Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Schaumburg/Woodfield Mall

This is an excellent property. The rooms are functional and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, as well. The staff is excellent especially Carlos, Claudia, Elizabeth, Emerson and Susan. Claudia, whose exceptional customer service has been referenced in previous reviews is exceptional. She had created these welcome bags for Rewards Members that was the most creative that I have encountered in over 25 years of travel. This young lady will be a future CEO of Marriott International. I highly recommend this property!

We stayed at this hotel for a hockey tournament and the hotel staff provided top notch hospitality! Each staff member were always very helpful and ready to help if we had a request. The rooms were all prepared for our arrival and the check in/out process was effortless! If an entire team can boast about their stay at the hotel and that it exceeded their expectations….that in itself is huge! Thank you!

As a frequent traveler around the world, this Courtyard Hotel excels in guest service, specially Toni at the front desk. Anything i need she'll always help out. The area is surrounded by great stores and restaurants. Building is kept in top conditions and everytime i get great rest for comfortable and quiet rooms. One of my favorite hotels in the Continent for sure.

I never met a more friendly and welcoming couple of ladies at a hotel, especially in the mist of chaos. My flight was cancelled and just about everyone ended up checking in at the hotel at the same time. There was only one receptionist (Toni) scheduled and she was doing an amazing job checking everyone in by herself but then out of the blue Tawanna comes back, jumps right in to help and the line literally disappears. They were pleasant with EVERY person that came in and this was not midday, this is at 1AM in the morning. Just an amazing experience after a very long day!

During my many stays at the Marriott Courtyard Schaumburg, Tyler has always treated me with kindness and caring.
He is truly kind-hearted and attentive to his guests and employees. His employees, especially Toni, speak so very highly of him.
When speaking with Tyler, he is always patient, maintaining eye contact letting you know that he really cares about what you are saying.
Tyler is such a gentle, compassionate individual. I only wish there were more young men like Tyler in this world today. I have the utmost respect for Tyler.

Just hosted a retreat for 150 people. The Sales team was incredible! Mayrel and Melissa were communicative, flexible and did everything possible to make sure we were set up for success. The operations and front desk team made sure the room was clean and stocked through the 2 days. They let us take over the entire lobby for breakout sessions and supported the team in room accommodations. We appreciate their support, flexibility and ability to accommodate us! The catering was delicious, everyone enjoyed it and appreciated the bistro opening early for a social hour. Truly a great way to kick off back to school season!

Holy wow, I am in love with this Marriott! Melissa has done a beautiful job, taking care of all the little details for our reunion gathering. We got a great group rate and the rooms are perfect. What is extra special is being greeted at the front desk by the legendary Tawanna! All the other positive reviews about her are completely accurate! She totally hooked me up with extra washcloths and water bottles and has just been a dream, handling every little detail of my stay. The restaurant has enough choices to make breakfast, lunch and early dinner just what you needed. And the beverages are top notch! Thank you Hector! When you are a guest here, you can purchase a $10 breakfast voucher, then choose any breakfast entrée and save a little cheddar! Also, Perla made me a London fog this morning, so yummy! I highly recommend staying here!

I have stayed at other courtyards before but this one stands out because of the staff! They go the extra mile to make you feel at home! Tawanna at the front desk is amazing! I would definitely return.

This was one of the best stays I have had in a while. They were pretty tucked away in their location that I found them perfect. They were within walking distance to restaurants and entertainment. They had a quant little bar/Starbucks that was perfect except the food and drinks were heavily overpriced. They had a cute little gift shop and backyard lounge area. Pool was a little small but wasn’t crazy busy. The room was a great size for 6 of us and suited its purpose for our vacay to Wrigley Field and nearby Medina. Prices were decent and the staff were great. Everyone smiled and always asked how they could help. Love Marriott and would definitely stay again.

Where this hotel shines is not only in the literal cleanliness of the rooms and lobby, but in the friendliness of the staff. Everyone was upbeat at all hours of the day, and made sure that everything with the room or otherwise was taken care of. The bistro on the ground floor is also quite good. I had the breakfast burrito on my first day and the loaded tots on the second, and both meals were very filling and quite tasty. Definitely an improvement from the breakfasts offered at other hotels. The lobby was also nice and spatious, with plenty of space for me and some coworkers to meet up. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay, and would strongly recommend staying at this hotel.

I stay here every time I am traveling to Schaumburg, great location and Hector the bartender is always so great with service! Comfortable beds, clean and affordable.

Toni was absolutely amazing at check in. I had issue after issue during my travels, but when I got to this Marriot the front desk attendant, Toni, was there to greet me. Toni’s energy and customer service was a perfect way to end the day. She was extremely respectful and got me into my room quick! Highly recommend checking in after midnight so you can meet Toni for a smile. Thank you Toni!

Great location and great staff. The customer focus is second to none. Tawanna is always so happy to greet you at the end of your day. If could be raining outside and she’s so happy to welcome you back home. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff is wonderful. Rooms are kep in decent shape for the age of the building. Limited food and drinks options.

Toni, wonderful lady working the reception area during the night shift is simply wonderful. She is a credit to your company and should be recognized as such. Thank You for a great stay.

I’m here to post about the lovely receptionist Tawanna who happily took care of a line of us who had flights cancelled from the airport. She was nice and got us taken care of quickly with a smile. Really appreciated after bad news.

Toni was also very friendly in the morning and even helped a lady out to her taxi as she had difficulty walking.

Room was great and comfortable for the night.

Toni, Toni, Toni... If you get a chance to visit this hotel, I guarantee you will be amazed by their staff! Right when my husband and I arrived, Toni was immediately kind. She helped us find our room with a smile and was extremely professional. The next morning, I needed coffee. She made me a cup! In all the hotels we have stayed, I've never encountered anyone quite like her. Claudia, who works up front, was super personable as well, I was having a rough bout, and she was amazingly helpful. Just all-around great experience.
The staff alone make this hotel worth every dime.

Tawana was so warm and welcoming at check-in. The rooms are a little dated but comfortable and clean. The driveway needs to be repaved, but the parking lot has plenty of spaces. Overall, a very comfortable and consistent place to stay.
