Scottsburg BMV Branch

We were in a hurry, and got to the branch shortly after they opened. We did not have to wait. We were in and out in about 10 -15 minutes. It was an unexpected visit, and although I didn't have the proper things for my address change on my new license, I still got what I needed to do taken care of . The lady who helped me was extremely nice,professional, and efficient.

I used to dread the BMV, and while I still do, not sure why. I guess it used to be terrible and have to wait and such. Over the past few years it’s been great. Sometimes costs me a lot of money but that’s not their doing… this location is always very quick and efficient.

We went in there just to register our new camper and truck- including our wait time, it only took about 5 min. She also suggesting checking my husbands account- and she found a credit on there and had a check processed for us! Wonderful experience- it’s hard to find that at the BMV!

They do what they need to serve you fast and efficiently. They understand you don't want to be there or hand over your money for another tax. They make it as painless as possible and get you in and out as quickly as possible. Update 2/2024, still efficient and moves through customers at a good pace. Staff that served me were knowledgeable and wasted no time getting me on the road. A system of taxes you have to pay and they process it efficiently.

I got lucky and went on a day they weren't busy. Didn't have to wait at all. Everyone I spoke with was very friendly.

I know it's supposed to be boring and annoying with rude employees at DMVs, but every time I've been here, everyone is always nice, and service is always really quick. I don't dread having to go back.

Very quick when I visited, only waited about 10 mins or a little longer before my number was called and got everything done quickly and efficiently. The staff was nice and worked hard to keep the environment clean and safe during this pandemic.

Everyone I dealt with was helpful and happy. You wouldn't expect a government bureaucracy to be helpful, but they were. I want to dump on them, but I can't. Thanks for the help.

This is by far my favorite BMV. They are always fast and friendly. I've never had to wait for more than a few minutes. Usually I'm in and out less than 15 minutes!

We made it through really quick. Which doesn't happen usually. But great service with a smile. Two thumbs up.

I got in alot faster than i thought i would. They were very busy but the employees was really fast at helping everyone as well as keeping everyone at a distance for covid safty guidelines.

The staff was very friendly a knowledgeable and most gracious considering the times we live in. I appreciate their cleaning efforts and considerations for the safety of their clients. Excellent!

I drive out of my way to go to the Scottsburg branch.They are so much more knowledgeable than the Madison branch. Thank you Alyssa for getting a title for my 1955 Sunbeam without requiring a letter from the pope.

I mean, it's the DMV, so it's pretty much what you expect. This DMV has very nice people who work inside. Also the line hasn't been too bad when I have been here.
