Taylor Lake Campground

Beautiful little campground. You can hear the highway noise but it is not annoyingly loud. Owners are accommodating and kind. Office doubles as a beauty shop. Shower house/bathroom is very clean. Grounds are cared for well. Lake is small, but beautiful with a walking trail. Fishing is catch & release making for relaxing fishing. Definitely a hidden gem when it comes to local natural beauty. When we come back to Olney we will definitely choose this campground again.

Camped here for a weekend when our daughter had a softball tournament in Olney. It was perfect. Easy to find and only 7 minutes to the ball fields. Super clean shower house/restrooms. Quiet and relaxing. Felt like we had the place to ourselves most of the weekend. Owners were very nice and came by asking if we needed help with anything. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

We had a really nice stay at this quiet, well-maintained park. The bathrooms were spotless and we had 4 bar reception on Verizon. We had a shady, level site with a view of the neighboring soybean field…it doesn’t get more Midwest than that! Michelle, the manager was very friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely stay here again if we come back through this area.

Taylor Lake is a quiet, serene, wooded campground. We enjoyed the fishing, horseshoes, evening campfires by the lake, and beautiful surroundings. The campground has clean showers and bathrooms within walking distance of the camping areas and rv hookups. The owners are honest and are great neighbors. We are looking forward to visiting again.

My wife and I spent 4 nights here and felt extremely comfortable. Small campground with very nice hosts. Lakeside views are great! Showers are awesome! The facilities are nice and clean. With the town just a short drive up HWY 130, this place is very convenient.

Very well kept, only 10 campsites so never congested, very quiet, plenty of shade, friendly owners, has showers that are very clean, AND...there's a beauty salon!

I have stayed here multiple times over the last year and the owners are absolutely amazing. They take first class care of the campground and wash house, if you’re looking for a day or two or longer this is the place to stop at. All full hook ups too. Right on the main road so it’s easy to get to. I have stayed at many campgrounds over the years since I travel for work and this is one of the nicest.

this is a very small (10 sites), very well maintained, quiet, campground. We were there 5 nights and loved the whole experience. Don't go here if you are planning a drunken party, it won't work. Very nice couple own and run the campground.

Great quiet campground! Clean grounds and very friendly owners. I love the location and the pond. I fished every day there. Bluegill are definitely biting! They also have firewood for a steal!

Awesome little camp ground with full hook-ups 30/50amp water and sewer. Nice little playground from walking babies to big kids.
This is a small campground.

The folks at Taylor Lake Campground were very helpful and friendly to us when our truck broke down and our travel trailer was towed there. They went out of there way for us on a holiday and we highly recommend them!

A very quaint and quiet spot. They are great to work with, the shower house is great, and every spot has it's own water, electric, and sewage hookups.
