Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago/Schaumburg

I came here to write a review mostly because I was so impressed with the customer service at this location, particularly with Justin at the front desk. He was incredibly friendly and welcoming upon our arrival. The first evening of our stay, we ended up having a small problem with our room and he remedied it quickly and professionally.

The location of this hotel is great. It was an easy drive into Chicago and right next to a nice mall with fun food options. Would stay here again.

Clean hotel. Friendly stafff. Decent free breakfast. Spacious rooms. All and all no issues with this hotel other than there really isn’t much in walking distance except Granite City Grill. Woodfield Mall is walking distance but it’s a pretty long walk. I have stayed in worse…but I have stayed in better also.

Justin at the front desk was joyful,amazing,and very funny. He would greet people that were going back into the hotel and asking how their stay was going. When people were heading out of the hotel he would be very kind and ask if they wanted water. Overall I would rate this hotel a 1 billion out of 10 because the staff are beyond amazing. I recommend this hotel 100 percent.

The staff at this Hampton had the best hospitality I’ve experienced at any Hilton brand hotel. Especially impressed with Justin at the front desk who went above and beyond to make everyone even our kids checking in feel special. He should probably teach a class to other Hilton employees all over the US because I’ve been a Hilton member for many years and hadn’t meet anyone more dedicated to selling the Hilton experience than him. Anytime we stay in the Chicago area it will definitely be here.

Wowed. Justin at the front desk took pity on my whole crew by allowing early check in. He also ensured our rooms together! Love the clean rooms and pool area. Highly recommend this hotel.

This was my first time in Schaumburg, IL. And the First night will probably a memorable one, as my daughter got stuck in the bathroom due to the door being jammed and it unable to open & the fire department had to be called to open the sliding door. My daughter and I are still laughing about it, however I just want to thank “Shaina” who was working the night shift, who was so calmed and professional about the situation. She handled it well! I was working the morning shift front desk (guy with tattoos) and even though the rooms weren’t ready for me to transfer. They kept me updated on the process! You both did amazing. & I will come back as a customer! I was not disappointed. :) thank you for your professionalism & service!!
Con: I really just wish people understand, this is summer time and we all want vacation away from our homes. I know we all have young ones but. It’s rude to put “notes” on other peoples door , (it was not my door) however, I saw it on my way back to our rooms after my girls and I went to the pool. , I understand because it’s “quiet time” people need sleep but keep in mind others also on vacation.you Have to realize, “you’re not at HOME!!!” It’s the weekend! Not a business day!
Not all of us are purposely trying to stomp around your surroundings. Keep in mind , they’re children! Not everyone are doing these kinds of these on purpose.

It was a Great Experience staying at this Hampton Inn near the Woodfield Mall.

This trip was for family business and from the first phone call when Jason took charge of setting up my dates and answering questions. Very friendly and a Pro at his job.

Another Pro was Justin, who worked the front desk when I arrived. He had a real knack for remembering guests names, which was impressive. Justin covered all the bases to make sure my room and the amenities were on target and he was excellent.

I highly recommend this Hampton Inn if you want great service and the confidence of a staff that is really sharp.

Justin, the front desk guy, sang to us as we entered, was very detailed with things to do in the area and was overall a great guy. The area is convenient next to a mall and a lot of different restaurants. Free breakfast, clean, and actually one of the first hotels that gave me more than 2 towels.

I was really hoping the hotel sent me a survey so I could brag on Jason and Anthony. I checked in late Friday night. I was tired exhausted and annoyed. I busted wanted to sleep and not talk to anyone. When I got to my room I was a little disappointed because it said the room came with snacks, and I was starving as no restaurants were open. When I asked Anthony about the snacks and he had me come down and get something from the pantry. Next thing you know we were laughing and talking. His positive energy transferred to me and I promise something so small made a big difference. Then Jason, he smiles every time we talked. I was training virtually and needed a late check out and he added one with no problem. At check out I was still on my training session and he allowed me to use the business center with no problem. So again something so small made me happy. So again thanks gentleman.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Inn and the service was exceptional. Anthony was able to provide everything I needed to make this stay feel like home. The day time staff is extremely friendly and makes a great effort to learn the names of their guests. Definitely recommend staying here.

Not our first stay here. Great place and comfortable surroundings! The front desk staff was so helpful!

My daughter and her dance team had nationals during our visit. This hotel was well priced and in a very short drive to where we needed to be. Breakfast had a variety of items to choose from. Pool seemed decent as well daughter definitely had no complaints. my only downfall is the pillows. They were very clumpy so made it hard to get comfortable. Also the bathroom doors are sliding doors, no locks. So that also was a bummer. Otherwise our stay was nice.

This hotel is clean and modern and in a great location. Close to the expressway and shopping and restaurants. Great breakfast and everyone at the front desk was so friendly and helpful - especially Jabori. I will definitely stay again.

Justin at the front desk is clearly extremely knowledgeable, very helpful, and he’s a real friendly face.

Checkmarks in all the right columns for this place. Nothing over the top or extremely fancy, just a solid hotel as you would expect from Hilton. Clean, comfortable and excellent service. Tony, went above and beyond.

This hotel was beautiful. I loved all of the pictures of Chicago around the hotel. The color scheme was pleasing to the eye. The complementary breakfast had a lot of choices. They had different hot food options on Saturday than on Friday. There were mini waffles, hot oatmeal (w/ lots of toppings), hot eggs, sausage, potatoe chuncks, granola, cereal, muffins, Danish, 2 kinds of bread, yogurt, 3 kinds of fruit, and juice.
We got a double queen room. It was a spacious room with a mini fridge and 3 metal rack pull out drawers. There were 2 desks with seating, and a lot of outlets!
They have a cute little treat shop with soda, ice cream, frozen dinners, sour patch kids, all kinds of goodies.
There is a pool but it is tiny and the water was ice cold. There is a business center available, a meeting room (which we used for our conference), and a fitness center. The fitness center was very nice.. I enjoyed going in and walking on the treadmill after a big dinner. They have towels in there.
The meeting room has a nice wall to wall length counter in it. It has tables and chairs. But they don't have a podem for speakers.
This hotel is in the center of so many places to eat and shop within 3-8 minutes of driving.

We are members of Hilton points, but I just want to say the past three times we have been there. Jason has been the guest host at the front desk and he couldn’t be more friendly, polite and informative. Thanks, Jason!!!

The front desk staff was very welcoming. The room was very clean and surprisingly quiet. The breakfast was very nice. The staff would bring out fresh food throughout the entire breakfast time. I will be staying there again next time I am in town!

Clean room. Comfy bed. Polite and helpful front desk staff. Good breakfast. Generally a very lovely stay!

10/19/23 update - new staff thought the pet fee was per night not per stay which resulted in almost being overcharged. Jason rectified the error.
