Super 8 by Wyndham Crystal Lake

My daughters school stayed here for a school event and she left her stanley cup in the fridge and they had left and checked out already and could not go back to get it. I called and asked them to look in the room and was told the manager would call me back and let me know about mailing it to me. I just picked it up from the post office today. He didn't have to do it, he went above and beyond and I very much appreciate it!!

Sam (receptionist) and Ryan (maintenance) are so helpful and truly do everything they can to help their customers. Sam has helped us with getting the lowest rate possible while also has been helpful with extending over the phone while I was not in the area for a few hours. Ryan is always willing to help with anything you ask, and is super friendly. This hotel is a great, affordable, dog friendly place and I would recommend it to anyone.

Reserved a room ahead of time. Very affordable and clean rooms. Was given a handicap room which has been the best we've stayed in yet. The desk clerk was very helpful and friendly.

Sam at the front desk was wonderful, accommodating and friendly. We are Wyndham discovery owners and found this since it’s a Wyndham affiliate. Price, location for our stay, restaurants, shops.....very close. Quiet and safe. We visited from Florida and needed our own space. This will be our stop for future visits.

Very clean,tidy and quiet. Staff is friendly and helpful and even let us check in early when our travel time was quicker than we'd anticipated. I would definitely stay here again(also it's right next to downtown Crystal Lake so you can get to anything in the area quickly).

I really enjoy staying here overnight from time to time. Very casual laidback atmosphere. Very laidback and friendly staff. I saw a sign there that pets are welcome to stay. I have two kittens. I havent brought them there but its nice to know I have that privilege available. The rooms are nice and comfortable. I love the comfortability of the beds. They provide continental breakfasts which is a great treat. I love continental breakfasts.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was basic budget hotel. Our room was clean. Hotel is located directly beside a McDonald's. Rooms do have bathtubs. Hotel doesn't have laundry on site unfortunately. Hotel is located in a quiet area. I would recommend this hotel.

My father of 82 years who has a hard time getting around, had been displaced by the flood in the Fox River area. My home was to far and has too many stairs. I was afraid if I brought him home he would've fallen and would have then really be in bad shape. Aseri was very accommodating. My dad also has a dog. The room was kept up at 12:00 each day for a week. Aseri and they're staff were very professional. Thank you Super 8 for being there for him .

Great location, friendly staff, reasonable pricing, still a little limited by Covid [no real breakfast, not even next door at McDonalds], but comfortable, quiet, and so many amenities right nearby.

Stay here ! I like Super 8 to begin with but the rooms in this one are alot nicer. Good location too.
Based on older reviews I would say they have turned things around

I have never had such a friendly staff. This hotel goes out of their way to make everything great. It has become my go to place.

Believe it or not this Super 8 is extremely comfortable my only complaint would be the water drained extremely slow while showering but other than that the front desk staff friendly enough accommodating not bad for the price

Great stay, room key card reader not working very well in our room but no complaints other than that.

This hotel was extremely clean and in walking distance of just about every store you can think of. Definitely worth the money.

It is quiet there and they have great parking also located next door to McDonald's that is open 24/7 drive-thru and dine in which is very convenient

The quietest Hotel I've ever been and I've been to a lot of hotels, it might have been just the time frame but it was quiet
