Hyatt House Chicago/Schaumburg

Location: if you’re visiting Chicago, there’s tons of fun stores and restaurants in Uber distance for cheap. Asian restaurants and super markets, malls, thrift and such.
Pool: sauna is so amazing and calming, pool is a nice size. Only thing I wish they changed about it is leaving it open 24/7 with maybe adult swim hours, like no kids after 9 pm but open all night. Why? 1. Adults should be able to be trusted to swim at night and 2. People don’t control their bad kids, they ruin the daylight swim hours. Left more then once because of the bad loud kids, so adult only hours would be sweet
Rooms: shower was smaller than I expected/less quality then expected but the bed was the softest most plush I’ve ever slept on. The couch is perfect for watching movies late at night. Thermostat works well. Maybe more lighting and plug options for those of us who need to do hair and makeup would be nice?
Breakfast: amazing, never missed it, would wake up early just for it.
Staff: kind and helpful, professional.

Hotel of good standard. Inside it looks renovated everywhere. Clean, tidy and nice and subtle service. To be honest, it's nice here.

I have been booking the meeting room and staying at this hotel for over 2 years. Their meeting room is great. I included a pic of our meeting with 40 people. I will say that 40 is pushing the max in this space. They offer a TV up front, it's clean and the service is incredible. The hotel rooms were fine and our attendees never complained. Breakfast was also very good in the morning, Delicious hot coffee. Thank you for always making us feel welcome and big shout out to Frank, their inside sales guy got going above and beyond!

I wanted to thank Peter he was very nice and professional and even though it was a little crazy this weekend he was very attentive and polite. We also enjoyed the breakfast both days.

I stayed here for my daughter 9th birthday party (slumber party ) we stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom and the staff there was amazing everything went great thanks to Mohammed from front desk 👍👍

The gym and the pool are very good and the food was one of the best hotel foods I have ever had. It's worth it. And I had a lot of fun with family here.

Nice clean hotel room with kitchen. Had a problem with toilet needed plunger front desk sent someone up immediately. Justin the bartender super cool and nice good conversation. Breakfast was ok. Not a fan of those pancakes. Pool, hot tub, sauna up and running, good and clean. Maybe there was a tournament or something this weekend the pool and hot tub was over crowded by kids. Would stay again hopefully i wont catch them at such a busy busy time. The few moments i had in the pool and hot tub were quiet and relaxing before the families started piling in.

The room was clean. Breakfast was amazing. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Any issues or concerns we had we immediately addressed. I will definitely look for a hyatt house at any destination I travel to in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay. Hotel was gleaming and staff was amiable. The room had nice furniture, clean bedding, restroom looked outstanding and the complimentary breakfast was actually delicious. We had a fantastic window view from our room which was located on the 6th floor.

My favorite hotel to stay at when I'm in Chicago for work. I love that it has a sauna and a hot tub. Receptionists are always very nice and helpful, especially Jade. There are some amenities listed on the site which they no longer offer, such as a shuttle to any destination within 5 miles. I understand staffing can make it difficult to offer this, but in that case it should be removed off the website.

Always like staying here. Front Desk is super friendly, and I appreciate them calling a little after I checked in to make sure my room was ok and if I needed anything. Quiet floors, spacious rooms, and having a mini kitchen is nice.

Very professional and welcoming staff, and check-in was quick and easy. The room is very nice and clean. Highly recommend this location.

Pretty clean, the staff is awesome great service there, Bert Hernandez (General Manager) and Erika (Front Desk) they're fantastic, the ladies in the restaurant as well. Couple guests are disgusting during my weekend there but was not a big deal.
I recommend 100% this place.

Nice stay. Room was clean and comfortable. The custom made Omelette for Breakfast was stellar.

My only issue is that the elevator opens and closes but does not move or go anywhere when you press a floor number.

I Love This Place! great prices, awesome staff, the manager is very polite and understanding. Coming in to the Hyatt It’s very nice going into the lobby and the rooms are even more beautiful and clean. The staff are welcoming and friendly and ready to help you with your needs at anytime. Added bonus go for the pool and basketball court on the premises gives you lots to do and there is breakfast provided in the morning. I would definitely return as a guest and would recommend many of my friends/family to visit here.

OMG...best mattress ever!!! I had a slight emergency and needed a hotel room that could accommodate my dog, too. I called around 10:00pm and was relieved to hear they had a room. The staff were nice and helpful. I liked the room. While I didn’t care for the scent of the detergent used for their towels, once I got into bed my personal preference for detergent disappeared as I sank into a cloud of perfection! I have a bad back so hotel beds are usually challenging...not this time. This was the best mattress ever. I will not hesitate to use this property in the future.

One of the best places I have stayed at. Their rooms are equipped with a full kitchen and the kitchen has quality utensils and appliances. To be honest, they actually have better utensils than I have in my own house. There prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly. Also, they have an excellent breakfast menu. Waking up early to grab breakfast was totally worth it.

We had a great time at this extended stay! The staff is so gracious and ready to help with anything. The room was also great especially for the price and we are excited to stay again. They also did great social distancing and you could see real care to keep everyone safe.

If you're ever having work done on your house and need to be out of the house for it and need a place to stay look no further than the Hyatt House. It is a non smoking hotel with places you can smoke outside. It is very clean and maintained and the customer service is outstanding. They were very attentive of any needs like extra toiletries. They also have stove tops and cooking utensils if you want to cook. But even if you're having a staycation this is the place. Also great pool as well
