, fishing and more. We got the patio pull through site and it was so nice. They included a grill station along with propane, table, umbrella and brick fire pit.

Clean bathrooms, showers, and campground. Marny & Mark, the new owners, have converted the camp to a KOA and are constantly improving the campground. Highly suggested KOA, especially for the traveling bicyclist.

This is a little hidden gem! Mark & Marnie were very accommodating to admit us into the campground prior to check-in. A storm hit the campground several nights prior and they were in the process of cleaning up. Very nice campground, new saltwater pool, pond on site, clean showers, quiet, close to town and lots of fun things for the kids to do. You can tell they love what they do. Don't bypass this campground!!!

Absolutely 5 star plus rating. Friendly, very helpful owners who went out of their way to assisted us with a mechanical issue. Very clean facility, all our KOA stays have been the very best experience. Thank you!

Great KOA. This KOA is run with the utmost professionalism. Their care to detail and customer service is very important to them and it shows. We stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. The WiFi is really good too.

Mark and Marny are the new owners. They are amazing. We went on a mother/ daughter's camping trip. We had such an amazing peaceful time. The weather was nice and it was just peaceful. Heading back in a few days for some realization for my 23 anniversary.

We broke down at a rest area near this campground. They were able to get us into a spot and even helped us level after the tow truck too our truck away. Staff all super nice.
