For the price you pay, the quality and verity of choices you get is amazing. Staff is on top of their game, keeping your table clear of plates. Host is friendly and willing to answer questions.
I normally approach buffets with caution as the food can be old and dry.
The have a new grill feature where you can choose your ingredients and they cook it in the kitchen for you to pick up.

Love how fresh the staff keep the food when we go. There is a pretty decent selection of food for being a smaller Chinese buffet, we actually prefer New China to Big Panda - even if they jave the same owners. My favorite is the coconut chicken and the crab rangoon. The atmosphere could be a bit better, but overall my husband and I go at least once a month!

Food was great. I love the fact you can get your own drink from a fountain machine.

Wonderful establishment! The staff is the most kind, and the buffet is consistently refreshed. A wide variety of options, as well. Highly recommend!

Probably my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. It's the same owners of Big Panda but the food here tastes better.

I go there with my family and it's a wonderful place for families who are need a place to eat the buffet is amazing with many interesting foods that I never tried before

It's NOT a fancy pants restaurant.

It's a casual dining experience.

It's super laid back & the staff is very kind and friendly.

They are SUPER affordable still.

They did up their prices, and we have been going for years now and we see more and more people and when they up the prices they make more changes.

Now they even have a Grill section where you can have it made kind of like other buffets, but you just can't see them.

It's not only affordable, but it's SUPER FAMILY & child friendly. You just need to watch your kiddos because they do have a lot of toys in their makeshift giftshop section.

Yes its not super decorated like other restaurents. No giant pond but the atmosphere and how its run is unique.

This place is super for the price. It's definitely a budget restaurant. The floors are slippery and greasy, but the food is hot and delicious.
They have my favorite chicken in the whole world. Their spicy pepper chicken I could eat myself sick on. So good.

Hands down by far one of the best Chinese Buffets around...this is a super clean restaurant and always have fresh food... And your drink is included.. Can't beat this place.. 👍👍👍👍

Buffets are a dying breed post Covid. We were passing through town on a road trip and happened to find this place on yelp. Great value Chinese food!! The flounder was really good! I was excited to see gizzards on the buffet as well. If you’re more into traditional Asian cuisine there’s plenty of options. I’m not expecting the world from a buffet that costs less than $10 including drink. This place really hit the spot though. Would def eat here again!!

We ate there around noon. Buffet was excellent. It had a wide arrangement of dishes that include shrimp, pork, and chicken but no beef. All were hot and well prepared. They had plastic gloves to use to keep hand off of serving utensils. They included a drink for 11 bucks or so. The fried chicken of all things was delicious. I had to stop eating it as I was at a Chinese restaurant. I tried about everything on the buffet. Everything was good to excellent. The almond cookie for dessert was good. The only negatives are the plates could have been picked up quicker and it was busy. Busy is good in this case as they did a wonderful job keeping the buffet well stocked and clean in appearance. Hats off to the owners for providing excellent quality food at a reasonable price.

Good value, convenient, the only thing annoyed me was one of the other customers decided to take all the shrimp from several different areas. However, I noticed that they were more shrimp back out there very quickly. The hot and sour soup was particularly good yesterday.

This will always rate near the top of my favorite Chinese buffets. Good fresh food, great ingredients, even if they do cater to the American preference for sweetness. Staff is friendly and quick, attentive to needs. Even better, drinks are included in the buffet price!!!! What they call pot stickers are actually steamed dumplings that use the same kind of filling as pot stickers. I only have a couple of issues with New China, and pretty much every Chinese buffet. The Hot and Sour soup, while good, has some of the sourness but none of the spice needed in a proper Hot and Sour. They use a standardized soup mix that I consider far below par. Also, very few dishes that claim to be spicy actually have any heat whatsoever to them. I like spice so when I eat Schezuan Chicken I want it to kick me a bit. American palates are weak and pathetic to the point I just don't condone how Chinese cooking has been so severely sweetened to appeal to the American appetite. When I prefer to diine at a Chinese restaurant, whether it is a sit and order or a buffet, I want authentic Chinese food. New China gets as close as it can for a buffet.

Food is always good and mostly fresh. No one is perfect but this place does a good job. Food areas are clean and staff is friendly. I have been here several times and always left satisfied.

Hands down my favorite china buffet. I've Been eating here for years now, and it isn't as good as the first time, or the 10th.. .. it's better! Highly recommend the lunch buffet, trust me when I say it stays fresh because people can't get enough.

First time here and the food was Delicious! Very affordable...Good variety..Staff was very pleasant...kept our table cleared off. This will be our go to when we have to come to South Bend.
