Colossus Comics and Games

Cool little place that has new comics, back issues, a lot of pop culture stuff, and a ton of role-playing game items. Really clean, really nice staff. I definitely will return when I'm passing through the area again!

I have never had an issue with any of tje staff. When I walk in the door everyone says hello. Very friendly grouo of folks who work here. Been coming to colossus for over a year now and I love the atmosphere and the people I play my MTG games with. Would totally recommend this place to anyone who enjoys having fun playing ther favorite tabletop or CCG. If yoir new to a game, these guys will help you along.

A hidden gem in Mt Vernon. Catering to nerds, geeks and everyone in between with the latest Comics, Graphic Novels, D&D supplies, Warhammer, and a variety of board games and tabletop games. Features a beautiful, spacious gaming room, an arcade area, and offers weekly games for all ages: Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, Warhammer and D&D 5E. With more games being added to the lineup. They also have reasonably priced snacks and drinks for gamers, and a lovely lounge area in the front of the store for coffee and chats. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable and go the extra mile. They can also order things for you if you don't see it on the shelf. Comfortable and welcoming, this is a nice place to hang out and get all your tabletop gaming needs.

This place is a fun little Comic and games shop where you can not only go to purchase the previously mentioned items, but also hang out and play some of those games. I've been going there a few times this last week and with the friendly staff, who are there to help you get into different games like Tugioh, Pokemon, Blood bowl, Warhammer, etc, it makes the place alot more friendlier. Ofcourse, anyone is welcome to come play in the back, even including a consession stand with unlimited refills on their drinks and while I've yet to be able to partake in that (due to limited funds as of writing this) but most items are inexpensive. (I believe the drinks were like $1. Include the unlimited refills and that's pretty good in my book). They also allow outside food and drinks.

The only downside for me personally was the limitations on PokemonTCG stuff, however not only is it not really their fault (can't sell what they don't get) but the rest of the things available there more than make up for it.

This is a strong recommendation for anyone who is into comics, Boardgames, table top games, and TCG games. Come to buy or play, or both! (If any Pokemon TCG players looking for a league, well we can start one but we need more players. If you don't know how to play, well they can help you. The help goes for any other game they play there as well.) Well deserving of its 5 stars.

Just found out from a friend that this place was in town. It has a very nice layout, lots of comic books, a few graphic novels, some killer looking toys ,shirts, and a place to game with other gamers. Very cool and highly recommended!

Great place. Guy was cool, got a free dragon ball z booster pack with the purchase of a dragon ball z booster pack and the free one had a special rare inside! Pokemon was decently priced. Nice store brotherrr.

Very friendly. Well versed staff always ready to help. Great place to shop local for your comics, role playing and card game needs.

Shop owners and staff, are very friendly and helpful. Love this shop. I would highly recommend if you're a tabletop gamer or a comic book nerd like me to stop by Colossus.

Best comic book shop with 400 miles. But I didn't measure. In all seriousness everything you could want. Comics, board games, Warhammer, Pokemon TCG, Magic Cards, figures and collectibles. Identical pricing to what you find online. Clean shop and friendly owner. "Stay awhile and listen."

Great selection of Comics and Games Workshop Products. The Store is clean and well laid out with a huge dedicated gaming room. I wish I lived closer.

The owner and workers are nice and let's you use the backroom for dnd for free and the arcade machines are free also has a snack and drink stand
