Melanie was absolutely great! She listened to my hair concerns and helped me choose the best cut/color that would be most beneficial. I walked out feeling refreshed and confident in my hair. Aside from being a great stylist, she was extremely sweet and a great person to talk to. Thank you so much Melanie, I love my hair now!

Melanie was the sweetest. I found her to be professional and personable. A rare combination. She did a really great job on my hair. She took the time to ask about me and what I wanted to do with my hair. I was very excited to show everyone my “new” hair when I left the salon. I will definitely be back for future services 😊

I absolutely love this place! Especially Emily she's so wonderful. I felt like I was getting my hair done by one of my girlfriends. She is super personable, funny, professional. Couldn't be happier with the results LOVE IT. Superb services but best of all extremely knowledgeable.

Melanie very easy to speak with. She took her time making sure I understood the technique when cutting my hair for short wispy layers. Her suggestion of low lights and highlights were spot on. I enjoyed the atmosphere at the salon. I will definitely be back. With Melanie.

The staff here are all super knowledgeable and friendly, and all are amazing at what they do. I always walk out of the salon thrilled with my hair. I've been going here for around 2 years now to get my vivids done, and have been incredibly happy with the service.

Melanie took time explaining why she was going to cut my hair in a different way than my previous stylist. The end results are fantastic. Together we set out a plan of letting my hair grow out to get the ultimate style I’m looking for.

Melanie was SO wonderful! I tried out Avalon Salon for the first time after being on the hunt for the perfect stylist to meet my needs. I have a chaotic schedule and booking was convenient online and I was able to get in for an appointment during evening hours. Melanie was extremely attentive and was happy to help with my big change. This was my first time at this Salon along with my 12 yr old daughter.Our hair artist was Melanie.I told her what I wanted and she made it happen!! She reassured me it was going to look cute and it was.(mid-lengh hair to shoulder length cut).I felt like a brand new penny afterwards! Now for my daughter she wanted about 6in cut off from her long hair and one side of her head shaved(not all just some for that punk look) Melanie was asking her how she liked it and was very patient with her..The best part about my experience is how the next day I went to work an I was showerd with compliments on my new hair cut!! That's when you know you've got a good hair artist!! Thank you again Melanie we will be coming back for sure!! Carissa

Paige is the first and only person in my whole life to have ever cut my hair in the style that I had shown to her... and it was really well done and loved! I'm keeping her! =) The rest of the staff are always friendly and the salon is always clean. Love it here!

Paige was wonderful! She was so nice and friendly. she really made me feel like she truly cares about my hair. Not only did she care about my hair, she did an awesome job and just the whole experience was awesome. I will be back to see her in 5 weeks and I can’t wait.

Kim had been doing my hair for almost 11 years, she just moved to the crystal lake location, without hesitation I followed her there. I never give her direction, even through she always asks, my hair looks amazing every time! I always look forward to seeing her not only for the great job she does but also for a special friendship that we have developed over the years.

Upon entering Avalon I was greeted and the wait was non-existent. I met with Paige who was chosen as my stylist for that day. Paige was kind and knowledgeable; She answered many questions that I had regarding haircare and product advice. She cut and colored my hair in what I felt was a very short amount of time due to our enjoyable conversation. She washed my hair (it felt like heaven!) and styled it using strictly vegan and cruelty free products. The vision I had for my hair came to light in front of my eyes! My hair turned out absolutely incredible and I will be a permanent client for as long as possible!
