Best Western Plus Pontoon Beach

Check it out for yourself. Here is my 2 cents on the matter. I truly enjoyed my stay. These summer months leaves a lot of hotel rooms feeling clammy, almost wet which I dislike. I did not find this at Best Western Pontoon Beach. The individual in charge of the laundry deserves a hand! If you enjoy sleeping in bedding, which is soft and the comforter warm, this location is it. I must also give praise for breakfast and those who took care in preparation of it. Many a times this meal at hotels seem to be an after thought, something that is thrown together in a rush. The results are at times something that resembles something yellow and burnt, sausage sticks, dried patty jerky. “Surprise” for this breakfast is of a different nature. If I was to make the meal myself, I dare say that I wish that I could make an excellent breakfast such as this. potatoes that is tender and soft to the pallet. Juicy sausage links, and tasty scrambled eggs that were prepared with care. My thanks to all the staffers that made this stay so wonderful . I did not try the pool, or venture in the exercise room. Maybe next, yeah 🤣

Rooms are very clean. The pool and fitness center are well cared for as it the patio out back. Good hot breakfast in the morning. Staff is exceptional, they are very welcoming and do what they can to make my stay great. Connie is amazing. She knew that I enjoy the patio and saw me heading that way. She made sure everything was clean and set up to enjoy my time out side. Would definitely stay here again.

We selected to stay at the Best Western Plus Pontoon Beach based on location, affordability, and reviews. We enjoyed our one night stay finding a nice, clean, and quiet establishment. If this site fits your travel plans we highly recommend a stay here, and we will definitely visit again for any future travels.

We were in town for a travel softball tournament. We travel A LOT with two grand daughters playing for two teams. All three generations of our family were super happy with the accommodations. The rooms were clean. Beds were super comfortable. Pool was just right. Breakfast was fabulous! But the best part was the staff! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Connie is a standout for sure! I plan to return to the area in the near future as a tourist and will definitely book your hotel again!

Ive stayed here many times. People who work here are always kind and courteous. Rooms are always clean. They offer many amenities such as food & drink and you can also get a pizza made.

Nice hotel. Stayed for a weekend, not too far from St. Louis zoo or The Dome.20 minute drive, no traffic. Hotel located right off the highway. Would stay again if travels brought us back to the area.

Expectations should be set for how rooms are cleaned - ie, daily, upon request, etc. My room was kept pretty neat by me, but both days the beds were not made by staff, which is an important part of staying in a hotel. Also, I hung towels for reuse, but everything was restocked fresh each day.

Breakfast was the standout. Kept hot, well stocked and clean.

Me and my daughter were traveling to visit the SIUE campus it’s about 10 minutes away from the campus which is a plus. I plan on staying here whenever I’m in the area. Hotel room was clean, heated pool was small but enjoyable, felt very welcomed upon arrival. Connie at the front desk was great. Hotel was very quiet and felt safe

Connie at the desk was amazing. She helped Me to move my reservation around for future stays.

This hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and made great dinner recommendations! Breakfast was very good too!

The most friendly staff I have ever had the pleasure of being around! Extremely clean rooms just a all around wonderful place to stay has the feeling of being at home. I would recommend this hotel over any other in the surrounding area. 5-stars + if there was a 10 star hotel this would be the one. The General Manager was very sweet and answered every question I had without hesitation and you could tell that her and her staff were more like family than co workers. The front desk clerk's that i spoke to Constance and Ashton were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the surrounding area. A 10 star hotel in my books. I will continue to do all my business with this establishment every time I am in the area.

It was the last week of June 2023 and my Granddaughter and I were arriving at the Best Western Plus Hotel in Pontoon Beach, IL @ 4:30 🕟 am CT, we had just finished driving nonstop from Gallop West NM. Ashton was on front desk duty and was very helpful and friendly with our check in and arrival!

Our room was Very clean, comfortable and quiet!
When we woke up at 10:00 🕙 am CT to go to The St. Louis Arch the temperature outside was already 102 degrees with 85% Humidity Hot 🥵 🥵! The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly and was very quiet!
When I asked for directions from Jamuel he was very familiar with the route and gave great directions with a few additional tips! Nice Work Jamuel!

We checked back in to the hotel around 7:00 🕖 pm CT and our room was spotless and made completely comfortable again! The shower 🚿 and bathroom were clean and nice in size!
We Never heard anything noise wise, the room was so very quiet, it was really nice! In the morning I was just about to miss breakfast 🍳 that was provided with the room stay, when Roxi
(God Bless Her Soul!) allowed me to have Breakfast and waited until I was done eating! Roxi you don’t know how happy, grateful 🥲 and important that was to me, because we still had to drive to Mid Michigan! Connie at the front desk was so very friendly and helpful, she made me feel like we were special friends! Everyone was Extremely Friendly and Helpful! This was the Best of our stays on our vacation! We have Nothing But Love ♥♥ and Praise for the staff at Best Western Plus Hotel in Pontoon Beach, IL

I have to say I have been traveling all over the US for my job for the last 19 years and this Best Western is the best by far.
From time I checked into the motel to the time I checked out excellent Customer Service. Connie the Front Dest Clerk is so pleasant and friendly.
The beds are top notch so comfy I slept like a baby.
The breakfast had so many tasty choices and the coffee is good coffee.
I would recommend this Best Western to everyone. Nice clean establishment.

Perfect place for truckers. They have a huge dirt lot to park your truck and trailer. Good breakfast(buffet style), have a pool, gym and Laundry. McDonald’s and a Mexican restaurant nearby. Close to a police station so its safe.

Connie at front desk is amazing. She deserves a raise.

Ahhh, I've been sitting on writing this review for a bit because so much happened during the 2 and a half(ish) months I stayed here.

First and foremost, HUGE SHOUT OUT AND KUDOS to Connie & Ray. Every single interaction I had with both of them was always good, friendly, and always met with a smile.

The rooms themselves were clean, beds were comfortable, and overall spacious.

Also there is a Lot for truck parking big enough for Trucks with Trailers, and oversized loads.

There was a night we had a storm roll through and power was cut for 7+ hours. I do understand that was out of the control of anyone but Ray still went above and beyond to try to take care of everything under his control.

My biggest complaint staying here was just the location. Besides McDonald's, Taco Bell, Tres Camino's, and a Chevron nothing was really "close" enough for me. If I wanted to go to to any store it was more than a 15 minute drive which just got tiring after a while.

One other teeny complaint I do have is in regards to Breakfast. I stayed 2.5 .months and probably only had breakfast a total of 15 times. A couple times I ft like I couldn't eat to comfortable because I was told I put to much on my plate.

Overall I had a good stay here and would ore than likely stay again.
