Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Crystal Lake, IL

My girlfriend and I arrived at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Crystal Lake, IL, and were met with a warm, friendly, welcoming-greeting at the desk by Justin. We were at the desk for less than two minutes while he thoroughly explained how to use the key cards, the location of the vending machines, and the hours of operation for the breakfast, fitness, and pool areas. I enjoyed my time at the Country Inn Suites and the room I booked was amazing. The breakfast was delicious as well and the hotel was very clean. I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to stay somewhere with friendly staff who accommodates their clients. Great job everyone. Especially you Justin!

My wife and I stayed for 5 days while visiting family. The staff Justin and Brenda were the best very friendly and helpful. It was nice to have a hot breakfast every morning which wasn't a grab and go bag of sugar (some hotels have fruit bars and yogurt which is all sugar). the location was perfect as well is the price. we will stay there again.

We did a last-minute walk-in for a 4-day stay and we’re greeted by Brenda at the reception desk. She was wonderful! Courteous and efficient. I hope her service is appreciated by Country Inn because we appreciated it immensely.

I stayed a couple of nights here this past weekend, Saturday to Monday, and Saturday and Sunday were fine; it's not some grand historic resort hotel, but it doesn't claim to be and does a good job at being what it advertises itself as. Had Sunday gone the same way, I'd have been quite satisfied with my stay and expected to book here again were I in the area again, but I probably wouldn't have bothered writing a review.

However, on Saturday night I ate out and accidentally set off my rather cantankerous digestive system; I was still feeling ill the next morning and was increasingly concerned about how ill I'd still be feeling after my checkout time. I called the front desk from my room, though, and was able to very easily work out, with the understanding and sympathetic staff, staying for however much more of the day I needed, for a quite reasonable fee. Now, I assume they wouldn't have been able to do this if the type of room I had was fully booked that night, but they also didn't _have_ to do it just because they could; I'd have considered it fair if they'd just said that unfortunately they couldn't make any exceptions and I had to check out at the time on my reservation, feeling ill or not, or pay the cost of an entire extra night even if I still checked out in the afternoon. Instead, thanks to them I was able to stay several hours longer, recovering in the privacy and comfort of my room, which made the day _much_ easier and even allowed me to salvage some of my plans for it I might not have been able to otherwise. That elevated the hotel above just a satisfactory background for that part of the trip to something I much more actively appreciate, hence this review.

Everything in this hotel was awesome..front desk check in was great and housekeeping was amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Also pool was under maintenance so the gm sent email stating so there was no surprises, very good job on that.

I was here for a conference last weekend. The hotel where the conference was held, sold out. So, I picked the closest hotel to the venue which was Country Inn&Suites. The room was clean and nice. The customer service was also very good. My stay was 4 days, I was quite pleased! Thank you Country Inn and Suites by Radisson!! I strongly recommend this hotel!

Staff here are exceptionally friendly and accomodating. My room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is your typical continental but good and also has a good variety. Pool is exceptionally clean as is the gym with well maintained equipment.

Your reviews are what made me choose your hotel. Even the complainers had good things to say about your staff. The biggest consideration to me when traveling is customer service. Your staff have mastered it. No doubt.

Incredible staff and Hotel. Room was spacious and clean, watched a couple of movies shower had great water pressure . The people there made a huge difference we left an important small pillow there. It belonged to my daughter who had just left the hospital. She has had that pillow for 12 yrs! The staff found it and helped us get it back. All during our time they were great. Breakfast was longer than most places as well. Would recommend that location for any outing from work to family.

This place was luxury. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable. The people at the front desk were very friendly, as was the GM. Loved having the theater and a great resturant nearby!

This place is absolutely wonderful! We stopped here in the middle of our road trip and the location is great and safe! The rooms are super clean and spacious and bug free! The bathroom has everything you need and there’s a complimentary breakfast and the price was great for students like us!

This is my second time back at this hotel, and both trips have been wonderful. This time, I actually made a mistake on my reservation and it could've been a big hassle -- but Brenda at the front desk was phenomenal and helped fix it incredibly quickly. She was so polite and accommodating throughout the experience. These are the types of experiences I always remember when booking hotels...and I won't forget next time I'm in town!

The front desk employee was so helpful and kind. I wish I got her name. She worked the evening of 4/21/23. She was proactive in making sure we had towels for the pool and also ensuring that the rogue teens in the hallways were keeping quiet for the other guests. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The breakfast had many options and was kept well stocked and clean. Thank you!

I have gone to this place ever since i was a little kid. And this place has always been awesome. Recently they re-did the whole theme of the hotel (which i dont really like but it will probably grow on me). The pool and hot tub are always the perfect temperature, and the rooms never smell bad. The breakfast here is also really good. I would reccomend this place.

We had a small incident with my nephew and Brenda was a great help!!! She needs a promotion. She came out to see if we were ok. Brought a juice for my nephew. Great lady help me get a hold of my sister in law. Wonderful!!!!!

This hotel has such an incredible staff that did everything to make my stay first class. I had several positive interactions with the front desk staff. The housekeeper helped me carry some groceries to my room (wow) without asking. The staff making breakfast went and got some fresh food out for my dad after we arrived right as they closed. The pool is huge for a hotel and my nephew loved splashing around in it. Absolutely amazing! I'd recommend this place every time.

Front Desk staff at night was very polite and very helpful.. Our reservations accidentally got booked on the wrong night. Very accommodating and found us a room. Staff opened lounge in the middle of the night so that we could utilize the tables to eat. Extended stay suite was huge and it was very comfortable. Continental breakfast was great with multiple choices and good food. Hotel going through a full remodel and has a very nice atmosphere. Definitely exceeded my expectations.

Really appreciate the experience the front desk staff provided (notably Ian). We just had a sudden death in the family and needed a last minute room for 4 people in the middle of the night. I mentioned our rough night to Ian and his top tier customer service made us all very happy we chose this hotel. Also the continental breakfast had a great selection. Very fair pricing and clean rooms with comfortable beds/pillows. Thanks again Ian, we were all grateful for your kindness 😊

We came late after a long drive, and they managed to get us a room, even when the hotel was packed. The people at the front desk were patient and kind and helpful, and the rooms were very clean-Fresh sheets, clean carpet, clean bathroom. The hotel looked very well taken care of from both the outside and the front lobby. We’d definitely stay here again.

I've been here 10 days and these people are great. All staff, including housekeeping, are super helpful, nice, and friendly. Which is unusual in my experience. This hotel is good quality, the breakfast is great quality and choices, having cooked food as well, and I recommend to anyone who wants a nice stay.

THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE OUT THERE. Every staff member I encountered was absolutely great. This is exactly what customer service should be. The room was clean. Continental breakfast was great everyday. Nice quiet location 1 block off the main road. I love the assistance button in each stairway.
