Fast friendly service, with good food, agreeable prices. Clean diner. Excellent sweet tea. Old fashioned 10 layer cakes.

Mainly fried food but they are good at what they do! They do have some grilled options now. The fried cheese balls are their staple for an appetizer and the fried shrimp is amazing. I just wish that it was on the water!

I am from North Carolina. Everytime we come down to visit family here, we have to visit this gem. They have really good food and the customer service is outstanding.

First time eating here and my dad and I really enjoyed it. Very courteous staff. We ordered corn nuggets and fried cheese balls as an appetizer. Very good! It was nice to try someplace different. We will be back!

Oh my! If you like homemade onion rings, this place is for you ♥ yum yum! Our service was excellent, food hot and the restrooms are clean!!!

I was pleasantly surprised when we walked inside. I was glad to see the difference in workers which all had good attitudes. The service my friend and I got was A1. I ordered BBQ sandwich with fries; delicious! I'd certainly go back if invited.

Hangry? Snap into Oskar's Cafe!! My wife and I ended up coming here two nights in a row. Our first dinner here was a fun experience and our server was amazing. The appetizers were served quickly and helped beat back the hangry monsters. The burger and club sandwich sealed the deal. I'll be back....

Plenty of selection for everyone. Lunch specials during the week and you can’t beat the friendly service. Support the locals and can’t wait to go back and try something else.

I'm never disappointed when visiting Oskar's Cafe. The food is absolutely fantastic and the service is the cream of the crop.

Had dinner here last night for the first time. Service was excellent and food was good. Wife had the shrimp and catfish dinner and it was wonderful. I had the ribeye and it was good, I would probably try something else next time instead. Definitely will be coming back!

Holy cow this place is fantastic. My brother-in-law brought ne straight here after flying in from Los Angeles, and boy oh boy was the food fantastic. We enjoyed their popcorn shrimp and fried dill pickles for starters, then went to out tasty meals. They were the chicken fingers; country fried steak; hamburger plate and the patti melt dish. They each had a compliment of fries, hushpuppies or onion rings. Lastly I had just enough room for a wonderful coconut cream pie slice, as well as a fried coconut w/vanilla ice cream slice. Everything was amazing in texture and flavors. Too bad I live LA or I'd be coming here often. Btw, our server Bree was awesome and attentive, thank you for your southern hospitality. This place has been a favorite restaurant of mine for most of my life.
It has been a mainstay of the Lake Martin area for about 30-ish years.
Every employee I’ve met there has been super friendly.
The menu has an excellent selection of Southern comfort food.
Their cheeseballs are one-of-kind and outstanding. I’ve never had anything close to theirs.
Definitely give this place a whirl if you like tasty food and excellent service. If you don’t like either of those (which I HIGHLY doubt), stay FAR away. This is not your place to go! 🤣🤣

Thankful to the good Lord for these cheese balls. Delightful to bite into as warm cheese oozes into your mouth, you get a taste of the crunchy outside that was dipped in their wonderful ranch dressing. If you have any to take home.. the air fryer revives them and you think its a fresh batch.
