Very nice little coffee spot with great java!! It is located inside Gonzalez grocery in the back of the store. They created a nice space to sit and relax and enjoy your choice of tea or coffee.I love it next time I am in the area I will stop in again(added bonus they have pastries)

This coffee shop is inside the Gonzales super market. It has such a nice lax vibe. The gentleman who helped us was cool and helpful. Their menu is very abstract. A creative mind definitely made it. You can get simple beverages, however, I personally like to try unique items pertaining to whatever place I’m trying. So I got a smoked (as in the espresso was smoked) brown sugar and cinnamon latte with coconut milk. My counterpart got a caramel and raspberry latte. We also got a walnut muffin with cream cheese frosting to share. Let me tell you, everything was delicious. The lattes were perfectly sweet in my opinion. Most places in my experience tend to be way too sweet, but here it was semi sweet so it complimented the coffee really well as you can actually taste the coffee. The muffin was yummy as the cream cheese frosting provided most of the sweetness so it wasn’t over bearing as well. All and all a great coffee shop!

Highly Recommend: coffee was great and different choices. It is inside the Gonzales grocery store. Maybe the only downside to having to go through it to get to the coffee shop, though the grocery store is pretty nice, just wish there was door right to coffee shop open.

My new favorite coffee shop, located in the back of Gonzalez Supermercado. Amazing vibes, amazing coffee. I plan on coming back to try all their summer menus. The atmosphere is chill and the owner is very nice and passionate about his work. I tried the Raspberry and Caramel Iced Latte. Smooth and not too sweet. The caramel is out of this world.

This place is an independent business out of Chicago and into waukegan, providing different fresh delicious coffee not offered by many coffee shops nearby and they're socially minded, even the bagged coffee you buy will have you hooked! I have been buying coffee from them a few at a time for months!

First time here. The barista was lovely. It had a cool vibe. The coffees I tried were delicious. I got an iced caramel and vanilla latte & a hot abuelita latte. Planning to come back to try more of their delicious drinks.

Stopped here on my way back to Milwaukee and I absolutely love it. Will definitely be back!

Located inside the Supermercado Gonzalez, Drip and Culture has a cute little corner for the coffee and tea lovers. Definitely gives off a coffee shop speakeasy vibe. They have a few seats for customers and some shelves with knick-knacks available for purchase.

The menu has plenty of options (I love the unique choices, such as the Ube Matcha 😋). The staff is super friendly and the service was speedy.

If you’re in the area, definitely check out this hidden gem 💎

The smoked iced caramel nitro I ordered was the best coffee I have ever had in my life in or out of the states. The owner was incredibly friendly, easy to talk to and an excellent host. To top it all of the market and food here is incredible. Make the stop here, you will be glad you did.

I came in near closing and was still greeted and served with great customer service from Jay. The space is decorated very well and reflects the intention of the grocery store. The matcha I ordered was delicious. I finished it before I left the parking lot which was my bad ! Jay’s recommendation of a resturant also turned out to be a great one. When I’m in the area I will stop in again. Thank you Jay and Drip and Culture.

After dropping the kids at Six Flags it’s a great spot to do some work. It’s tiny and tucked in the back of a Mexican supermarket. It seems like a weakness but really it’s a cool setup if you can take a little commotion. Best of all, stay for lunch and have super fresh Mexican food prepared at the lunch counter next to the coffee shop. Good coffee, wifi, friendly people, and personality. Love it.

My husband and I moved from Seattle to Chicago almost 2 years ago now. We ended up staying at an Airbnb in Waukegan while we waited to close on our house. We were in walking distance to this coffee shop. As a coffee enthusiast and having lived in Seattle over a decade, I've been to MANY coffee shops. This is one of my favorites. The drinks are out of this world good! You cannot go wrong ordering and trying anything on the menu. I'm also obsessed with the Thomas Street coffee that they sell. We now live about 40 min away from Waukegan and I think about this coffee shop almost every Saturday when I wake up and I want specialty coffee. The owner and everyone that works there are also the nicest people all around. LOVE how it's styled, love the merch, the stickers, everything!

Took a while for us to get service but I love supporting local businesses. Located inside a supermarket this spot is very much a place of its own too! Really cool spot and decorated nicely. Service was nice and welcoming, I went with a iced mango matcha latte and it was very refreshing and something I’ve never had. Glad I went with it and became one of my faves.

Words cannot describe how much this place means to me, or this town. Drip and culture is an amazing coffee shop located in the back of González Supermercado off of Grand in Waukegan. Being born and raised here, I’ve been going here with my mother since I was young. Adam, the owner, absolutely slam dunked on his vision with this coffee shop. The ambiance is something that goes unmatched especially in todays age where it feels like everywhere else bends to trends. At Drip and Culture they are really good at flowing with these trends and spinning things to make them their own. His wife, Nydia has a really sick shop upstairs(GATHR) where you can find some really neat stuff. Great place to shop for gifts. On the weekend you can usually find some sort of home made baked good or sweet treat. All the desserts are super duper fire and $leep certified. Sundays they got some really fire empanadas, from a local woman named Brenda(her brand is Queen B). If you’re not a coffee drinker they got really refreshing drinks as well. But the coffee is definitely the best I’ve ever had. I fell in love with the Ube latte and it’s hard not to get it every time I go. But they do have a really good summer menu so I’m excited to try all the new drinks! Definitely sign up for the rewards program you can save a lot of money by earning those points! Shout out Drip and Culture for uplifting our community! We see the vision you have and the path you’ve laid ! Thank you for making our home town more like home.

Found this place while on a trip recently. Stopped in for a coffee, which was so good! Had a great conversation with the barista/owner that I pondered for the rest of the day. The market this is located inside of is also wonderful - would definitely stop here again!

This is a cozy coffee shop tucked away in the Gonzalez Supermercado. Staff is awesome, and the coffee is amazing. I got the ube macchiatto, and my friend got the honey lavender latte. We sat and chatted for a bit while enjoying our coffee. I love the atmosphere here.

It's difficult to pull off the eclectic coffee shop vibe and still come across original, yet this place pulls it off. The owner and his staff are knowledgeable and can adapt to those with or without a sweet tooth affinity for their brew. The juxtaposition to authentic Mexican cuisine is a pairing I didn't know I needed...but now I know (and knowing is half the battle). Even further however is the huge presence in their community. The "socially-minded" part isn't an empty slogan to attract hipsters or people looking to virtue signal. They are active!!! This is how a small business should exist not just a coffee shop. And I can't forget the dope clothes, crafts, and art available hand made by the Mrs of the operation. The acolades are well deserved. Keep brewin it and doin it, yall!

Cool coffee shop. Their coffee is great. They have drinks combinations I've never seen before. Highly recommend stopping by. They were very nice too. It's located in the back of a grocery store, but the store was one way so it was easy to find.

The best cup of Joe in town that's run by such a lovely family 💜 their menu contains a wide variety of flavors from several different cultures. Best plane to grab an Ube cup of joe with boba. 10/10 for a coffee house comfy vibe
